  1. Finn, you took that a wee bit too far. And you just have to see that Sheila's actions regarding Steffy, and "putting her life on the line", was actually to save her own ass future. You do see that right? Sheila doesn't love Steffy, she detests her, and she only wanted to save her so she wouldn't be blamed for Sugar's crime.

Even so, I can't feel sorry for Steffy, even though she is 100% correct. I just despise the character too much to have any empathy for her. She jumped on the Thomas is a changed man train with absolutely no type of evidence to support it. She goes off on anyone who challenges that theory, telling them they don't know what they are talking about. She herself is a murderer/attempted murderer and is an elitist snob. So, even though I know it is wrong, I am going to love watching her perfect little world fall apart.

Deacon calls Sheila on her shit behavior, then wants to canoodle and have fun. Dude, the fact that she has zero interest in you, and only wants to plan out her road to fucking with everyone you say you love and care about, should be sending up big fat red flags. How can you seriously sit there and act like that performance with Li was funny? Ok, if Sheila wanted to hide under the blankets and shock Li that would be one thing. But that wasn't what Sheila was about, no her game was to taunt Li and freak her out about Finn. It wasn't funny at all. It was mean and cruel. And I don't even really like Li anymore. I don't care if Sheila has given up mercury, guns, knives, and kidnapping and now wants to be a dark comedian, she is still a raging psycho.

Ridge and Liam, please take heed! This is not Hope's fault, and yelling at her isn't going to change anything. She is just the messenger. But I will give you leeway with Hope's softening stance regarding Sheila, the woman who has messed with her mother for decades.

  2. Well, you guys have pretty much said it all, so no need to belabor the very pertinent points.

But I do have to add how much I wanted to punch Liam into the next century. Going on about how he and Ridge were going to protect Steffy, and of course, Kelly. Talk about tunnel vision. His other ex-wife, who is also the mother of one of his children, is standing right in front of him, but not one word of concern for them even though their dad and grandad is engaged to the same psycho he wants to protect Steffy from. Now, if you look at things historically, Steffy is pretty damn good at protecting herself. Her younger escapades against Hope notwithstanding, she chased Quinn through Monte Carlo, she also tried to shoot her in her hotel room. She killed Ally and tried to kill Ivy. She went to grandad Eric's with a gun. And most recently, offed Sugar. Hope OTOH, has never displayed any type of aggression and is clearly not equipped to protect herself. So shut the hell up Liam, all your concerned with saving is Steffy's crotch.

All Bradly knows how to write (and I am using that term very, very loosely) are WTD, triangles, and misunderstanding nights.

  3. It is all a big friggin mess, but at the end of the day, Finn is entitled to his own feelings and opinions, no matter how wrong or misguided they may be. But Steffy will never see or respect his right to said feelings and opinions and is going to beeline for her safe place, which is Liam's arms.

Stupid, ignorant, rude ass Ridge actually thinks Hope would make something like that up? Take your sorry ass on over to Deacon's place and see for yourself.

Do I think that Sheila is reformed? I don't think it is possible for a psychopath to change their spots. But I do think it is possible for them to behave when they are getting what they want. And that's where Sheila is right now.

    This, this, and more this!

Sheila will be fine until someone challenges her. Hope wasn't really on board, but she wasn't up in Sheila's face either. Now, Steffy on the other hand? Our Royal Highnass isn't going to be quiet. She isn't going to listen. She is going to start hurling directives at everyone, telling them what they are going to do, how they are going to feel, and who they are going to see.

Finn doesn't have a chance in hell of making any type of relationship with Sheila as long as he is married to Steffy. So, looks like he will have a choice to make.

Liam comes to a work meeting and first thing out of his mouth is asking if Steffy heard from Finn.

  5. I see what Show is doing; in order to make Sheila palatable they are trying to make Steffy and Ridge insufferable. This tactic doesn't usually work for me, but when you consider that Steffy and Ridge were already insufferable, this recent glomming on with even more hatefulness is making it almost easy to root for Sheila. And I am only saying root for her in the sense of causing Steffy and Ridge's faces to crack so hard that it splits them both in two, and I never again have to hear their condescending shit.

