Justin Timberlake vs. any of the following; Andy Samberg, Joseph Gordon-Leavitt, or Jimmy Fallon

I want Ru Paul to be a guest judge on Face Off and eviscerate our contestants' "beauty" makeups
And have the challenge be to make your model a drag queen. I bet most of the contestants would really have a hard time with it. And if they absolutely have to have it be "monstery", then think of the alien spy woman that fooled around with Martin Short in "Mars Attacks!".

So on another thread, (I think) I read a recommendation for the Grimnoir series by Larry Correia, and I wish I had the patience to look for the post, because I need to thank whoever said it!! Amazing stories, kinda like if Captain America and the Howling Commandoes used magic, and WWII was only against the Japanese. Awesome books, just love them!

Stargazer3, I'm glad your daughter enjoyed the book! It sure does make you look at the past differently. I know I would never be able to keep up with Ma in the housekeeping business, and I have electricity and indoor plumbing!

Okay, I've read every Leslie Meier Lucy Stone novel there is, and for some reason, in the last couple, especially this one, French Pastry Murder, Lucy Stone has regressed in morals and values to the 1950's!!
What is going on? You're in Paris, but everything is Murica, f**k yeah, and kill all the Muslims! Then Oh My God!! Your adult daughter is having sex! Before marriage! Get out the smelling salts, Mama's gonna faint! Holy crap, it was so bad I couldn't finish, and it's the very last Leslie Meier I'll ever read.

I am currently on hold to read Pioneer Girl, so in the meantime, I got a book called "The Good Old Days- They Were Terrible!" by Otto Bettmann. Amazing information! It makes you look at all the Little House books quite differently. I'm glad this page exists, by the way! I'm more of a reader than a tv watcher, so this is cool.

Then it could be the Red/Dembe/Donald Show. I totally would be in for that.
Me too

I kind of think Athelstan is an agnostic leaning towards Norse gods rather than Christian.

I don't know about anyone else, but I would totally watch "Tom, SuperSecret Spyguy" if they want to make it a spinoff!

I still don't get the character of the mayor, why is he so important? How does he have so much power over the people who own the town?

I'm pretty sure they weren't rich. They were talking about losing their homes, and living with their adult kids. But that mom is horrendous!! Wow,just mean mouthed.

I totally agree about Santana, she seemed so thrilled when she succeeded! I think Siham will just quit driving, I don't think rehab is really what she needs, more like behavioural therapy for her nerves. Maybe Shamala can help with that. I don't think anyone should have graduated.

My kids are grown up and out of the house, and if I got divorced, I still wouldn't choose a new man who didn't like them!! And they would have to like my granddaughter, too!

I have so many problems with the mother on today's show. Who chooses a man over their own daughter?! This girl needs to get away from all of them, and that stepfather needs a kick in the ass.

It looks like we're not getting Judges' Match here in Canada at all, all the upcoming episodes are the regular ones. I watched it online at www.tvonline.cc, so that might help some people. Sucks though, that we're going to be one episode ahead the rest of the season.

And there was no resolution! Just the usual crap about getting them professional help. I feel bad for their little boy, no-one deserves parents like that. And on a shallow note, was it just me, or did Shawn look like he was sucking a lemon the whole show?

Sept.3, 2014 "A Love Triangle"
Kayla's baby's father refuses to return the child to her unless she dumps her fiance and comes back to him
This episode was totally misnamed, it should've been called " Bitter ex is jealous and is using child as a weapon". Shawn keeps crowing that he has "proof" of the abuse, that the police, cps and Dr. Phil couldn't find. What a loon! -
The tens of thousands of US Civil War re-creators don't seem to agree with you.
I'm pretty sure there are no veterans from that war to be offended. There are from WWII.

Something like a recreation of the storming of Normandy Beach with the Racers playing a role as part of a challenge would have been a far better use of that setting, I believe.
I personally think this would be terribly disrespectful! Treating it like a game is no way to show honour and gratitude.

I know his name is Cochise, but I hear Goat Cheese every time!

Except for George's creation they all had too much of a humanoid aspect for my taste.
Exactly! Did I miss where they said it was an animal. animal, human hybrid? I was thinking along mythological lines, myself. None of these makeups impressed me much.

I would also love if they introduced punishment for behaviour outside of the kitchen. It would be fun to see the reaction if GR eliminated someone on the grounds of things that were said and done outside of service. After all, no employer wants employees poisoning the work climate
I totally agree with this! There's no way Ramsay isn't seeing everything that's being recorded, at least highlights of it. In Kitchen Nightmares, he talks a lot about camaraderie ( sp?) in the kitchen. Most of these people need to realize that to get to the end, you have to be a team first.

The actor playing Yasumoto is really into the scifi/supernatural role. He was on Lost playing the ruler of a secret lair hiding from the Smoke Monster. He is on Helix playing an alien. And now here he is again playing what seems to be an alien. He was and is creepy in all three roles.
I wonder if he'll ever be playing a family man with kids and a dog....and a white picket fence.
He also played a murderous father in "The Wolverine"! He does creepy bad guy really well!

actually thought it was an interesting scene when they showed Scott talking to Andi about how to deal with Gordon - she seemed to take him seriously and I thought that was an interesting move on his part
I agree with this, I'm surprised more cheftestants(?) don't ask Andi or the other sous-chef ( I forget his name, sorry) for advice. They've been with all the prior seasons, so they probably would have a lot of insight.
S05.E09: Reunion
in Falling Skies [V]
I think they should be bold and kill all the humans, and let the aliens win. For me, that would actually rescue this season, because then all the stupidity would be punished. My fear is that this is going to turn out to be some kind of coma, or dream or something that somebody, probably Tom, is having.
