  1. I want Stars Hollow town goodness. Give me a good old fashioned town meeting with Taylor being Taylor and the townies. :-)
  2. I think whether or not certain supporting characters will appear depends on the availability of the actors who play them and the time of the year that production starts. At least moreso then what networks they appear on. My guess would be that at the earliest they'll start production is in the late spring or whenever the Stars Hollow set is available. Didn't the show Pretty Little Liars use the set? Anyone know when that show normally begins and ends production on its seasons and if they still use the set? Most networks shows tend to finish up their seasons in the the Spring as well so that would free up actors like Liza and Jared.
  3. Sooooo excited for this. Ausiello said he'll be posting some more exclusive content soon.
  4. NY Times piece on the Gilmore Guys and why the show endures for them. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/07/13/magazine/why-the-gilmore-girls-fandom-lives-on.html?_r=0
  5. Here it is, as posted by CoffeeDrinker on YouTube.
  6. I'm actually in Austin right now. The festival is now over and it was such a great experience. Sadly, I did not get into the GG reunion panel. I was 10 people away from the door before they told us we weren't getting in. However the highlight for me was Scott Patterson coming out to the line to say hey and wishing us luck in getting in. That was a way classy thing for him to do. He had to trek all the way up a hilly street in mid 90 degree temperature and he was wearing longish sleeves. He didn't have to do it and he did it anyway. That was way rad. I also got to see sit 4 rows away from Keiko at the Gilmore Guys podcast recording, walked passed Danny Strong taking pictures in the lobby of the Stephen F. Austin hotel, and see Hep Alien play. Unrelated to GG, I ended up sitting by mistake right next to the cast from Dusk til Dawn: The Series in their screening. Oops!
  7. Is anyone from here attending? I'm seriously considering it. I'm 5 hours away.
  8. ::raises hand and waves:: I do! I do! As you mentioned in another post fic readers in The X-Files fandom could be pretty dedicated when it came to saving favorite fics on their personal hard drives. XF was my first online fandom back in 2000 and my college laptop had a huge number for fics saved for offline reading. The fact that all fics in that fandom had to be formatted as a text file made saving super easy. Fast forward to 2010 when I finally got the Gilmore Girls complete series on DVD and was able to watch the seasons I'd missed. That's when I became obsessed with GG fic. I started saving some of my favorite stories in this fandom off of BWR and FFN. I eventually wandered away to other fandoms but the Netflix launch of the series brought me back. I revisited my old links and was saddened to discover that BWR and of course TWoP (where I got most of my recs) were no more. Thank goodness for my stash of saved fic. "Variation on a Theme' by KinoFille is among my collection. I've uploaded the first 17 chapters to Sendspace. I got it off of BWR so the HTML format didn't translate too well into text format. It's still readable but there's some funky symbols sprinkled throughout. https://www.sendspace.com/file/uer06l The link will eventually expire after 30 days. Happy reading!
