    It was glorious

If she had watched his interviews with CNN, she would have known that was coming.

Calling out someone who insults people is not a political commentary. It's the right thing to do.

Agree so much with your comment. Missed this week again watching the hearings and have to find all the clips to see what everyone is commenting on!

For the first time ever, Meghan looked less than thrilled when someone (De Niro) mentioned her father.

Why does she read his credits back to him before asking a question?  He knows.  The audience knows.  She always does this.

Robert De Niro is so different on a talk show than he used to be.  He used to be the worst guest, and it was next to impossible for the host to get him to utter more than a few words per question.  It was agony to watch, too.  He still doesn't do talk shows that often, but now he's relaxed, engaging, and downright chatty.

He never would have said, "Can I say just one more thing?" It's so good to see how relaxed and comfortable he is now!

While I agree with Meghan (and the rest of the table) that it was wrong for Gaetz to bring up Hunter Biden's substance abuse problem the other Congressman had every right to bring Gaetz's own past issues.   The Congressman wasn't shaming Gaetz. He was saying those who live in glass houses and all that.

And he did it in the best possible way!

Man, even when I agree with her, I can't agree with her!  I heard on the news this morning that Tom Steyer had made the debate stage and was somewhat appalled.  Talk about buying your way into an election!  But she was so. damn. rude. to him.  And I wasn't even watching, just listening.  I can't believe she wasn't looking at him while asking him questions.  Oh wait.  Sadly, yes I can 😞

Missed lots of shows while watching all the hearings, but am watching today. Mistake. Meghan is so unbelievably rude and childish. I can't think of any other talk show, no matter how heated the discussions are, when someone reacts in the immature, pouty way she does. She could never be on a debate team of any kind. On second thought, maybe it would help her to take a debate course and learn how to disagree in a civil, even if it's heated, manner.

I'd like to know what idiot thought that would be riveting TV.  There's an hour of my life that I'll never get back (I've been watching since day one).  I guess it's proof that screaming fits (today and the Rosie-Elisabeth debacle) are now great must-see TV.

In keeping with the tone today, I wish someone had asked about his useless slaughter of those gorgeous leopards and other animals that he and his brother shot on a hunting trip years ago...

And one day, someone could ask him why he didn't talk to his father for a year, after his parents' divorce.

I have to thank you all for talking about the show, because it's all fire coverage again. I may be able to watch tomorrow.

Right when I decided to wade back in, fires all around here, and I missed her horrible rude attitude. Thought she was told yesterday that they all needed to respect each other's views.

Best of luck on the hip replacement; mine was a BREEZE!  Of course, I compare it to my knee replacement that has given me pain/disability since February '16 ... actually March, because that's when the physical therapy aide broke my femur.  I think the knee would have been fine if not for that.  I have been gimping around on pain meds ever since.  Again, the hip replacement was and is GREAT!

Thank you so much! Uh, both knees have to be replaced, too. This is all the fault of everyone on my mom's side of the family. Have put off the knees as long as possible, but the hip is new. They decided they might as well join in. i will remember your words tomorrow after surgery! Hope your knee gets much better, though. The pain meds dull pain, but they don't eliminate it. Would the doctor give it another try?

Re all the comments on the difference in Joy's appearance. I don't know if she had any cosmetic work or not, but for years she has worn glasses on the show (prior to the cataract surgery and the dark glasses) so you couldn't really notice her eyes or her eye makeup. Now, post surgery, she's not wearing glasses because presumably, she doesn't need them. So it just seems weird to see her without them.  JMO.

Her eye makeup seems much harsher, too. The eyeliner is dark and thick on the top and bottom lid. Spent too much time trying to figure out the difference. M's eyebrows are darker and thicker, too. Hope Joy addresses the mystery!

Talk about hyperbole - that would be Meghan screeching at the top of her lungs that Killibrand bombed last night.

