I mean, that's the end of MOST seasons, right? Who seriously sat through the end of BB12 for the inevitable Hayden victory?
-
The key thing to remember about players like Chelsie is that ALL of the greats played against morons. Most BB HGs are morons. So I don't think it takes too much away from Chelsie's inevitable win that she's doing it against morons. It's still very impressive. I'd put her up there with Derrick/Hayden/Maggie (and, depending on my mood, Xavier). Someone who ran a major alliance without any real hiccups, and got the alliance to fall over themselves to bring their leader to the end. (My Xavier concern is, well, he really didn't LEAD the Cookout, but...at the same time, he basically WAS The Cookout's de facto leader, as shown by everyone falling over themselves to protect him, so while it doesn't always feel right to me to call him the Cookout's leader, he basically was. There was never a moment where it seemed like he was ever in any danger).

In a season filled with bad HoHs, this is sadly not even the WORST HoH, and yet, it is also a pretty hilariously bad HoH. Fuck the DR for fucking shit up by trying to save Angela. They can't have wanted Leah out, could they? This is just some bad luck, right?
-
Of COURSE Chelsie wants her to use it, but I'd be fascinated whether Leah can actually try to make a compelling argument for her to keep Angela, and boot either Rubina or Kimo instead. I doubt it, but hey, at least there's a CHANCE.
-
100% hoping for Leah POV today.
-
Yeah, not BDing Leah is the key to the week for me.
-
Makensy is in a weird spot. With the double coming up, she has to keep Chelsie and Cam, the two most likely to win HoH happy, but she also wants Leah as an option to pair off with. I agree that the move should have been Kimo and Rubina, but, like, come on, Angela has CONSTANTLY betrayed people who helped her, so even if she HAS changed now, how can Makensy believe it?
-
I mean, is it embarrassing? Yes, of course, but at the same time, I imagine she'd have those same concerns about jury management with ANYone she nominated, no?
-
I hope she DOES have something else up her sleeve, but still, so long as she doesn't turn on Cam or Leah, I think she'll be fine.
-
Frankly, at this point, winning HoH is huge if only because it keeps you from being eliminated, ya know? So outside of nominating Cam and Leah, I don't think that there is any move that would be THAT bad for Makensy this week.
-
Yeah, I like Chelsie fine, and I think she'd be one of the all-time greats if she wins, but who wants someone to just have a cakewalk? I hated it when Derrick had a cakewalk, I hated it when Hayden had a cakewalk, and I'll hate it if Chelsie has a cakewalk.
-
Gotta give it up to Makensy, she drew the line in the sand with Chelsie, and Chelsie wasn't going to risk their trio's unity for T'Kor. For now, at least. I bet she tries one last time tomorrow. But a real casual attempt, as going full force would be pretty poorly received at this point.
-
It's kind of amazing to me how good Chelsie is at manipulating people when she's, like, 28 years old, and has, what, kissed a boy once?
-
Agreed, it is definitely a bit sloppy, so I'm not saying Chelsie will pull it off. She might have to back down to pacify Makensy. Basically, Makensy is going to have to FORCE Chelsie to back down on this, because otherwise, Chelsie IS going to get her way and Rubina will be evicted tomorrow.
-
This is what I'm saying. TONIGHT is where Chelsie's true views will come out, and it'll be fascinating to see how much she will push the others on this. Chelsie's whole "I don't want people to believe I'm that close to T'Kor" stuff is 100% bullshit. No one as smart as Chelsie would throw away a HG devoted to them for the sole benefit of "See? I wasn't that close to her!" She WILL throw them away if it means she loses her closest allies, though, and we shall see if that is what will happen tonight. I tend to think Chelsie is good enough to convince them to follow her on this one, and so Rubina will be in some trouble.
-
It just doesn't feel like Big Brother when it's like this. It's like a whole other game. One that is much worse than the actual Big Brother game.
-
Oh, I'm not saying it will WORK, just that that was her best angle at it POSSIBLY working. Again, I'd prefer her to go over Rubina, as i think it opens up the game more, but I think she made a good pitch to Cam.
-
Yeah, T'Kor is playing the cards she has, I think she did a great job there with Cam. Playing the solidarity card was clearly her best angle here, so obviously she should play it.
-
She's smart enough not to push it if it'll hurt her at all, but I could see her throwing it out there and testing the waters again.
-
Yep. Hopefully it never gets legs. It's obviously in Cam's best interest to act like he's open for T'Kor staying, but let's hope he is not. I like T'Kor better than Rubina, but T'Kor leaving opens up the game a LOT more than Rubina leaving does.
-
Yeah, while things look bad on T'Kor, I'm still waiting to see where Chelsie is tomorrow. She is smart enough to know not to make her move early.
-
I agree that it is headed that direction, but I'm still not at "believing" it just yet.
-
I'll believe it when Chelsie says it. She hasn't yet, so I don't believe it yet.
-
Yeah, she sounds exactly like a buddy of mine with a similar background, to the point where I even got my wife to vaguely pay attention to the show with, "Doesn't she sound just like Chris?"
-
Rubina cheering up T'Kor while Rubina and T'Kor both think it is Rubina going home is...certainly something.
