(And Kaylee) and the other girls don't know anything but what BME and her hunk tell them. Even the Amish, who Jillybean so admires, let's their kids out to see what the world is like! Jill would never allow that!

Exactly.   AndKaylee only knows how to parent from what Jill has modeled.   She doesn't know any other way.   She hasn't been allowed to see any other way.   Hopefully, Heidi ,who seems to have been raised in a non completely bat guano home, can model better parenting.    She and Timmy seem to have already drawn some boundaries that they are enforcing with Jill, let's see if it continued when the babies start arriving.

I think Jilly forgets that Jesus does not like liars.

Sneaking into places you don't belong is a form of lying too.   I may not be as dogly as Jill, but I know if I'm not supposed to be there, I don't go.

What an awful video. These two are terrible actors. I feel badly for them for being so brainwashed.

And the kids don't know its wrong because Jill never taught them different.   Oh big sign "Hotel Guests Only" that's only suggestion, we're only going to be here for a minute.

  3. 6 is awfully old for a first visit.   If they are on medicaid, it covers dental for kids.   Because we figured out not taking care of teeth leads to a lot of other issues.

Not gonna dunk on Kaylee and Jonathan for going to Applebees.  They are young, don't have a lot of money (because Jill takes it all).   If it was time out for the two of them without the baby and Jill and DBD crashing it, I hope they had fun.

Jill has mentioned they have considered giving up the grift tours. I suspect she sees the end is near for sympathy donations when the rods show up with many "adult children' who should be working, or they have just the 6 girls left.

Also the rv is on its last legs and no one seems to be willing to give them a new one.   She knows their ability to take the whole family along to look sad and pathetic is limited then.

t seems strange to me that she tries so hard to level up with Plexus to be able to get on the trip list, but has no intentions of ever going.  I suppose it's enough for her to cut and paste herself into the brochures to let everyone know that she COULD go if she wanted to.

Prestige -- look what I qualified for -- and you can too if you sell this crap.   Also she can feel superior to those who didn't get to go, without having to actually spend any money.   Feeling superior is Jill's reason for being.

  5. Jill won't even apply for the passport.   You have to pay the fee up front.   She won't spend money on something she can't show off like her 10 billion tchotkes.    Plus the airfare cuts into her grift money for other vacations.   If she goes to Punta Cana she really be able to afford only one vacation a year.   Jilly can't have that.

(When Hubby and I renewed our passports, we went to the post office.   Got them back in a month which surprised us, we didn't really need them for an upcoming trip along the Great Lakes but by getting them in time we had the option then of being able to go to Canada if we wanted).

  6. Timbits is getting excited for the wedding night now that he allowed front hugs.   He's trying to keep his thoughts pure though.

As for Nathan of the Bottomless Wallet, I would thing a preacher wouldn't be available for travel at Christmas, but the whole lot of them thing they are extra special so who knows.

Yes, Kaylee moved up because she didn't move away and still lets Mahmo run her life.   Nurie lost points by living in Florida and not having the Keller connection move Mahmo into higher fundie circles.

  7. We will hear how EXCITED Jill is to go to Punta Cana for about a month and a half.   Then riiiiight before trip, she will either get sick again or some kid will have an emergency and she just won't be able to go.   Just like the cruise.

As for the "mock" Christmas, way to figure out how to get twice as many presents Jill.   Because since this is the "mock" Christmas she will still expect lots and lots of stuff for real Christmas.   Especially because she will be so "heartbroken" the married kids are with their in-law families instead of her, she will need presents to make up for it.

Jill is really trying to level up in plexus huh. Kaylee and Rene. Heidi will probably sell under her own mom?

Can’t these people work in Walmart? They all sell plexus lol.

Jill is really irked she didn't get the cruise this year.   That's won't happen again.   No one puts Jill in a corner.

As for Heidi, I don't think she will be selling plexus because

. Heidi has bigger cojones than him

A lot of these fundies are into MLM because it lets them promote the belief that this is just a little something Mom can do while still being a terrific Mom and Wife.   Also self-supporting and not dependent on the ebil government for assistance (while they all take food stamps and have medicare).

(nothing against food stamps and medicare, but don't call the government ebil out of your mouth while holding out your hand for government money)

  9. I get Kaylee going along with this.   It's all she has ever known -- Momma runs things.   But Jonathan should know better.   He needs to  put his foot down, and take back the key he no doubt gave to Jill.   I just can't get over how hard he has drunk the Jill kool-aid (which sounds gross put that way but you know what I mean).

Nathan hates social media so Nurie will never get a page.  She's far enough away that Nathan can assert his headship.

I think they might be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of people not to mention Jill's manic behavior.

Definitely part of it, but they don't seem any different in the pictures Nurie sends from Florida.

Definitely at home in Florida they don't have a thundering herd in the house.   Its pretty much just Nurie, Nathan and the two boys.   The Kellers don't seem to be into spending time with their grown children or expecting the ones close by to always be together.   They are pretty much focused on their own activities (which is as bad as Jill in its own way, its still the same selfish, self-centered behavior, its just not as LOUD).

But at home, you know they are beating any independence out of the children.   Why would you smile if you know any sign of joy or happiness will result in a beating?

Those poor kids.   Although I have to laugh that Nurie planned poorly with two older boys.    She is going to be stuck raising the first girl all by herself, until that girl is old enough to care for all the other kids.    At least Anna Dugger got the order right in their world.

It’s sad, really. As much as these people claim to read their Bibles, you’d think they’d remember all the times sibling rivalry caused problems: Cain and Abel, Jacob and Esau, Jacob’s kids. Of course, the way they look at it, they probably think those stories turned out well. Also, they’re barely literate people trying to comprehend the KJV, so….

Makes me think of my sweet grandma. Her biggest goal as a mother was that her four children would love each other and get along, without jealousy or competition and she continued that philosophy with her grandchildren. Healthy competition is fine, but mean-spiritedness and resentment are not. With some of these fundies, it seems to be encouraged. I get along great with my sisters and my nephew and nieces are all super-close. I would think the Rod way would be very stressful and anxiety-inducing!

Easier to control.   If the kids can't unite together against the parents and are competing for attention/love from the parents they are more willing to do what the parents want in the way the parents want.

See Jill Duggar who was trying SOOOOO hard to please Daddy.   And look how he treated her for actually finding standing on her own.
