My son had semi-emergency surgery Monday on his knee they had drained, it "exploded" in the shower late Sunday. He's doing okay now.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. My BIL returned home to today. TY to all who sent kind words. I've been quiet lately, my son is real sick with multiple problems in a distant hospital.

I have a nephew that puts personal family details on FB, grizzly details of my nieces death on FB, theres no place for that in general especially on FB.

I think someone is a closet vaguebooker.... Layoff the pipe and/or bottle dude or dudetteOops I'm sleep chatting again.

There is hope for me now that I know there are others like.

My BIL has been in a rehab facility for days, he's doing great. They handle people with memory problems and other medical problems. The place looks like a 5 star hotel. My dad died on Dec 6th 2011, death of a loved one is hard at anytime but especially during/near a holiday. The hardest call when I was a paramedic happened between Thanksgiving and Christmas, a 9 1/2 week old baby was in cardiac arrest secondary to a mostly non functioning thyroid gland, I felt so sorry for the whole family. God bless all those who have lost someone this year.

This last episode made my sister realize that he won't be able to go straight home, that he will have to go to a rehab place for a while.May The Schwartz be with you.

My BIL had 2 setbacks today, he passed out due to a vaso-vagal reaction to turning his head, he wasn't hurt and they drained fluid off the outside of one of his lungs.

My BIL is holding his own following his heart surgery. They did 4 bypass grafts and did lazer treatment to his heart to increase blood flow to his heart. Because of his severe short term memory loss the hospital wants one of us by his side 24/7, since Sunday ive done a 14 and a 13 hour shift, I'm on again tonight. I'm glad I can help. My Bil is back in his room. Surgeon said everything went fairly well, he said he had to cut through a lot of adhesions.

My BIL has been in surgery for 2 hours. They say hes doing well. They are just starting to do they grafts and they used a laser to establish extra blood flow. Because of his memory problems they want one of the family by his side to help him remember things.

My BIL heart is being moved up from Friday til tomorrow, his Troponin (cardiac enzyme) increased since last night.

At a hospitals CCU waiting room, my BIL had a bit of a downturn late last night. His bypass surgery is scheduled for Friday. I drove my sister to the hospital she has night blindness, and right before the hospital called she had taken a sleeping pill.

I remember their production of the Ugly American(s).