Have to catch up on this week's shows. Finally watching today, and the irony is that as I watched Gillibrand last night, I kept thinking of how much she reminded me of McCain. Voice, tone, and attitude.

I also want to say how wonderful it must be for someone like GW,  just put race and Racism out of his mind just dont talk about. Same for Meghan if you notice she's always incredibly quiet when race is brought up. Even when defending Trump's base. What wonderfully beautiful privilege that must be.

    Sorry, GW pissed me off.

If it doesn't affect them on a personal level, GW and way too many other people have no idea how to even talk about race. They either ignore it, or dance around it. It's the dismissive attitude that makes me angry.

Totally agree!!!  What was is that he said that Ana responded "Oh, George"?  I've always had a soft spot for George, but he tends to be slightly pedantic.

Slightly? Many times I have had to look up words after he finishes speaking! Don't agree with him, except on Trump, but respect his skill with language.

Haven't seen him yet today and have to catch up on all of this week's programs. Too bad today is taped. So much to say about Iran and Trump.

This has to have been prerecorded. No mention of Sarah Sanders?

They seem to be taping four days a week now, and I can't figure out why, unless I misunderstood wherever I read that.

Her response would be the party isn't the problem the defectors are the problem.

Meghan is all over the place when she talks about her party.  She doesn't think it's the party of Trump. She doesn't think Ana is representative of her party.  WTF does Meghan think is her party?

There's no room in her mind for nuance or shades of any color in her "reasoning" ability.

Joy is radical left??  Really Meghan?  And please stop saying “I will say”...just say it.  And with a D senator I’m not sure AZ is a deep red state any longer.  And her examples are pretty basic that many people on both sides support (e.g. strong military, patriotic, etc) though I think small government and pro life are contradictory.  Loved Ana speaking up as she actually thinks about things and what she stands for as a Republican.  And she is the old time republican when that  party actually worked for the country and stood for actual values.  And she’s right..this is the trump party now and you have to bow down.  Meghan needs to listen sometimes and actually think rather than spout crap.  This is not the Republican Party those of us who grew up in the 50’s and 60’s knew, nor the party her father knew.  It’s a very different party that Ana can’t identify with and Meghan is the poster child for...abortion and gun rights are their most important issues.

When George Will and so many others leave the Republican party, Meghan should realize that it is no longer the same party. Someone should give her a list of everyone who has left to see what she says.

Wait!!  Just as easy as it truly is, its a procedure on your EYES so you want to research some. Its not 100%  there can be problems.  I dont quite understand it but something to the effect of his BP so they had to put a band on one eye and let me tell you, it has frecked him up royally. Now take my mom, she went a few months later, in and out, not a single issue. I plan to do it myself in the future.  Just be careful.

This applies to any surgery, too. Everyone has to research and discuss it with their doctor before making any medical decision. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee for the outcome of any surgery.

Buckeye, don't put it off. The difference in your vision is so worth it. (What Joy was trying to say about sepia with one eye vs bright colors with the other.)  There is zero pain and the results are immediate. It's really easy.

Just saw this in the other thread and I agree 100%.  Blind as a bat most of my life. Had glasses and contacts. Had the surgery with implants. First thing I saw after surgery was a clock on a wall 50 feet away. I couldn't believe I could SEE!!! No glasses. No contacts. I will never forget the sight of that beautiful clock. Go for it!!

Lol, yes she thinks she's doing some kind of service by living in NYC. She could be living in Arizona in just as much luxury but no cameras. And the reality is that's what it's about for Meghan.

I turned it off. You will see why, when you watch. She's not even overly obnoxious. It's everything that is not being talked about and the bending the knee that whoopi is doing.

She's not overly obnoxious? That's a good sign. She's always a sycophant to Whoopi, but one day, she'll go too far.

    Your welcome.

The pizza order cracked me up. It even sounded like a pizza Meghan would order. 😂

Laughed at that one, too, and the "Your mother has a house or five in Arizona." She has alienated just about everyone. Can't see it here until 45 more minutes!