Ridge, talking to Charlie about knocking on doors. HA! Did Ridge knock on Caroline's bedroom door that night? How about Brooke's? Not to mention that barging into other people's homes is status quo in Bell LA.

  6. Well, so much for my amnesia theory, I guess Sheila was too parched to talk at first.

Oh man, are we in for it now. Sheila was kidnapped! Sheila was chained up and left to die! Sheila was trying to save Steffy! Give her the good Samaritan award and the key to the city at once! The only good to come out of it will be watching Steffy realize she didn't take Sheila down at all.

And speaking of Steffy......GIRRRRRRL, you need to stay in your lane. You may rule your household, but you sure as fuck don't rule Deacon's. You don't get to march your bossy little ass into his place of business and attempt to dictate his life. You don't get to tell him how to feel, or what to say, or who to say it to.

How dare Ivy come to town without first requesting an audience with her Highnass. Is Ivy unaware of the proper protocols? Steffy comes first, then everyone else. Furthermore, how dare she set up a lunch date with Liam without clearing it with Steffy first, and how dare she be leaning over the table locking lips with him! Doesn't Ivy know the only person allowed to share kisses with Liam is Steffy?

Here is a thought Steffy, maybe Ivy didn't tell you she was in town because she knows you have a penchant for killing your cousins.

Ivy looked a bit sassy there at the end. My hope is that they have given her some spit and vinegar this go round and she isn't going to let The Bitch run over her.

  7. I think the story is going to go that in an effort to subdue Sheila, Sugar knocked her over the head. That will either cause amnesia or will have knocked the crazy out of Sheila. Either way, she will be a victim with no memory of who she is and what she has done, or she will be a new person and no longer a psycho.

Sheila has long since passed her use by date, and in order to keep her around they need to do something different. And what would be more different that a redemption SL?

I am not really down for it either way and was hoping the character had been laid to rest forever.

But if they redeem Sheila, and Thomas is gone, we have no villain on board. Well, unless you consider Steffy and her sloppy papa.

  8. Ashleigh Brewer looks damn good! I felt so bad for her when she was telling Liam how she thought about him all the time, because I am sure he hasn't given her a passing thought since she left LA.

It is called a cellular phone; a portable device designed to help you keep in touch while on the go. It can also be used in emergencies, like when you find your kidnapped momma/girlfriend changed up in an abandoned building.

I am going to lay bets that Sheila isn't going to know who either of them are. Her normal reaction at seeing Finn would be "Finn! You came to save me you do love me!" That was a pretty toned down reunion for Sheila.

  9. The Boys are Back in Town is now stuck in my head.

Deacon was utilizing all his skillz to get to his girl, while Finn gave up the ghost and became 100% invested and was far more animated than Deacon.

Whether Sheila is alive or not is kind of a moot point. What will matter is that Steffy didn't off her, and that Finn went on a search to find Nine Toes. If she is alive, Finn's happiness will send Steffy around the bend and running straight to Liam, who will be busy kissing up Ivy.

  10. Deacon man, you need to slow your roll and explain an unbelievable story in a way that it can be believable. Tell Finn about your visit from Lauren, and what she told you, then SHOW HIM THE PICTURE and the article about Sheila's doppelganger getting sprung, and tie that in with the emails and Sheila's recent habit of going off to meet someone from her past. As it was, Deacon was all over the place, mixing it all up, and he did sound crazy.

I hate the way Brooke paws and coos and caws over that slob.

    I also hate Steffy.

  11. Been on a much needed hiatus because..........well because Show sucks.

But, I decided to tune in yesterday just to see what is up.

It is always weird to see Lauren and Eric together acting like they were never a thing.

Gawd, Steffy though? Such an incredible person for allowing your husband his own feelings.

I don't want to see Finn and Hope together, but if it means that Steffy gets hurt? Yeah, I will be down for it.

Best line of the day; the mortician man screaming to Deacon, "It's really hot in there!"

