  1. Alas, ended on a whimper more than a bang. 2/5, no *. Thanks for the season, everyone!
  2. 2/5, neither *. More filled with shame that I failed to get the Talking Heads question than anything else; damn, I just rewatched Stop Making Sense in a theater last year!
  3. Week 44: 4/5. Came so very very close to going with Nigeria as my guess on Thursday, but two five out of five weeks in a season would mean the world is ending, so it's probably for the best.
  4. Well, that was a fast comedown from a good week to a normal one. 2/5, not the *.
  5. Oh, my. It's that brief window of the year when all five FJs in a week make me think I'd be better at this game than I traditionally ever am. 5/5, * included. I'll revert to my former semi-competence shortly, just gonna bask and say things like 'I could totally be a jeopardy champion!' for the next few days.
  6. Week 41: definite 2/5 (Polo & Doppler) and a potential third with the *, if and only if 'Mrs. Joyce' would be considered an acceptable answer. (Probably not.) Knew it was her, didn't know her first name.
  7. Week 40- 3/5.
  8. Week 39: 3/5, no *.
  9. ...throw River in there for extra kicks.
  10. Week 38: 2/5, no *, back to normal after my heady heights of last week.
  11. Week 37, late results: 4/5! I'll take it. (Guessed Cape Verde on the Countries Languages category. Was wrong, but at least one of the finalists guessed it too, so that eases the sting a bit.)
  12. Week 36, 3/5, no *. I also should get points deducted from my to-date total as a penalty for not getting Mystic River, growing up near Boston as I did...
  13. 4/5, with the *. Yes, somehow I, a child of the 80's, missed the Cabbage Patch clue but managed to stumble upon Rigoletto Libretto at the last possible second.
  14. Nice and simple week. 0/5!
  15. Getting in my week 33 score before week 34 is completed tomorrow... Week 33: 2/5, one *. (Hindenburg and Zora Neale Hurston. Came close on Nashville, but shouted 'Memphis' instead. Whoops.)
