I found myself liking Jordan last night even though I was trying my best not to like him at all. He was so take charge and knew just what to do to handle the situation. He was very ready to help Hanna and he was so understanding and supported her 100%. He's more mature and wants her to move on with her life and do that with him. I love it that his family loves her; it sounds life she could have a very happy life. The flip side is that she is clearly not as sure of herself about him as he is with her. He's a nice guy and deserves a whole hearted commitment from whomever he marries. I don't know if Haleb is a good match any longer even though I really liked them during Season 1. I definitely felt no chemistry between Caleb and Spencer, though.

Oh my gosh, I laughed out loud when I read this! Our dog came in to see what was wrong with me. :-) I've found Prime to be helpful in the short run, like when I melted my Kindle by leaving it on a hot stove and needed a replacement Kindle fast (the stove didn't do so well after that either). Super Saver works best when the need is definite but not imminent, like when A built a dollhouse and needed super sized doll furniture but not until the building was completed. I have no idea who A is, but I agree that his wealth of information is staggering. The guy must be nearly omnipotent. I tell you, though, I think his knowing the girls' dress sizes was seriously weird. Is he a secret closet fetishist who feels compelled to read labels as he visits the girls' closets in the dead of night? I admire that he took into account that all this stress probably made the girls lose some weight. I mean the dresses fit to perfection. Maybe he should go to SCAD instead of Aria. Which reminds me, when did we learn that Aria is an excellent artist? SCAD is a hugely difficult school to get into and you have to submit portfolios of your work as well as having excellent academics. We never saw Aria draw so much as a stick figure and we know she's no gift to academics. They make it sound like SCAD is a sort of consolation prize school when in fact it's a top tier art and design school that only accepts the best students. I can't see Aria getting anywhere near being accepted there. On the other hand, I'd bet she takes second to no one when it comes to sharpening pencils. Hm. Well clearly I needed a little humor to help me get past my irritation at not only the waste of time of the episode, but also my idiocy at partly buying into Marlene's nonsense about this finale having a big reveal about A. Will I never learn? I guess, against my better judgment, that I'm just a naturally hopeful person. Drat.

Help me out here. I thought that Jason was Spencer's half brother; her father's child with Mrs. Di Laurentis. If that's the case, how could the video with two little blonde boys and a little girl playing together fit? Mrs. Di Laurentis had twins with Mr. Hastings? And they were blonde? And they played with Ali when she was very young? And Andrew is Jason's twin, (who must be fraternal because they're definitely not identical)? And one of them broke her arm (I missed that. How did she get her arm broken?)? Andrew looks much older than Jason to me. What hole did Andrew crawl out of and when? I'm totally lost here. Help!

Yes, that was my take, too. It seemed like a sweet end to that story with the souls of the ghosts he freed saying goodbye. At least that's how I read it. The problem is that the most obscure, forgotten references/events will suddenly crop up and bewilder all of us. Maybe the leaders of the lightning bugs will turn out to be in league with Big A and attack the girls in the doll house. Stranger things have happened on PLL.

I really disliked the nicknames the couples were given because they were so contrived. On the other hand, it does save time from typing out Hanna and Caleb and Spencer and Toby, etc. :-) I disagree about Hanna and Caleb in that I think they have the healthiest, closest and just plain fun relationship of the bunch. I would think that with everything that was going on, they would turn to each other even more and become closer. A physical relationship (I'm just talking about a hug and kiss here) makes sense in light of all that has happened and how they've shared everything. Hanna was wonderful (!) about listening to Caleb's pretty out there story about Ravenswood and helped him come to grips with what happened. Now Caleb's being wonderful about Hanna's predicament and I think that indicates a growing relationship. I just wonder about the apparent lack of chemistry. Maybe I'm just being an overzealous romantic (but darn it, I still want a kiss in there! :D ) I think I read that Ms. King said that things would really heat up between Hanna and Caleb soon. She was answering a fan's question. I agree that, going by the content of the shows to date, the writers just wouldn't have the brains to intend to write such an interesting idea about Caleb and Hanna vs. Jason and Ali. I appreciate the poster here who thought it out and came to that conclusion, though. I don't see it that way since the boy/girl relationship and the brother/sister relationship are like comparing apples and oranges to me, but I'm impressed with anyone who works through a scenario and comes up with a theory that he/she can back up intelligently. Logic and this show seem generally mutually exclusive. While I'm thinking about Ravenswood, what do you think was the significance of the lightning bugs at Caleb's house at the end of the episode where he tells Hanna everything and finally can sleep without being drunk? Will the come up again or were they just a plot device to plug that movie?

I so agree! If this show got any darker I'd have to adjust the brightness level on my TV just to be able to watch it. I really miss the "good old days" when, for example, Caleb was adorably happy and he and Hanna were acting like young people in love. Am I right that the last time we saw him kiss her was when he came back from Ravenswood? Except for the scene at the jail where he told her he loved her I haven't heard that phrase in a long time; and Hanna didn't even respond.The darker the show gets the more disjointed it seems and much harder to watch. So much from past seasons needs to be explained/tied in that it's ridiculous to keep adding more complications. Things are confusing enough! Although, considering the awful things that have happened, it might be a lot safer for them just to hang out in the dollhouse for a season or two. It looks like a lovely house. ;-)

I've enjoyed reading everyone's comments, thoughts, theories and general opinions. I had not noticed any recent comments on the relationship between Caleb and Hannah. It seems as though all the guys and girls became more like best friends than boy and girl friends. They used to be so physical and loving and caring about each other. Now the caring is still there but it's more like a close friendship than a love relationship. For example, when Caleb came to Hannah's house to tell her that the police were on their way to arrest her, there was no loving hug and kiss as he came in the door to give her major bad news, and there were no reassuring hugs after he had told her the bad news. What the heck?! Hugs should have been absolutes with that! We've seen them together a lot over the last season, but where's the fun and teasing and hugs and kisses and all that we had in Season 1? I loved the old twinkle eyed Caleb who was so delighted with Hannah. I know he had to have been changed by his experiences at Ravenswood, but even when he first came back and was so badly traumatized, he held Hannah and kissed her. I recognize that PLL has gotten seriously dark and that that atmosphere might influence the relationships to some extent, but I would hate to see them ending up really close friends, and with Caleb just being the big brother the rest of the Liars never had. Oh, and for Pete's sake, let's not have a Caleb/Spencer romantic relationship just to confuse things (even more) and add filler material. I haven't seen "The Melody Lingers On" yet so I don't have anything to say about it but I was very interested in what everyone said in comments about other episodes with all the ridiculous research mistakes the writers had made in the science, law, timing and so on. It gets really frustrating. The lawsuits in Rosewood that would have come from all the dumb things that happened on that show would need a whole separate season to cover!
