I was really pulling for Tamal to win this week, and I'll miss Sandy's fun and energy. I knew Tamal's cheesecakes were going to be fantastic the minute he mentioned the bain-marie. That's the best way to get an even bake and a really creamy texture.

Someone in the episode post had asked if Waffle Love opened their brick-and-mortar post-show. We live local and I've been to both, so I'm pretty sure they've had the brick and mortar for about a year and a half. It predates the show by quite a bit. The store's menu is a little different than the truck because you can also get ice cream on your waffle or chicken and waffles.
