I have loved seeing more of Lucy, Scott and Tracy. They need actual storylines though. Jason and Sam might have malaria. One of the symptoms is lethargy. There are, like, millions of jokes that can be made here. I loved Finn and Hayden today. Can I get a Finn/Hayden/Nik/Ava quad? Franco's painting of Liz looked nothing like her.

I wish I could be more positive about today's episode, but alas. Someone (Nancy of course let's not kid ourselves here) should tell Kelly Monaco that Nyquil is for after work, not before. Jason tells the group he thinks he can probably fly a plane and they all just hop aboard. When Ava sanely objects, they turn on her like she's blasphemed God. What the f---? Yes, pointless Claudette and her weird facial tics can leave. Please take Nathan too. Sonny and Alexis scenes were pretty good. They work as bickering, yet mostly friendly co-parents/friends. These writers tend to do a lot better with the one-on-one scenes than with these big adventure stories or convoluted love quadrangles.

Elizabeth and Franco continue to charm me. The Franco and Heather scenes were good. The Finn and Hayden scenes are good until he starts being a jerk every five minutes. I didn't think I'd care about Hayden and Liz's potential relationship, but I like the way they are weaving Naomi/Heather/Jeff/Raymond/Hayden/Liz/Franco all together. It's got my attention for now. The Naomi actress has really grown on me. Why does Kristina have to talk to her father about her sexuality and sex life one foot away from the tangled sheets where she had sex with Parker? Alluding to it would have been fine, but outright telling him that she had sex with Parker last night, and then Sonny looking at the bed....Eeek! Call me old-fashioned, but why can't they both pretend that neither of them has sex? That's what healthy parent-child relationships are about. Cassadine Island was okay. Surprised they let anyone but Jason and Sam get one over on Valentin. Good for Lulu.

I did not like Rebecca Budig as Greenlee on AMC, but I do like her as Hayden. I surprisingly like Michael Easton's Finn as well, and I think the two have chemistry and very much like their scenes. Another surprising pair I continue to like is Elizabeth and Franco. I think they have the best chemistry of any pair on this show at the moment. I've enjoyed them since they first started sharing scenes. I'm also liking Kevin/Laura and, to a lesser extent, Kiki and Dillon. I was enjoying Nik/Ava before Nik re-died. The new couplings are kicking established couplings butt. For me anyway.

Cassadine Island: is this a hostage situation, or a tea party? How boring. Dr. Finn is both sick from the disease and addicted to the drug keeping him alive. There are layers!

Theo dropped the fake accent. I can unclench now. Well, that was quick.... I hate Claudette. If she widens her giant eyes any more, they're going to swallow her head whole. Are Laura and Kevin kind of cute, or am I drunk? And from earlier in the week: Finn/Hayden/Tracy are delightful. Maura West's Ava is the only reason the Cassadine Island story hasn't sunk. Liz and Franco are totes adorbs (serial killer / shmerial killer).

Bree Williamson is trying too hard to be a bad girl. Girl, stop. And Ryan Paevy can't act. This is going to be a long summer unless she's just here to kill Nathan, then off herself. Has Julian always had psychotic tendencies? They are laying it on thick. I half expect him to rape her next. God.

I like the newer 'couples' like Nik/Ava, Franco/Liz, Finn/Hayden, Kiki/Dillon, and Laura/Kevin so much more than the so-called money couples like Sonny/Carly and Jason/Sam.

Jason and Sam have to be the most dull, unexciting, dry couple I've ever seen. I'd literally rather watch paint dry than watch them whisper in monotones. All they do is judge everybody while wearing matching biker wear. Yawn. I like Dr. Finn. He's odd in a fun way. The hospital story is a welcome break from Corinthos Hospital. The preview shows Elizabeth with Franco. Good, because somehow those two are interesting together. She seems to drop her butter wouldn't melt in my mouth routine with him. Roger and Becky have chemistry. I am dreading a storyline between Bree W/Molly B/Nathan P & the priest. That literally sounds like torture.

Gosh, it pains me to say this. I really like Alexis, but am looking forward to seeing Anna call her out for blindly protecting Julian, especially after the way Alexis was rolling her eyes at Anna today. Alexis herself has doubts about Julian, so wtf? The way Franco verbally slices and dices Jason and Sam is highly entertaining. More, please. They're so smug, hypocritical and unlikeable. Sam ruined lives for money and then tolerated Jason's senseless killing for years, so she can shut up forever.

