  1. Did I misunderstand something? Kathryn slept with that dude at the party who they were acting like lesbians for (because, apparently, that was supposed to turn him off, wut?) on a train as "revenge sex" back when she was a "young wife"? She cheated on John with that guy early in her marriage? She and Regina were pretty darn blase about that, so maybe I didn't get what they were saying.

She does. What does she want from Regina. Angelo had a BRAIN anyeurism- the same thing his sister also died of. It was Regina's fault. Regina is right people argue, everything she said to Angelo was 100% true. How is a life insurance policy "blood money"? This girl is being so totally irrational.

However I am not surprised that she is still on Regina not telling her about the switch. That may be something she will never get over BUT that woman is still her mother and she should treat her with respect. If I spoke to my Mom that way it would get popped in the mouth and I'm 28.

Personally I think that once Regina knew about the switch and decided not to tell anyone she became something very much like a kidnapper.

Of course the show usually doesn't present the situation in that messy of a light, so it kind of irks me that they bring it up from time to time, have a character like John (or now Daphne) raise some of the messier implications of what Regina did, but then it'll all get swept away and ignored.

  2. This episode reminded me of why I tend to give Travis the side eye.

"My brother tried to get me football tickets but failed, now I'm going to have to violently assault him later." "You know what my Mom said?!"

"NO I DON'T LIKE TO TALK ABOUT MY FAMILY, WHAT ABOUT ME TALKING ABOUT MY FAMILY WOULD MAKE YOU THINK THAT I'D WANT TO TALK ABOUT MY FAMILY!? I NEVER ASK YOU ABOUT YOUR DUMB DEAD BROTHER!!!"

  3. The kids threw a house party while their parents were gone and the biggest things that happened were that two sober teenagers had consensual sex and used protection, and a window was broken? Given the issues that these kids normally deal with, it's probably fortunate that they didn't somehow get involved in a human trafficking ring while one of the kids developed an eating disorder.

I wasn't quite sure if the scene where Brandon took Jesus's drink from him was supposed to be some sort of knowing wink to Jake T. Austin's issues with alcohol.

  4. I read something about Coleman before the super bowl, he has 80% hearing with his hearing aids, 20% without, he reads lips to make up for what he's missing, he never had a school program or the like to teach him sign language so he never learned much.

This was a good episode in that it dealt with two girls from very different backgrounds who were switched at birth, even Kathryn's book story line looped back around to being about the original book about the switch.

I'm not a big fan of Emmett/Bay as a couple, but the show feels less compartmentalized when they're together, so I'm willing to roll with it. I did find it funny that they got back together and Bay was instantly right back in the middle of his family drama and issues with his Dad that were causing all of their problems back when he originally cheated on her.

  5. Timothy could file a petition for a paternity test and hire a lawyer like any father looking to prove paternity.

Given that they went to the point of having legal papers drawn up saying that they were using his sperm to impregnate her and that he gave them a sample of his sperm and she was pregnant, like, a day later, I'd think he'd have a pretty good shot at getting a paternity test ordered.

Lying to a judge and possibly having your kids lie to a judge as well over something that can be 100% proven a lie would be pretty damn risky.

  6. Stef really has a problem with flip flopping back and forth about Brandon and his parenting. They've been together, co-parenting, for over a decade now, how the hell isn't this more worked out? It doesn't make sense to me, and it's needless drama, and it makes Stef look like a two faced spouse, imo.

I don't know what or why it is but apparently biological connections on this show is akin to being filled with the devil's own sputum, heh, it drives everyone bonkers when they're dealing with the subject.

She can't have it both ways, there should never be any discussion about "their" son that doesn't involve all three of his parents, she kept Mike in his life and brought Lena in, all three of them love the boy so there should be no miscommunication right now, they've had way too much time to get their shit together as far as I'm concerned.

I think they did "sort it out" so to speak. Mike was a mess for a long time, Lena was the "step mom" early on and probably wouldn't have felt comfortable challenging her, so Stef has been the primary decision maker with regards to Brandon for a long time.

Add in that Brandon was, apparently, pretty low drama up until the start of the series, and they've never really had to sort much out until now.

So I think she only includes Mike now because he got himself cleaned up and raised an issue about it and she just assumes that Lena will agree with her.

  7. Saying that Mathew assaulted Emmett is incorrect. He showed Emmett a literal catfish (because that's apparently how kids "catfish" each other on SaB Earth) and made fun of him. Emmett is the one who got mad and attacked Mathew first.

Mathew was being a major ass, but Emmett was the one who actually initiated the physical violence.
