No, you are most certainly not the only one. I'm skeeved out by those ads. There is absolutely nothing normal about a mother washing her adult child in the shower. And the fact that the daughter says her mom washing her body and hair makes her feel comforted (or something like that) is yucky. These people have serious issues. I feel like I need to take a shower (I can do this all by myself) after seeing those ads, they gross me out so much.

The entire concept is disgusting and gross.  I will never watch it.  Let's hope most people feel the same, so they can go the way of that fingernail show.

Why am I not surprised that some people really need to act like this Lana is some sort of unattractive woman? Funny.

Look it up, he has a fake “certification’’ from a fake “school.”

Because that's our opinion?  I see a woman who has clearly used doctored/old pictures, and I don't find her attractive at all.

I was hoping she washed it before showing it on tv.

Everyone denies watching but when you start talking about particular couples they chime in and claim to have supposedly caught peeks while channel surfing lol.

I caught my ex husband completely engrossed in it more than once, although of course he "would never!". He wasn't even trying to look away😂

  4. @Tango64, that sounds like a winner!  I can see all of it playing out exactly like that.

Watch Varya next say that she cannot afford more than one night in the hotel and rides back and forth so please let me stay on the sofa.  Hilarity ensues.

I would be concerned for her if I didn't know TLC is hovering nearby. Given Geoffrey's history, I'm still pissed he got a public forum, trashy is what we want, not *sociopath*.  We see you asshole, and know exactly who you are.

That's why it's so hard to take this particular situation seriously. In the real world when someone tells you "no, I don't want to see you again" and the person keeps going at them, it's definitely wrong and creepy (and maybe illegal depending on how far you take it). But in the reality TV world where you have a production company arranging the visa, paying for the tickets, making the travel arrangements, and possibly even providing you with a script of sorts it's easier to side eye. I don't think Varya wanted to go to Knoxville (although she was probably game for a free trip to the US), I don't think Geoffrey really stopped responding to her (this is a man who's done nothing but lie), and I think the only person who MIGHT have been surprised by her sudden appearance (other than the dogs) was Mary.

Exactly!  I don't believe for two seconds that Geoffrey truly ever said"no" to Varya, no way his ego would have been able to resist the two-women-fighting-over-me scenario.  He's a liar who lies like it's his second job.

My feelings about both Geoffrey and David come from watching the flashes of rage they've both shown.  That, coupled with David's own comments like "she's going to see me whether she likes it or not!" puts him squarely in stalker territory.

Varya: no anger involved, not a stalker, she seems to want to present a happy surprise.  Just my opinion.

And the US let her back in?  I've never crossed any border, and have never been in trouble with the law, but I can just see me coming back from abroad and being taken physically taken to the ground and handcuffed for a long-forgotten overdue library book, thank you note, etc.  🤣

I'm confused too.  So she can just slip in by car and nobody is the wiser?

I think it's probably true Aladdin divorced Laura for all her lies, she lied about almost everything:  her age,( originally said she was early 40s), her immigration status,  her income.  Now she's broke and homeless and Aladdin couldn't care less.

Laura and Evelin had a big fight because Laura was trying to break up Corey and Evelin.  Something about Laura wanting to be roommates with Corey or wanting to take Corey’s place in a roommate situation.  Corey and Evelin are living separately in Ecuador because she is mad about his involvement with Larissa.

Laura did not get paid for her season because she gave out spoilers during the season.  Laura is trying to get on another season so wanted to date Raoul but Evelin thinks he is part of her storyline and Sharp doesn’t like the storylines to cross.

Danielle was dating a fat older rich man but then he became smitten with Laura and flew to Ecuador to visit her.  Laura wasn’t interested in him romantically but Danielle was jealous and blowing up his phone.  Laura then tried to get Mohammed to start trashing Danielle.

No one in Laura’s family is speaking to her. The tell all was much more brutal than shown with Liam guffawing.  There is more but that is the gist.

Oh wow, I was trying to remember last night what happened in Ecuador, now I understand why nobody there was the least bit concerned with her. Evelin isn't about to let her step into her cash stream and I can't say I blame her.

And this also explains why Corey moved into that room upon his return to Engabao.

And like the Asshole he is, he mostly just sits back and lets the women go at it.

It's mostly one sided with Mary attacking Varya and, honestly, she seems crazier than him. It's a clusterfuck.

I can't help but think of the contrast between Rose and Mary, hero vs zero.

There are so many people that I like better on Pillow Talk than I did on their seasons: Tim, Veronica, David, Annie, Molly...Actually, I really did like Molly during her season, but her (IMO) irresponsible decision to keep Luis around after the way he treated her kids poisoned the water a little.

I agree.  I like Tim and Veronica's repartee, they seem natural and relaxed together.  I think that's the key to a successful Pillow Talker, it has to seem like two good friends actually enjoying the show, with witty snark.  All the enjoyable couples IMO have this quality.

Robert and Anny aren't quite there yet, but I was so touched by the love she shows Bryson, I'm giving them some slack.  Robert's gotten in a few zingers.

You know how you would know you need to show your divorce documents?  Because even when you register to get married for the first time they ask you if you had ever been married before and if so to provide proof of dissolution. This was true when I got married in NYS. From then on you’d have to know that would be the case wherever you go. I’m sure this is true in every one of the 50 states in the US, and it’s clearly true in Nigeria.

Not true.  I remarried in Florida in 2004, all I did was sign a form stating I was free to marry.

That said, if I were flying to a foreign country to get married, I'd have brought certified copies of everything.  And why was Usman responsible for that,  HE hasn't been married before.

Corey's story does not add up. When we first met him, he was an adrenaline junkie who traveled the world, seeking adventure. Now he's a bed wetting milk toast who's afraid of his fiancée's temper. He's not that good an actor.

I said the same thing during their season, he's so dweeby it's hard to see the adrenaline junkie!

  12. I'm impressed by Omar 's openness to this unknown convict, it wouldn't be surprising if he were leery about it.  Seems to me that Omar and Avery are on their way to a decent, working partnership.

Avery is bound to be disappointed in her dad's post prison behavior, I'm sorry to say.
