  1. I really liked it. This is my first time watching a soap from the very beginning which I thought was pretty cool. I loved how the family had each others backs. Ashley seemed so far removed from the rest of the show, but I’m sure we’ll see her interact with Nicole since she’s a doctor and on IMDB I see there’ll be more hospital related characters. Bill is shady as hell, and I’m here for it! looking forward to tomorrows ep.
  2. He’s right to be concerned about her being around Sonny while people are actively trying to kill him. Is it realistic to expect Kristina to avoid Sonny? No, but the concern is valid. Remember his uncle was almost killed because he was standing too close to Sonny. So I get his concern. Another valid concern is will Kristina be able stick to clear cut boundaries after the child is born. He’s not the only person who has expressed that very valid concern (hello Alexis). Constantly asking Kristina about her rest and food choices are over the top, but I’m not ready to label him a misogynist.
  3. Wow! lol! I don’t completely agree with TJ’s pov, I think it’s over the top. But I do think he has valid concerns. I also think this could be a manifestation of his grief over the first surrogate’s miscarriage. However if they (writers) make TJ a full on misogynist that would be wildly out of character. That orange was just gorgeous on her! I love love love Nina and Drew right now. They both just spark with each other and the actors look like they’re having fun! When Nina said, “Curtis before you get in bed with Drew…” I loved how Drew waited with bated breath wondering how she would finish that sentence 😜.
  4. I loved every. single. story today! Nina & Drew: Fun! I’m diggin them right now. Not looking for a super couple in them, I’m jus enjoying a couple of adults with sparks and chemistry. TJ, Molly, Christina: I thought each person had good points! Drew & Curtis: I’m interested in seeing where this goes. I like Drew in the role of a mogul, much more interesting then Navy Seals Drew. Alexis & Natalia: Oh how I loved watching the mama bear awaken in Alexis. Good acting NLG!! Deception: Comedy relief. Aiden & Elizabeth: Looks like Aiden is being bullied and the actor is good at playing meek. The story has potential. Curtis & Portia: I kinda felt like Portia was shading Curtis a bit. “I thought the Savoy was your life’s dream?!” What was unspoken was “and before that a detective, and before that a cop…”. Maybe she feels like Curtis is too old to be hopping from one career to the next? Anyway this week GH has been pretty good!
  5. Also speaking of actors getting cut, where has Cyrus been?! I like him. What I think they should do is wrap up the stories for Sonny, Carly, Felicia, Mac, Jordan, Laura, Kevin, Anna, Lucy, Alexis I mean we’ve seen them go through everything a human could possibly go through. Keep them as sounding boards and drag them out on holidays. Sam, Dante, Liz, Maxie, Jason, Nina, Drew, hell even Spinelli can be in stories as they relate to their kids. Again these characters have been through just about everything now time for the kids (teens up to the 40’s) to have a shot. Much as I can’t stand Michael and Willow, bring on others in their age group for them to interact with. For that reason keep Christina, Molly, and TJ. Maybe keep Sasha and the cowboy (can’t think of his name). Bring on people in Trina and Joss’ age group. Bring back Valentin’s daughter. I liked her and soaps can always use a sociopath. Someone up thread said we need new blood and I completely agree!!! Just because Sonny, Laura, Anna, Carly, etc were exciting 30+ years ago and just because we fell in love with their characters and still love them, doesn’t mean the time doesn’t come at some point to relegate them to back burn.
  6. My first memory of watching GH was back in 1977, I was six. I can’t speak for that time period but by the late 80’s early 90’s I was used to characters rotating from front line stories to back burn stories. I even remember the back burn stories would come on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And then right when the front burn story was wrapping up, the back burn story was just starting to take off. For instance for a long time my faves were Sean, Tiffany, Felicia, Mac, Lucy, and Doc. While their stories were in the front, Sonny, Brenda, Lois, Ned, L&B were more back burn. I wasn’t watching for them but by the time their story became front and center I was interested because of all the building and layering their stories did on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hope this is making sense. Then you always had the characters who never had a front line story like Amy, Brian, Claudia, Dan, Gail, Lee, Ruby, Ramsey (until they made him Mr. Big), Epiphany, Diane, these characters seem to be meant only to be glorified extras who support other character’s stories. Every once in a while they get a little story but it’s never a front burner. i think more balance would be to rotate stories the way I remember. I think that way the characters get to build chemistry, layers are peeled back, connections are richer and deeper. But maybe that way of soap story telling is outdated and too slow 🤷🏾‍♀️
  7. And I was just starting to like him. Please don’t doom him to becoming a Carly.
  8. I saw the same thing!!! It would be very soapy!!
  9. I know this is probably a bad look, but I like seeing relationships with good chemistry, even if it doesn't make much sense based on prior storylines so I don't mind a bit of a re-write with Sonny and Kristina. I love how she's such a daddy's girl with him and I think their chemistry is nice.
  10. I'm starting to think the new writing team wants to dial back all the Sonny love by people who are supposed to be "good" (Laura, Anna, even Joss). It's a little ridiculous that everyone (except Cyrus) sees Sonny as one of the good guys. I hope this trend continues, and extends to Jason. There will always be mob apologists but I for one don't think it should be the entire cast. Though I don't like Joss, I think ER has been killin it. I think the actress should try branching out, it could be a boon for the actress and a plus for those who can't stand the character. I'm starting to like John.
  11. I agree, I don’t think it made much difference with the indoor palette, the color was still blue. I’m not sure why they went with that bright yellow door!! If they’re gonna paint the front door I’d think a matching gray would look better.
  12. I’m addicted to this show right now. I didn’t start watching til summer 2023 and there’s still shows I haven’t watched. My favorite zombie flippers are the Orlando group. I love the houses they feature in Orlando, I like mid century ranches. Tampa used to be my 2nd fave but with some of the changes they’re making I haven’t completely warmed up. Then there’s Dallas. Chauncey is entertaining…in small doses. Back to Orlando, I miss Ashley, Justin, and Marley but I do like Alynne’s designs. Duke is ok in small doses. Keith is a goof, but I like him 😊. I think Orlando’s only been featured once in season 6. I hope there’s more of them to come. You can find it on Hulu, search 20/20.
  13. Omg ok I was thinking the same thing especially with Dolmar’s wife popping up in season 6 but after further investigation, Dolmar calls himself Chocolate Honey 🙄😆 After watching yesterday’s show it appears Sam is no longer on. I like Dolmar’s wife but I liked Sam too. Why not have all four?
  14. Re: Palmer house, the back unit is currently listed to rent for $2850/mo, down from $3700!! I can’t tell if it’s ever been sold and it doesn’t appear to have ever been rented!!
  15. I don’t want them to blow up Nina and Ava’s friendship and I certainly don’t want Ava with someone she has to cowtow to #Sonny. If they don’t put Nina and Sonny back together I wouldn’t mind a Nina/Valentin redux. Where is Ms. Wu?!! They need to bring her back.
