Frankie doesn't know every assassin, but she does appreciate their hair. Ha.

I liked seeing the team work together for the first time. Except for Ray of course, who was trying way too hard and doesn't seem to get why Will is still hurt. Frankie sending Ray a clear message that she's pissed off at him on Will's behalf was great. And she sees Will as a partner now, aw.

I had a feeling Karen was playing Will the whole time since she didn't seem to be as freaked out as one would normally be by what happened at the restaurant.

I genuinely love how this show just leans into the tropes, like Frankie and Will having a moment while trapped in the flooding vault. "Your big, dumb heart isn't necessarily your worst quality." And Will's smile under the water.

This show is honestly just a lot of fun.

Yep!! And this week's episode was better than the pilot.  As long as one doesn't take it too seriously this is a great hour of television!!

  2. I can see why Lauren Cohan would pursue this role rather than accept second best in TWD.... this looks like it was fun to shoot whereas TWD just looks like a chore these days.... can’t wait for the next episode...

However, count me as one of those who just don’t get the allure of Scott Foley and/or Bill Lawrence’s HUGE man crush on him....

  3. Beta is gonna be scarier....right??!!

The thing that is really bugging me about The Whisperer's is their insistence that the communities have stumbled onto their territory??!!  These communities have been established for many years now - it's not like they just found new accommodation planted their flag there.

And whilst I'm bitching about stuff that is bugging me why would The Whisperer's reveal themselves at all??  They seemed to have a good way of going about their business (you know eating worms and baby sacrifice) without being seen, so why now??  And Lydia said they were nomadic....just keep moving....no one would have ever known they were there....so stupid.

Oh silly me, every big bad on this show has to be drowned in psychopathy and narcissism and little more....good times.

Whining over....loved The Kingdom bits of the episode.... Papa Jerry... 😍

My first reaction to theJJ/Reid storyline was that it was partially a diversion to cover the fact that they had new love interest for Reid planned, but they had us looking in a different direction, so that we would be surprised.

    One can only hope....

  5. So big bad Negan escapes only to realise there's no one to bash to death, rape or feed him so he surrenders to a child??  So laughable it's sad.....stop trying to redeem the irredeemable....

At least Spencer is still not on the show!

I honestly think Andrew Lincoln left after Chandler Riggs got the boot.

If the Whispers have a territorial issue that's just lame.   They've lived there long enough now. It's their territory.  If anything the Whispers' are the ones who aren't where they belong.  Plus what a played out plot line.

Also I can’t help but wonder why they would even reveal themselves.... if they can exist undetected in and amongst the walkers why step out into the open and expose themselves to potential threats??!!

    Unnecessary and kinda stupid....

  7. Despite my absolute devastation over the death of Jesus that was one hell of a reveal for that whisperer to dodge Jesus and grab him from behind.... what sort of a terrifying mind bend would that be if you had spent the apocalypse disposing if fairly predictable walkers....

  8. Laughed at Michonne telling Rick she hasn’t given up right in front of the still unrepaired bridge.... also that kid is too young to be Rick’s if we’re still working on a 6 year time jump.....

  9. Negan was trolling Maggie, right??

Seriously, after EVERYTHING, she bought that and just walked out??

And I'd say RIP Rick but WTF......was that.....and no one notices a helicopter in the sky in a time where they don't have petrol for cars anymore....you'd think that would stand out over the walker groaning....

  11. I love this show more than any other,  it's top of my list with daylight second.... however, as an Aussie I am not sure I can endure a whole season of butchered Australian accents....I'm gonna have to put on my big girl pants however because this show is the best thing on TV right now!

  12. Ugh.

Penelope's escape had me rolling my eyes so hard I was afraid they might not come back....and the identical hyoid bones...that's just piss poor, lazy art production....and laughable.

  13. They are struggling so badly to keep Josh relevant it feels like we’re watching 2 shows in the space of 21 minutes.... honestly Maggie and Josh could be their own show about long time Brooklyn resident longs for the good old days but slowly comes to love her hipster neighbour as the gentrification takes hold....everything feels rushed - even Lauren the “Creed Bratton” of this show

maybe it's a generational thing-- but I could never imagine talking to the boss the way Kelsey talked to Charles. That snide comment about getting Liza to ask him for the money for the billionaire's book was NOT a good look for her. It was unprofessional and basically some serious mean girl bullshit.

Kelsey is a mean girl....a leopard never changes its spots....
