  1. Wow, Brianna is Vicki's daughter all the way. Everything is about them. I think Brooks is a scamming scammer who scams and I 100% think he is lying about his cancer but Brianna is acting like Vicki being in a relationship with him is a personal slight to her (Brianna). She's so upset that Vicki moved Brooks into the "family home" like she has some kind of claim on it any more. It's Vicki's home, she should do whatever she wants with it and that has nothing to do with Brianna. Brianna needs to accept that her mom's relationships are not a dig at her. I dislike Vicki a lot but I do believe that she loves her children ... as much as a self centered sea hag can love anyone. Brianna wants Vicki to prove how much she loves her by leaving the only person Vicki has to fill her love tank. To me Brianna's weight looks really thyroid related. I have a bum thyroid myself and I lose and gain weight at the drop of a hat. I always seem to gain weight in my face first. It's really super cute and I love having a round puffy face. I would love to go on a reality show and talk about it. Except not. I don't like Brianna but I don't blame her at all for mentioning her weight. I have to laugh every time Brianna whines that they don't have any friends in OK. Gee, whatever reason could there be for this perfectly lovely couple not being able to find any friends?
  2. I didn't think too much of that "doctor" Brooks went to see. He seemed about one step up from Shannon's Dr Moon. That blood thing didn't make any sense. Your blood can only reach a certain point of oxygen saturation. If Brooks actually had an issue with his blood oxygen levels he would be turning blue and dying, not getting cancer. Say what you will about Heather, I think if there's one thing that she is, it's smart. She is very aware of how she comes off and how she needs to present herself preserve her image. (Yes, I think she can be snooty and uptight but I think she wants to look that way. That's her shtick.) If she is calling Brooks' report a "mockument" then there's something to that. There's no way she would accuse him of faking it unless she had some damned good evidence she was correct. On a totally different note, I'm pretty sure Tamara is only getting baptized so that she has an excuse to throw a party for herself. Maybe she can hire Ryan to hand her a towel after she gets out of the pool.
  3. Tamara is an even bigger idiot than I thought if she thinks going to church is magically going to help Ryan and Sarah fix their relationship. They can go to church every single day of the week but they're still two poorly functioning adults who make questionable life choices. Top that off with them not having any money and an inability to feed their children breakfast and you have a recipe for disaster. Church can't fix that. Tamara also needs to stop thinking that Ryan is mess now because she didn't raise him in the church. Maybe he's a mess because she did a bad job raising him and maybe he's a mess because he's just a mess of his own accord. She's just looking for something to blame so Ryan doesn't have to be accountable at all for anything. Poor Ryan! No one ever read him the bible so now he doesn't know how breakfast works!
  4. I have a chronic illness that has damaged pretty much every aspect of my health. The good news is that I still look pretty healthy for such a sick person. Once people find out I'm sick I find I get a lot of the following two reactions: 1. People just don't believe me. I look "too healthy" to be sick. 2. People insist they know my illness better than I do and that I MUST see a certain doctor or try a new treatment or apply a particualr essential oil to various parts of my body. I know that no one has a right to see any of my medical records but if there was a way showing them to people would shut either of those reactions down I would get my records printed on a t-shirt and wear it daily. Now Brooks should not be harrassed into showing his records to anyone either but there are ways he can try to shut down some of the rumors. Maybe start by keeping his story straight. "I don't drink now like I did when I had chemo but of course I couldn't drink when I was getting chemo but now I drink sometimes when it's a special event like today but not now." Dude, you changed your story five times in one sentence! No wonder no one believes the nonsense coming out of your mouth. This whole season has just gotten so depressing. It makes me long for the early days and happy scenes like when Shannon and David played dead in a hotel room and Tamara held a baby shower in her chronically emtpy gym. (Or was that least season? I've lost all concept of the passage of time. My kids had to eat breakfast today and that just threw me off.)
  5. Hello all! Long time reader, first time poster here. Just a few thoughts on this episode. Ryan is scary. If he's willing to yell about the kids wanting to eat breakfast (?) loudly and repeatedly while on camera what will he do when no one is around? Those poor kids. I am so over the Brooks cancer story. Unless there's going to be an episode where they reveal once and for all if he really does or does not have cancer then what is the point of all this nonsense? I don't know if Brooks has cancer or doesn't but I do know Brooks is a lying liar who lies and I'm not inclined to believe anything he says. I know that what we're shown isn't real life but nothing we've shown adds up to him really having cancer. I've lost several loved ones to cancer and I know that if you had asked any of them at any point what kind of treatment they were getting they could have given you a solid answer that didn't change depending on what way the wind was blowing. I'm suspicious based on how inconsistant his story is. Mostly though I'm over this boring story line. Meghan is not right in the head. I think she's right about Brooks but she's so far out of line that I can't support her at all. The only thing I could say in her defense is that it is dangerous for people ro pretend they have cancer and then talk about miracle cure (that in reality won't do anything for someone who's really sick) because it might convince people who are sick to try the same cure. Does anyone remember that woman a while back who claimed she was treating her brain cancer with natural foods? Her stroy fell apart when she told people the doctor who diagnosed her was named Dr Phil and he had diagnosed her using magnets. She never had cancer at all but she had faked her way into a book deal and a popular website and lucrative fundraisers and even a healthy eating app. It's scary to think how many people were following her advice. So yes, I see what Meghan was saying there. But I don't think that's her real motivation. I think she's just desperate and thirsty and not all the way stable. Terry bugs but he was right about that tree. I kind of like Heather but I don't know what she wanted him to say about that dopey little doodle.
