Joy's love message she wrote on the tile - "Austin Martyn Forsyth, I ❤ U...like soooo much!  Your sweetie, Ethyl"

    1.  That looks like something a 14-year-old would write on their school notebook.  It seems no Duggar girl can form a sentence without the word like.

    2.  Ethyl?

    Wtf? Like??? Like soooo much????

  2. Oh, that just gave me the worst flashback. When my son was two, he tripped over a toy and cut his face (next to his eyebrow,) on another toy on the floor (yeah, too many toys...) Anyhow, it took Mr. Bean, myself, and two nurses  to hold him down (screaming and petrified) while the doctor stitched him up. Poor baby. That sucked.

  3. I was doing some serious hate watching tonight. The couple with three young kids looking for a $500,000 - $600,000 in Peoria...could that woman have been any more hateful? Husband is so whipped. I was yelling at the tv for him to grow a pair. Her insistence on a white kitchen, all bedrooms on the same level, but not a ranch, mind you! Because husband wanted a ranch! And we can't have that!  So the house they chose had a beautiful kitchen, which they gutted, because it wasn't white. And the island wasn't huge enough. Wretched excess. What a waste! (and what a waste of my nerves, lol.)

  4. WHY OH WHY do I keep watching this  show? I'm really done with the bitchy brides. "I deducted points because I don't like big, traditional venues."  "I didn't like the goat cheese at the cocktail hour." "The centerpieces were too plain/large/small/tacky." And some of the brides give very low scores for overall experience. I've seen them give great weddings where everyone had fun a 4, I suppose to "improve their own chances." I do like weddings, but perhaps in the future I should watch it on mute!

I don't think I've seen Jessa in another pair of shoes other than those lame sandals since Jill's wedding.

Love Jinger's shoes. And at least Kendra tried, unlike most of her futrue SILs. I sitll think Joy has Cowboy boots under there. She's not an inch shorter than Jill and her flip flops, more like three.

I like Jinger and Jana's shoes. The rest leave something to be desired. I don't mind if the dresses aren't all exactly alike. I'm not a fan of wedding parties where the bridesmaids are completely matchy matchy down to their jewelry, shoes, etc. (I know a lot of people do like that look, though.) Having said that, is Jinger  wearing a turtleneck? Jill is a complete fail.

One of my aunts actually had a full breakfast in the church hall after her wedding followed by a full dinner at the reception that evening with a couple hundred guests for each.

Had to chime in to say my parents did that, too. It was mid 1950's, their families were not well-off, so maybe it was a "thing" at the time. Come to think of it, though, my mom was the youngest in her family, and we all know how spoiled they are. ???

Are you sure the reception lasted until 5:00 am and not just that the video was posted then?

The guests really dressed down for that reception, didn't they?  Strangely, I don't see many Duggars there and that is their home.  Well, I'm sure the guests all bellied up to the bar for a shot of Duggar Kool-Aid, but there doesn't appear to be much to eat.

How is this even possible at a dry wedding?

    (1) where did you get your dress?

    (2) are you still married, and how long has it been?

    (1) Gimbel's, knee length ivory lace, definitely less than $100, picked it out and paid for it myself. We had a smallish wedding and honestly, I wish we'd had a bigger & more traditional party with the gown and all the trimmings.

    (2) Having said that, we celebrated our 35th anniversary last December. :)

I think they should change the name from "Real Housewives of New York" to "Desperate Menopausal Women Looking for Hook-Ups in New York".  Ramona's desperation at being single and getting older is reeking from her so bad that I could practically smell it through my TV.  Sonja is quietly desperate, and is seriously envious of her younger room mate, Tinsley - who is having fun, but coming off desperate, dating a 23 yr. old.

OTOH - I thought that Dorinda looked stunning at her charity event.

Also - I've been trying to figure out what is weird about Bethenny's talking heads (with the flat hair and purple top) - her face looks kind of "off-kilter"...and I realized that her face during those talking heads looks like it did when she was pregnant.

    Ha!

This has come up before, I think, that Ramona looks bad. I cringe just looking at her. I think we have certain expectations. Our Housewives are mostly attractive. I can't say that's true of Ramona anymore.

  10. I'm glad she didn't get hurt. She may have insisted on walking up. I think many people feel embarrassed when they do something like that and just want to move on and not draw more attention than they already have. (Unfortunately I speak from personal experience, lol)

  11. I like Jeremy better in the After pic. Something about the Before pic...I don't know...does he look like a wax statue...what is it?? On the right...looks kinda cute (if you take his personality out of the equation.) Is Jessa really so busy she can't work out? She's too young to look so out of shape. I mean, if she wants to still be the hot one. Or maybe that ship has already sailed.