I have been bored with him now for several months, so Jason needs to remember his past. Maybe that will help things. Part of the boredom is Sam and Jason. I seem to find them insuffereable no matter who is playing Jason. I like Billy Miller, but Jason/Sam is played out. I don't want him back with Liz either. How about Maxie? I love Finola/Anna, but they are playing her too much. She doesn't need to be on every day. Nobody does. Michael Easton seems to have learned that he can't phone it in anymore. There have been several awkward moments with this new character, but I like his scenes with Carly. Mostly I like that he's trying.

I hope Kristina and Parker make out before they banish her offscreen again. Could the reflection in the Helena painting be Finn? Could Finn be Valentin? Could I sound more ridiculous? Easton seems more lively this time. Maybe it's LW. I thought Carly and Finn had chemistry. Hayden and Liz snarking at each other was kind of fun.

Is Serena auditioning to be a Solid Gold dancer? What's with the mirror ball beads on her dress? Oh, wait...is THAT where she put those diamonds? #The70sWantTheirDressBack Nicole looks absolutely ridiculous with that haircut. Someone please tell Ari. #FixItAri It's always nice to see Victor. I wonder what Melissa A thinks about her character's elephant statue story. Anyone who has acted on daytime for long enough has had lame stories, but....... Speaking of lame, Paul's mother adds NOTHING to the show. She is completely devoid of charisma and talent. I know this all sounds whiny, but my patience with DAYS is running low. I haven't been this bored by the show in years. Even characters I love and root for are putting me to sleep. :((( What's going on at GH? Just kidding. I am not that desperate. Yet.

The elephant statue story belongs on Pawn Shop, not a soap. It is truly the most pointless story on Days -but her and Greg Vaughan are hot. Her chemistry with Arianne Zucker is fun. She's energetic and sexy. A character in her age range was needed, too. She's not stiff like so many other Days newbies. She's clearly an experienced soap actress who has chemistry with her scene partners. Fix it, Josh.

I really enjoy me some Victor, Stefano and Kate shenannigans. Loved the opera bit! Daniel has become quite the hen. Nicole's dresses are two sizes too tight and too short and too low. She has such a killer body, but they manage to make her look trashy instead of sexy. Eric and Serena have chemistry, but she needs to stop pouting over that f'ing elephant statue. When will it end?! I'm a little surprised about Chad and Abby. I thought I'd like them more than I do. I'll give it time though. The history and story potential is there.

Jennifer Rose wants to sic JJ on Paige even though JJ slept with Eve. Who is using whose kid now? That is so twisted and gross. That said, I DON'T CARE. Jennifer Rose is finally entertaining again. Yesterday was bad, but today she jumped right back on the bitch train from Tuesday, and I love it. Kudos to Melissa Reeves.

So, Jennifer's done being cool. I guess I'll wait another ten years for a good Jennifer day. Thanks, writers! Goddamn elephant statue. Unless "he" who wants Serena to get that bloody elephant is Stefano and unless Serena is Serena Dimera and unless she needs the elephant because it contains just the thing to make EJ undead-then who cares??? Her ENTIRE storyline is about an elephant statue. That's it. That's the whole enchilada. I feel for the actress. How in the name of Alice is someone supposed to make an elephant statue story work? Howwwww?? And now...NOW...instead of having to get it from her love interest which was the only remotely soapy thing about it- and even that wasn't soapy so forget I said that- but now she has to get it from a friggin TODDLER. Whaaa-whaaat??? How did we go from totally inane and not the least bit soapy to totally inane, not the least bit soapy, and now sort of a children's program? As tired as I am of the Wilson story or the Jeve affair or any of it, at least they're soap opera and....you know....not an elephant statue story. That's the other thing. I wish people would stop saying Serena is looking for an elephant. It's not even that interesting (which wouldn't be interesting at all so forget I called it that, but at least she'd be looking for a majestic creature). But Noooo. She's not looking for an elephant. She's looking for an elephant STATUE. A small one. An ugly one. And we have no idea why. Only she knows. And the voice on the phone. The voice on the phone knows. Voice on the phone is no doubt another newbie not connected to anyone. Seriously. I think Melissa Arcer's industry is playing a joke on her. By god it has to be a joke. Like they're totally going to reveal it as such on April Fool's Day. I just know it. Okay. I am done rambling. Roman's botox hurts my eyes.