  12. I rarely post here, but this episode plucked my nerves on so many levels.

I don't agree with only one judge; that allows the judging to be taste specific. I am also not a big fan of Kristina Crestin, who veers into muddy, clingy designing. I knew immediately who she was going to choose based on her reactions and comments.

I also do not like Page; something about her has always rubbed me the wrong way. And after her nasty, snarky remarks to, and about, Keith and Evan in episode one, I have no use for her at all. Her first comment was after they discussed the outside of the house, and she said something about the art of negotiation is about letting the other party think they got more than they did, as if Keith and Evan were two cornfed idiots that she was able to bamboozle with her superior intellect. Her second comment was after she saw the artwork for the dining room, and she said they were good artists, but as competitors, they just didn't have the knowledge of what it takes to raise the market value of their house. Insufferable bitch. I have mad respect for Keith and Evan, who have gone into houses that Miss Prissy Page wouldn't step a foot into. Who have lived in filth, eaten cold food, lived with no heat and running water, all to better their city. Yeah, girlfriend needs to take all the seats.

For the life of me I can't figure out why Page and Mitch won the bedroom. A raised bed? Really? I am old and clumsy and see broken toes and sprained ankles. An outdoor shower? Why would you need that when you have one big enough for an entire football team steps away? I guess getting chewed up by mosquitos is preferable to stepping into your luxury steam shower. OH! But you can see the water while you wash! A champagne bar? I would much rather have a multipurpose good old refrigerator since I drink champagne about once a year if that. There was also no access to the laundry room, and I thought the closet shelving looked like something you would pick up at IKEA. And the horrid pink counter on the vanity. Just no.

This win belonged to Keith and Evan. So they put a fireplace in the closet. And the friggin nitpick about the storage on the counter? Sorry, but you can never have enough storage, and that looked hella convenient to me. And Kristina did say that it was one of her pet peeves, so who is to say how potential buyers would feel. Keith and Evan were also the only ones who opened up the entire wall and put in bifold doors. Their rooms were cohesive and beautiful.

    End of rant.

  13. My bets say Poppy will say Bill is Luna's father in order to put an end to it. Of course, Bill isn't her father, that is either Finn or Jack, and is the reason Poppy refuses to come clean with Luna. Then again, Show could have been throwing us a red herring. And it would be a win for Poppy since Bill and Luna already know and like each other.

Luna looked so much better yesterday without those tendrils of hair hanging around her face and the toned-down makeup.

  14. I also think we are heading to some type of Poppy/Zende mashup. How long has it been since we have seen Bill and Poppy on a date? Or heard him waxing on about her? It seems they are trying to distance them while at the same time throwing Poppy and Zende together all the time. I believe the original plan was for Luna to be Bill's daughter and he and Poppy would hook up, but for reasons unknown they ditched that and are moving Poppy in a new direction.

Honestly, I am ok with that. I want Bill to have a new woman in his life, but he was becoming such a steaming pile of mushy oatmeal, constantly going on about the wonders of his one night with Poppy twenty years ago, that I didn't recognize him anymore. I really wanted to see him and Li hook up, but they have destroyed her for me, so I can't root for that pairing anymore. How can you have a dynamic character like Bill Spencer and not be utilizing them, but are completely on board with shoving Luna and RJ down our collective throats on a daily basis?

Which daughter are you talking about? The one she had with Massimo, who I believe will never be mentioned again, or Erica/Mary who last we heard wanted nothing to do with Sheila, or one of the retconned twins on Y&R who I hope they never mention here?

I was having a very stupid moment there and forgot that Sugar was not Sheila's daughter, but was Sheila's friend, accomplice, and now enemy.

But I still don't doubt she would sacrifice one of her kids to save her on hide, or to get what she wanted.

  16. Maybe it is all just Sheila's master plan?

The mention of someone showing up from her past would be Sugar. Right on the heels of that Deacon tells Sheila he is not ready to go to the altar, then Steffy shows up, confronting Sheila and telling her she wished she were dead.

So, she goes with Sugar to Cliff House, telling Sugar to go in a kill Steffy, or at the very least, terrorize her to the point she attacks. Steffy will tell the police it was Sheila acting in a threatening manner, but then the police see all ten toes and know it isn't Sheila. Now they want to know what beef Steffy had with someone she didn't even know. The don't find any weapons on the victim, don't see any sign of forced entry, and arrest Steffy on murder charges.

