  1. I just watched the Roseanne cast interview for Paley Center. Sarah Chalke mentioned she's only in 3 episodes so that makes me think the surrogacy plot line isn't going to pan out. Of course the 3 episodes could be spread out so who knows but she's already appeared in 1 (2? I'm not sure if the end of episode 1 counted as an appearance). I also wonder if the show gets renewed if Sarah will come back. Oh, and in another interview I saw somewhere it was mentioned Becky relied a lot on drinking after Mark's death so I'm interested to see where that goes.
  2. These are basically my thoughts too. Sarah Chalke is a good actress but she's just not Becky. By the time she joined the show, I think the writers really didn't know what to do with the character so I think she played Becky as well as she could. To be honest, I don't think they really knew what to do with the character of Becky after she and Mark got together. Her story lines in season 4 just kind of stagnated. Lecy, to me, is just Becky.
  3. Regarding the surrogacy plot line, I’m wondering if it’s going to be some sort of scam. I think someone (maybe in this thread?) wondered why Andrea wasn’t going through an agency of some sort. I’m hoping it won’t end with Becky actually being pregnant but we’ll see.
  4. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would! I think everyone slide back into their roles for the most part. I agree that you could tell who had been regularly acting and who hadn’t been. People mentioned Lecy but I didn’t really notice that much to be honest and thought she was fine. Michael Fishman with his couple lines did feel awkward to me though. Sara Gilbert is still good. And, after all these years, I still love the Becky/Darlene dynamic and hope to see more in the upcoming episodes. Their relationship has always been one of my favorite parts of the show. Mark is such a cutie and Harris is like Sara’s twin. Great casting there.
  5. I loved that Mark Snow used a score from I Want to Believe on the scene where Mulder, Scully, and Reggie hug. Mainly because it’s one of my favorite XF music pieces.
  6. I always enjoy Glen Morgan episodes for the most part and this was no exception. I have to say I loved the scene on the bus with Scully getting annoyed by the children. This episode actually felt like an XF ep and Mulder and Scully were themselves. Does anyone else feel that Glen Morgan understands these characters better than Chris?
  7. Definitely Lecy. Becky is one of my favorites just because of the way Lecy portrayed her. I'll never understand how some people like Sarah better because Becky was basically a background character at that point. I never understood why they brought Becky back when she wasn't used much after season 6. I also hated how different the Becky/Darlene dynamic was when Sarah was Becky. It was one of my favorite parts of the show. Lecy and Sara had such great chemistry.