Melissa Reeves was on fire today. Sometimes I forget that she's actually a good actress. Ok. I want to take that bloody elephant, smash it into a million pieces, burn the pieces, bury the ash under 600,000 feet of manure, dig it up because it's still not far away enough, then send the manured ash to Neptune!!! In flames!!! I was curious at first. Way to kill my curiosity, Days. Nicole being nice to people who couldn't care less about her is embarrasing to watch. Where's the real Nicole? How cute was Lucas today? Aww.

I am so confused about Lucas and Adrienne. They are certainly not some hot couple I want, but I enjoy their scenes. I think it just boils down to two characters I've cared about for years, who have been on the backburner for years, and I just enjoy their friendship. Their friendship makes sense. I thought I'd hate it, but I don't. I probably will hate it if they actually have an affair. The JJ and Eve story is, at this point, gross. Jen walking in on them is a blessing. I just hope Eve decides to come clean with Paige rather than let Jen hold it over her head. Most of all- I hope this brings a complete end to JJ and Eve screwing. I would like to see Eve with men and women her own age. Jennifer, Daniel, Clyde, Kate, Victor, John, Marlena. The possibilities are there. I'm bored by the Will/Paul/Sonny triangle, but I still like Paul- so the scenes with him and Tori, Marlena and John are interesting to me. If John is his father, that means he cheated on Marlena, right? Unless his sperm was stolen.

I like the actor who plays Chad, but the character is kind of rudderless without his family. Phone Stefano is better than nothing I guess. I can't with 55-year-old Eve getting jealous over seeing young JJ hug a girl his own age. Make it stop.

I'm currently enjoying Eric and Serena. I like their rapport and chemistry. This show isn't able to keep my interest in a couple for very long though-so by next week I might lose interest. I lost interest in JJ and Eve and even Paul/Sonny/Will. I hope Higley and Griffith can fix that. Not holding my breath.

Did a shocked Marlena tell Paul to shut up when he was confessing? I may have misheard but I thought that's what she said and I burst out laughing. Will is reminding me so much of Sami right now-it's scary. The scenes with Will/Sonny were great- mostly because of Freddie. I really hope Sonny doesn't go running to Paul right away. That would turn me off. Those three all need a break from each other for a little while. Enjoyed Justin/Adrienne/Lucas and also Eric/Serena. That interloper the elephant has to go though. Did not enjoy Jen hyperventilating and shrieking at Eve, did not enjoy Paige but then again I never do, did not enjoy the depressing as fuck JJ/Eve scenes (can someone please expose them so it can end?). Really wanted Eve to punch Jen in the face. Has anyone ever followed Kassie diPaiva around for a week to see what the hell she eats or how she exercises to maintain that body? It's perfect. I'm not an expert but it doesn't seem like she's had work done on it either. Serena's body is also super hot in a curvier sort of way- and now I'm done being weird.

I really like him but Christopher Sean has not been very impressive in the more emotional scenes, or what should be the more emotional scenes -of the affair reveal. With Sonny the other day, he had this wide-eyed "Sorry, did I spill coffee on your shirt?" look- which was very underwhelming considering Paul just found out he slept with Sonny's husband. This damn elephant story has dragged on too long without revealing shit to viewers but I did think Eric and Serena sparked nicely today. Honestly my favorite scenes lately have been with the characters Days seems to consider backburner, like Adrianne, Justin, Lucas, Rafe, Victor, Ann, Caroline. Also regarding today's episode- I am more interested in Marlena's reaction than Will's.

Da hell? I got the feeling that crazy ass Eve is falling for JJ. She seemed irked when his attention wasn't on her during coitus, and later she pouted that he probably wanted to leave. Paige was almost as pitifully desperate as her mother today. JJ seemed sane and normal in comparison to those two. Kate seems to sniff out when Lucas has the slightest possibly of getting lucky. It's her superpower. Clyde ALWAYS gets to one-up Victor. Ridiculous. I wish Vic had succeeded in killing him. Was really enjoying the Will/Sonny/Paul story a few short weeks ago. Am a little bored by it now. It's kind of dragging.
