Andrea/theajw, I forgot today was your day! Gonna start from the beginning and watch again. (I was up to the halftime when I remembered.) Did you have to bite your lip to not laugh when Andrew thought Nostradamus was a book of the Bible? I'm still snickering.

I know the Alpha, Bravo, Charlie alphabet (thanks to the voice recognition GPS in my car, which requires it) but I had no idea it was called NATO. I've always just thought of it as the military alphabet. I knew Ankara, but couldn't think of another capitol ending in -RA, so I came up with the very lame "Krakow" and "Moscow." Lots of contestants from the Chicago area recently. I like to root for the home team.

When they were talking about "taking a break" from marriage, and Bill Rancic said divorce was the easy way out, I felt for Sherry. Her voice got very throaty and hoarse and she said something like, "Oh, no, I disagree, there's nothing easy about divorce" and kind of did a little Elisabeth word salad thing and gestured to herself. I noticed a minute later that her voice was peppy and normal again, so I'm pretty sure she was getting choked up. For once, I think, we saw the real woman behind the role that Sherry plays on The View, and it made me sad to see someone in pain. As much as Sherry annoys me, I think she's a basically kind person, and seeing her come close to losing it on national TV wasn't fun. (It reminded me of when Whoopi lost her mother and burst into tears in the middle of a segment a couple seasons back. She said, "You just never know when it'll hit ya." Yeah, been there and sympathize.)

Thanks! I pictured Amy but typed Kris. In any case, I'm sorry to see both of them leave. They were certainly some of the calmest investigators, and I still think of Adam as "the new guy." It certainly hasn't been the same since Grant left, and I wonder how long they'll go on. As much as I used to adore this show, it has lost a lot of its allure for me, and I can't figure out why.

Does anyone know when (if?) Ghost Hunters will be back? I heard that Kris and Adam have both left.

I was only paying half attention to the show. Can someone explain what was snarky about the bulimia question/answer?

He's been on before as, I believe, a favor to his good friend Whoopi. They generally treat him with kid gloves.

Well, TWoP is gone, so I guess it's full speed ahead here. Looking forward to discussing the show I watch and loathe.
