  1. I can't get past how Kenzie and Deeks treat their teenage foster daughter,(forget her name, sorry) like she's a 6 year old! And the way they talk about her is worse, it sounds like she's an infant.
  2. I didn't like this much. I hate that every DC movie is another Suicide Squad, the first one was good, now drop it. I absolutely could not stand Hawkman! So oblivious to what the actual citizens wanted, and he ended up just being another Amamda Waller bully. I did like the Egyptian themes, and I liked some of the CGI. I won't rewatch this one, though.
  3. Yes, absolutely. I did feel lucky that I only had to work with one antiquated belief system, and not all of them! Actually, according to hubs & son, it was a race to the exit before the doors were shut!
  4. No, but they do have prayers throughout the day, they have mass on or around holidays, and they have religion class, which is pretty much the same as catechism. I was okay with it, I'm an agnostic, and hubs is a lapsed catholic, but if you have strong beliefs in a different deity, I would think it would be difficult.
  5. My opinions on this season have been up and down. I agree with everyone saying there's a lot of times just talking to each other would help a lot. I don't think Sheryl loves her family, I think she's been evil for a long time. I also wonder why the other girls don't get jealous of Lexis spending so much alone time with Grandma. Dr. Boggs is a huge disappointment, I was sure he'd be so skeptical about Leland's suggestion that he wouldn't do it. One thing I've never understood, from the first season, is why an atheist and a Buddhist send their kids to catholic school? It seems weird. I love Sister Andrea, but then, I just love Andrea Martin, from way back in the SCTV days.
  6. I think I'm in the minority when I say I don't care if Andy comes back or not. I also would think that, if you're getting almost a million dollars for the business, maybe move somewhere not under a train? Instead of renovating the worst house I've ever seen. It's under a train, for Pete's sake, and the girls share a closet for a bedroom with 1 bathroom! Also, go away Leland, nobody likes you.
  7. So do hubs and I! Great minds think alike!
  8. I was wondering the same thing. There are lots of awful jobs that still need to get done. I doubt they'll ever explain, though.
  9. I did too! Hopefully his next ladyfriend will have talent!
  10. My big 3 from this were; Todd cheering on a murder?! I hope they show if he gets consequences from his wife? (Sorry, forgot her name) Did anyone else think Ryan looks sickly? He's very pale with dark circles around his eyes. And why did Noir see cartoons? Did I miss an explanation in past seasons?
  11. Me too, Red Dawn is still one of my guilty pleasures! The original, of course. I think I'm going against the current in saying this, but I really really disliked Kate Bush back then, and I still do now. I also wish Eleven would learn to use her powers without screaming. I know it's petty and nit picky, but it drives me bonkers! Eddie was exactly the guy I would have been chasing back in the day, love me some headbanging!
  12. Or on a tiny tricycle... I was hoping Owens would stand up for El against Brenner, with the way he talked to her in California. But as soon as I saw her hair I knew his kindness was only an act. Good Papa, Bad Papa.
  13. I feel like some actors don't want to look "silly" so they don't fully commit to the style of the time. Especially if it's about teens. I think most of us followed trends pretty closely from about 12-20. Being an '80's kid, mine were big hair, big shoulders, and big glasses!
  14. I don't know how unpopular this opinion is, but I hate it when 2 leads are "forced" into a romantic relationship. What's wrong with being best friends? I do believe people can be friends without automatically turning it into a will they, won't they situation.
  15. I might not be able to continue watching because this Neville is driving me crazy. I dislike his character so so much. He is just terrible, so annoying, why on earth are they keeping him, and why on earth would he volunteer to stay?! He is just the worst!
  16. I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first 2. I think the WWI setting was too realistic, compared to the more fantastical plots. There were not really any unbelievably over the top villains like Samuel L. Jackson or Julianne Moore, no multi-colour head explosions or gold tattoos. I enjoy realistic war movies, but only if that's what I expected. I was so surprised at the suddenness of Conrad's death I actually said no out loud!
  17. I honestly just love all the wackiness, and seeing everyone acting against themselves was awesome. This is a show that is so, so far from reality your brain can just relax and go with the flow. And I still think Brendan Fraser is a cutie pie.
  18. I love Jane's Underground, it's interesting to see the other selves interact. Cliff's gambling is overblown, and I don't care about Cyborg. I do very much want to know if Larry went back for his larva! 🐛
  19. I don't know how unpopular this is, but I hate that it seems like every single movie and tv show has to have a romance! Especially when there is no rhyme or reason for it. I want to see monsters, fighting and explosions, not sappy looks and long sighs.
  20. This will sound terrible, but one of my pet peeves is that she's a little long in the tooth for a rich weirdo's arm candy. She's beautiful and sexy, but seriously, how many age appropriate trophy wives are there on tv? I really want to learn more about that tail....
  21. That's what I mean. The girls room seriously looks the size of a walk in closet, but the master looks normal. They don't need a mansion, but how about 2 bedrooms, at least.
  22. Do you have to pay for Catholic school in the states? In Canada, at least where I live, we just pay regular school fees like the secular schools. If so, that could be why they live in such a crap seeming neighbourhood. And is it normal for 4 sisters of such different ages to share a bedroom that looks the size of a closet?
  23. This was just Disney's Coco with real people, and way more boring.
  24. And Dukes of Hazzard before that! Fond Friday night sleepover memories!
