  1. For anyone who wants to see deleted scenes with JJ and Spencer from The Forever People - clickety click: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nja6Vza0R7k They should not have cut them.
  2. Maybe he's trying to look like Ellen again. lol
  3. Unless he just had them, from his mother's personal book stash, and I can totally see him rummaging through olde timey, obscure dusty bookstores looking for that one copy of La Nausée by Jean-Paul Sartre where the main theme is existential angst. But yes, his aversion to computers is sort of new and really inconsistent. One day Penelope is passing out tablets and Reid whines "We've gone digital?", and she answers "Don't worry, here's a paper file for Dr. Luddite..." or something like that. And wasn't that just a couple of seasons ago? Yet there he was in 200 helping Penelope in that purple room trying to hack stuff. And earlier on he had no trouble at all. Going through Nathan Harris's computer, Owen Savage's emails, etc... So either he waffles back and forth, has no qualms about using tech on the job, or the writers are just dumb. Maybe an amalgam of all three?
  4. I really don't see it as a competition. This show gets what - six episodes? Then what? I'd be okay with them doing this every hiatus. Giving us six new episodes of different people, families or groups, friends, coworkers, whatever. Seeing how they cope, seeing who they are. Is that even the plan? Or did they just make six of these and that's it? I do really want to know what started this virus. Does anyone know what the deal is, moving forward?
  5. Precisely. We knew nothing of his relationship with Alex Blake before she came to the BAU, so there's nothing to say they couldn't fill in his backstory somewhat with other friends/acquaintances that we've yet to be introduced to. As far as him having fans? Well we know that he "never has any normal fans", haha. So it's entirely possible that he does.
  6. But "they" isn't a collective. Sharon writes Reid really well, so does Jim, in my opinion. Let's just hope they don't give any Spencer-centric episodes to Kim! From what I hear, although I really don't have an opinion on this yet - Bruce Zimmerman is incredibly intelligent. From what I've seen him write of Reid, it isn't the worst, by far. I'm excited to see what they do this season. One month and six days to go!
  7. They've been stepping up their game, there. The number of boats on the lake, reading War and Peace in the original Russian before breakfast, the origin of fairy tales, the walk-through of the crash site, the smackdown of that guy who ran the tunnels... am I the only one that remembers these, and many other, Reid moments from the past few seasons? They know he's a genius. They just need reminders that we know. That we expect it.
  8. I just want to see Reid be happy with someone entirely. Not someone he's never touched, not someone who he'd be constantly explaining things to, not a supermodel, not a victim. Maybe someone he meets at Starbucks, you know? And it isn't about not trusting the writers for his love interest, it's about them getting him just right. He'll be somewhat shy, but he's a man, not a boy. And he knows what he loves and what he's good at. If the writers can remember this (step away Breen... just step. away.), then I really want to see it. And frankly I don't care if it is a man or a woman, as long as it's done with as much care and concern as the character Spencer has earned. He's earned it, he has. Give him a real love.
  9. Gloria's Shrug is oh so surprised by the furor she's caused, and now feels abandoned. But not really. She knows her destiny awaits.
  10. I liked Einstein, a lot. I think she did her best with what she was given, and she made an impression of the viewers. I'm also still hopeful they can get Jane Lynch. It could be that this was a red herring to throw us off the scent, or a move to squash disappointment when and if they can't actually get her. I don't think we'll ever know how "hard" they tried to get her.
  11. How about "Fear, itself."
  12. Jordan Catalano, is that you?
  13. That's two votes for the clean hair. Bust out the Pantene, show.
  14. About the Nick + clothes thing - I just got the impression he doesn't give a shit what he wears as long as he's not cold. And I think the old man's clothes were more of a getaway disguise/convenience than any kind of real couture choice. I do hope he showers soon. Before he, or any of them, can't any more. Would be nice to see him with clean hair.
  15. I was going to say! Don't they remind anyone else of Tim and Lila - AND THEN YOU GO BY LILA! lulz
  16. Things I liked: Seeing Joanie Stubbs and Daya's Mom Nick is a good actor Walker damage by truck - twice Lil chubster with the knife The principal listening to Joanie Stubb's handsome boyfriend teaching Things I didn't: Way too slow Too much boring Joanie Stubb's handsome boyfriend is too good to be true - usually a death sentence Fine Cal was a shitheel dealer and is now undead There's more but going to rewatch now. I expected more from this group of producers, writers, etc. It's not like they don't know this world. Come on. The writers could really benefit from watching Shaun of the Dead to see how to reveal a ZA slowly in 90 minutes, while still keeping it ominous, funny, scary at the same time.
  17. I was all "How did Daya's mom get out of Litchfield?"
  18. Nick's gonna be the eventual hero. He'll fight his drug demons, overcome them, and lead a bunch of ragtag survivors.
  19. I thought she was gonna smack him.
  20. Didn't he say it hasn't really been decided yet? I'd love a Talking Dead for Fear.
  21. He reminds me sometimes of Spike from Buffy - tries to be all malevolent and sinister but just keeps screwing everything up and in the process, becoming almost comical.
  22. Ha ha I know! "I'm sorry he felt he couldn't handle the stories..."
  23. I hope you're right that it just is the makeup, smoker. Part of Hotchner's identity to me is his perfectly lined face! I don't know if this was ever posted here but I came across it and it just fueled the flames (ahem) of my Gibson love: http://parade.com/241391/scottneumyer/thomas-gibson-talks-criminal-minds-mandy-patinkin-and-missing-comedy/
