Kanye West is buying Parler. Isn't that the social media site that Fundies use?

I don't know about that but earlier this year it was announced that Mr. West was CEO of the company I work for. This was a total shock to our current CEO.

This. And then overreact with the comment about their body keeping them alive longer than they thought it would. I took that to mean they went through cancer or something, which isn’t something to joke about or use to make a point.

It seems Leo hasn’t outgrown their angry, overdramatic asshole phase.

I will say it IS rude to make comments on whether or not someone is pregnant. Best way to respond might be: “No I’m just fat —  thanks for making me feel bad about it.”

When I was adk that I replied That's my food baby. The customer did not intend to be rude so I responded in a joking manner .

I can understand being upset about being ask if your  pregnant when you are overweight ( this has happened to me but I was 63 years old so I was more amused than offended) but does she have to be so aggressively rude about it.

I just realized I did  not use the correct pronouns and cannot edit it because of time. My apologies I did not mean to be rude.

Her instructions were no solid food, clear liquids only starting today (water, ginger ale, apple juice etc)  and the prep pills starting Sunday.

Ugh, mine were never that restrictive. Lots of good thoughts and prayers for her.

Rotten banana at her mother and medicine ball directly at her mother's face without any notice.

I knew someone who would do that. I explained "please hand it to me I don't like things thrown at me. " The next time they did it I took a step back, turned around and left it in the floor. The family was "gosh CCL has no sense of humor ,suck up ect." I explained again " Don't like things thrown at me" and they would say  " Just having fun grumble grumble. I think Whitney is like that she thinks it lighthearted humor. My dislike of things thrown at me explains why I hated baseball In school.

Jessa wins? How? Her home is in Numfuck, Arkansas. I would rather live in a studio in CA than a mansion in AR.  Who the hell wants to live in Arkansas?

Maybe the people who live there? From pictures I have seen there are parts that are gorgeous and a lot of very friendly down to earth people.

I don't even like country music, but I love "Coal Miner's Daughter" -- the song and the movie (which was filmed near where I grew up).  Loretta was a force to be reckoned with, and she'll be missed.

Yes. I agree.  I am not a fan of country music but her Coal Miner's daughter and Dolly Parton's Coat of many colors are special to me.

My interpretation of what happened with Meri's mother was that she had been feeling unwell for a week or so, then she felt so poorly that she went to the hospital.  Most likely the family member downplayed it with Meri and she didn't consider it an immediate emergency.  When it became an emergency after the two days, then it was clear that her mother was having/had a heart attack and Meri needed to head out. Meri mentioned "coding and being worked on", so that was probably what happened suddenly in the hospital that had her now rushing to drive.

It may not have been Meri who put off going, but who ever told her didn't make it seem as bad as it was. Or simply it didn't appear as bad until it was very bad.

To quote my mother's very odd phrase... "You never know when you are going to be hit with a bus of nuns."

Ok, I used the laugh emoji for the last line only. I hope I can remember and use it when appropriate.

Yeah, but even thin women who look fantastic in them, don't wear them to all the inappropriate places that Whitney does, so that has me wondering.

I definitely agree with that but I think Whitney is so super focused on her weight ( everything is about her being fat and people hating her for being fat) that I do not think she can make that logical jump. I think sometimes she dress inappropriately just to make that point. I also think after wearing sports bras and leggings for so long  sometimes she doesn't even stop to consider if they are inappropriate. My personal thought is they belong in the gym but I am old and conservative.  I would also NEVER even think of voicing that thought to anyone.  People should dress as they wish. If I do not approve that is my issue not theirs.

  11. I do not wear a mask in the grocery store any more unless it is crowded. I do not get close enough to people to catch something. At work if a customer comes in with a mask I put one on or if they seem congested I will put on a mask. Also if an older person or anyone who seems frail I will put on my mask. However flu and cold season is coming and I will be wearing a mask whenever I am around people.  I pan on getting the flu vaccine and Covd booster but want to wait a bit so they will be full strength when flu season is at its worst.

I am a volunteer at my local hospital and we are still required to wear masks as we are at the dentist and ophthalmology offices at which I am a patient.  I choose to wear one in stores as well but practically no one else does.

Sadly, after almost three years I got nailed by a loving cousin.  She came to visit and announced:  "It's not Covid, just a cold" and then called when she got home to tell me she was wrong.  If one more person says "It's just a cold" my head is going to explode. TEST FIRST!

And why would she think it's OK to pass a cold to you?  You feel just as bad and if you have a preexisting condition you can still have complications.

Forgive my ignorance, but is that a church in the foreground and is their house a parsonage?  Is the parking lot still being used for nearby businesses?  I am very confused why a family with four young kids would move into a house where the front yard is a parking lot, especially if it's still being used as such.  Was this a Jim Blob special that he generously "gifted" to Jessa and Bin?  What a sad place to live.

And I feel like Bin thinks the fedora gives him a personality.  It doesn't, unless what he's going for is bland and boring but this time with a hat.

It looks like they have a backyard to play in.