Finn thinks Sheila is dead and is clearly shook up by it. This is a big win for Sheila, because when he learns she is not dead, he will be happy and looking forward to seeing her again.

Sheila will either have left Deacon a letter or will contact him saying she thought he needed a break to think things through, and she will be back later.

I have no doubt Sheila would sacrifice her daughter to get what she wants, and this would get Steffy out of the way, would make Finn realize that he actually does love Sheila, and would make Deacon's heart grow fonder, and may get him ready to get married.

The only hole is that Sugar would have been in Cliff House uninvited, but this is B&B land, where normal stuff never makes sense.

  17. Whelps, looks like there are going to be some rough waters ahead for the Finnegans. Just watching and listening to Finn as Steffy was talking clearly showed he was not a husband who was worried about his wife's ordeal, or that she could have been harmed. And it really annoys me because they make Finn so wishy washy. One day he wants Sheila to stay away and worries that she might hurt Steffy or the kids, then the next day he could care less that Sheila once again entered his home uninvited and unannounced and was acting in a threatening manner. Whether Sheila was there to harm Steffy or to sing Kumbaya is kind of irrelevant to Steffy's fear; remember she is the one that looked down the barrel of Sheila's gun, so why wouldn't she react the way she did?

I am begging the writers not to let this lead to a Hope and Finn pairing. They have zero romantic chemistry; only working as good friends and convoluted stepsiblings. But they have been desperately searching for a way to get Liam back in Steffy's bed, and Finn being angry and horrified that his wife offed his mom and leaving is a sure fired way to do it.

Line of the century goes to Brooke with her "Steffy has never been a violent person."

  18. Sheila is most certainly not dead, because she will never die.

No Finn, Sheila did not push Steffy first; Steffy punched Sheila and continued to taunt her, until Sheila lost her cool and came at Steffy.

Didn't we clearly see Steffy going to each door to make sure it was locked? I guess Sheila was able to pick the sliding glass door lock in the dark and during a thunderstorm.

I think this is all about setting Steffy up for murder charges. She sought out Sheila and attacked her and made it clear that she wanted her dead. And a lot of people know that; Sheila, Deacon, Finn and Hope.

I bet Sheila didn't have a weapon in her pocket. Nope, I say she had something that Kelly left at the restaurant and was returning it ala Liam. The perfect set up to get Steffy out of her and Finn's lives.

And there is still this mysterious person from Sheila's past who has shown up in LA. Maybe one of her kids going to take on their psycho momma's mantle while she is temporarily dead?

  19. I'm just going to stay out of the whole consent/nonconsent discussion; I find the SL so offensive I don't want to give it any cred by commenting on it.

But I do have an observation, something that has been bothering me about the whole mint switcheroo. I went back and rewatched the episode where it happened, and they show Luna emptying out her purse and her mints where in a tin with what looks like peppermint printed on top. Poppy uses a small, round pill case that looks nothing like the square tin Luna carried. I question why Luna would pull that round case out of her purse and take them knowing that was not her mint tin?

And I will say that having Zende now encouraging Luna to leave RJ and hook up with him is just so fucking ridiculous. Zenda is a good looking, talented, well-connected guy, but he is willing to start a relationship with a girl who he knows is in love with his cousin?

    Darla and Bill Spencer

    Maggie and Dylan

    Brooke and Deacon

    Brooke and Thorne

    Brooke and Nick

    Eric and Jackie

  20. Is Popping dropping A, and going around on a perpetual trip? Cause that didn't look like Luna just had a "buzz" working, she was full on hallucinating.

Why would Luna take a pill from her mother's stash? I don't think she knows what her mom is taking, and thought they were just mints. But then, Poppy didn't seem all that concerned about it.

In any event, it is sure one fucked up way to get Luna into Zende's bed.

Show is really dragging right now. They seem to be trying to achieve something but are completely missing the mark.

I am lucky if I actually watch five minutes of an episode.
