I just happened upon Y&R after many years away. A few characters I recognize, many I don’t know, and a few ( Lauren?) who seem to have had a lot face work done. Victor and Nikki are still around!!!!!
I see Phyllis is up to her same old tricks.
I may keep watching just for your commentary here! 😂😂

I haven’t seen nor even heard of some of these shows. 🤷♀️. So many options.

I’m not sure I have her name right, but how/why does Michelle Yeoh (?) get away with threatening to hit people (the musician) at this show? She did it again this year. I don’t think it’s funny. She is beautiful and a good actress, but I think this “bit” is wrong.

Interesting article on the campaign - and financial incentives- that brought the show to Wisconsin:
Thanks for this article. I’m a Wisconsin native, currently living in Minnesota. Top Chef is my favorite cooking/competition show. Interesting to read how much effort goes into securing a deal!

The Box office award is sort of like the People’s Choice award then? Most popular/most money-making?

Billie looks so cute tonight!

Kevin Costner seemed stiff and uncomfortable when he was presenting.

Sorry if this is a repeat, but I think my original post got eliminated when the forums went down a few days ago.
I did not watch the season, but read the forums here a little, and being from MN, heard the Leslie publicity. I wanted to watch the wedding. I checked in late, and Kathy(?) was interviewing people, so I clicked away. Checked back and the family was being all syrupy about the couple. Click! Checked again — yay, the wedding! But the officiant was going on and on about the show and their love story and then the daughters (again???!) were being syrupy. Click! So I missed the actual vows and wedding. As someone else said, it was too “cringe” for me. But I can see that devoted followers might have loved it.
I wish the couple a lovely and fun life together!

Didn’t see the episode, but I don’t want non-service dogs in restaurants or stores, either. 😩

We recently moved into a new house. Now I’m feeling bad we did not take into consideration “where to put the Christmas tree” when making our decision. 😉

I was surprised at the topless shots too.

I missed the end of the family-of-four moving to France tonight. What house did they choose?
I found their focus on the Christmas markets a little much, given that they would be living there all year! ( Might have been producer driven, I realize.)

I live in MN and I’m not mad at Gerry. I only read here and watched the finale, though.
There has been a fair amount of publicity about Leslie here. She was married to a well-known restaurateur ( Fhima’s) at one time and was featured on the cover of Minneapolis- St. Paul magazine in her fitness apparel during that stage of her life. So perhaps she’s used to publicity. I do an 🙄 on the Prince stuff.
The season seemed to follow a familiar route of “ who would get picked” along with the usual “he/she was wronged” bit at the end.
It sounds like Leslie is making lemonade out of lemons! More power to her.

I’m not a regular viewer, but I watched part of this. Are the inmates trying to run the asylum? I couldn’t believe the way that employee spoke to her employer. Who is allowed to drink on the job like they wanted to?

Virginia couple: Husband said that fortunately most of the furniture conveyed. Oh, sure it did. 🙄
At less than the asking price, I believe. Amazing! 😂

Washington state buyers purchased home was certainly not what I call river front. Looked more like a stream down the hill from the house. Couldn't kayak or boat on it because of size.
It also looked dark inside to me. But the back yard and view were nice! Yes, more like a stream.

I’m not watching, just reading here. They made each woman wear a wedding dress? Why?

If it was a corporate move, I’m surprised they weren’t given some kind of housing allowance for furniture ( or that the company didn’t pay to ship their furniture).

I assume they are working at Mayo in Rochester, too. I also figured they’d want to be closer to the hospital, so the country home seemed like an odd option. It was also an odd house!

I loved this Paris episode, too. Very heartwarming and the son was funny! So happy for his mom.

If I recall, his name is Jesse James, which he thinks gives him a license to wear a cowboy hat. I’ve seen him on a bunch of Australian episodes.
To me, it looks like he is playing a role in his big cowboy hat and big belt buckle. 🙄

When I turned on the TV, they were all yelling at each other.
Click.

The Boston couple walked into one place that was nothing but white everywhere. They both said: "I love the color!"
Me at home: "WHAT color?"
I thought the gold hardware on the cabinets was hideous.
I’m not a fan of gold hardware either. We only recently finally got rid of all the brass fixtures in our 1980’s-built house! 😂

So now is the episode where Phoebe found out about Monica/Chandler.
"MY EYES!"
And Rachel/Phoebe screaming about Ross' apartment to cover.
One of the best, "The One Where Everybody Finds Out". Can't wait to get to the part where Phoebe tries to seduce Chandler...
That’s a favorite episode! The scene with Phoebe and Chandler is SO funny. Phoebe: “I’m very bendy!” 😂😂

75th Emmy Awards (2024)
in The Primetime Emmy Awards (Emmys)
I wondered the same bout Rob and Sally. It looks so strange.
