  1. They need to rename the show Morning Willie. He carries most of the show in addition to his work on NBC.
  2. When Joe laughs, his eyes disappear and he looks like Cartman.
  3. I've probably seen all the original shows several times, so I watched the first of the new one and was disappointed. Everyone seemed to be trying too hard to be funny, even Goodman. The closeness was no longer there. That was enough for me. Don't care if it returns or not.
  4. I noticed this episode was directed by Nestor Carbonelli.
  5. Also, someone from Hospice may contact you about having a bereavement volunteer visit you. I did that when I volunteered with VNA Hospice.
  6. I admit I too have a thing for Keith Morrison.
  7. So sorry for your loss, Bronx Babe. Your Mother's last few days must have been peaceful. You made the right decisions to make her comfortable. Please know you are in my prayers.
  8. BB, I agree with Stacy's post. I volunteered for a Hospice after retiring and when we went through the training we were taught that many times a loved one hangs on because they are waiting to see someone in the hope of resolving an issue, or waiting to just say goodbye to someone.
  9. Sending love to Bronx Babe and her Mama.
  10. I was privileged to see Lake Como during a trip to Europe in the 80's. It was very beautiful. My second choice of a perfect place to live, next to the Almafi Coast in Italy.
  11. If you don't want to make your own, stop at Wal-Mart, bakery department, for Patti Labelle cobblers. They come in peach, apple, or berry. Absolutely delish!
  12. zoemom said: That's true of kids, as well. I just saw something last week about kids that don't live in a germ-free home develop a better immune system.
  13. I bought the set of DVD's on Amazon.
  14. I had to rewatch it again On Demand to pick up on some details I'd missed. When the entire series is available I plan to buy that as well. I do have the original Psycho series, but other than I and 2 they stink. Another thing, Freddie beats the shit out of Perkins IMO.
  15. Yeah, I was caught up in How To Get Away With Murder the first year. Then after I knew everyone had committed murder and there was not one redeeming character, I didn't watch it after that.
  16. And that Freddie kept adding to the number of languages he spoke, I believe he was up to 17.
  17. My gosh, it sounds like some of us can't let go.
  18. But, how about something like "Forever for Eternity?"
  19. My favorite Norma moment was when she wore that beautiful coat and met Romero I believe it was at a mall. Must have been the holidays with lights all around. She looked so lovely and happy.
  20. I watched the after-program on Demand yesterday. It appeared the cast really had a good time making the series. I especially liked hearing Freddie speak. And his laugh was adorable. I can't recall ever seeing him laugh on the show. I do know this show will stay with me for a long time, like no other has.
  21. The inscription on tombstones are done by the people selling the stones, not by the cemetary itself. They may not have had time to do the inscribing for some time.
  22. I usually don't see all the details as many of you do, but I did catch this one. When Norman opened the motel he reached under the counter and put the ledger on top, then the little dish of candy, as though it also belonged there. And when he was checking in the woman with the two kids, he ate one of the candies.
  23. I don't think Norman will die, but will probably be institutionalized, leaving the door open for a sequel. He could then escape and go on the run for at least a couple of seasons. The Fugitive Psycho.
  24. His plan was to bring her back home at some point.
  25. What would happen if Marion can't give up on Sam and she comes back to the motel to look for him?
