You know what I just thought? Could the Sheree character have originally been written for Dolly Parton as a way to get the 9to5 gang back together? But for whatever reason Dolly couldn’t do it so they cast Lisa Kudrow instead. Just a theory... It seems like it could have been perfect as a 3 episode arc for her.

I admit I was quite surprised at the ‘Prince Philip’ investiture development. I thought I was quite well-versed in the title stuff. He was BORN a Prince (of both Greece and Denmark) so I think I assumed he always had the title. Even if he wasn’t allowed to use that title in the UK, I’m very surprised that he wasn’t conferred as a British Prince as soon as he married Princess Elizabeth or at LEAST when she ascended the throne.

Pity about those carelessly hidden keys by Red. I never did understand what she wanted them for. It seemed at first like it was something to do with her getting to sleep with the snorer, but then she just took a sleeping pill. How do the keys to the garden tools help with that? I agree that Lori Petty was excellent. I also think that Linda might be the worst person on the show...morally bankrupt and utterly soulless.

Here's a question, why are they making a thing out of Soso not going down on Poussey as if she's never done it before? I totally remember a scene with Soso and Nichols in the chapel where Nichols shoves her head down but it's mainly to stop Soso talking. Am I misremembering? Was that a different character? Also I hope Sofia isn't dead and I was so sad for Nichols and her relapse. I hope Red is ok too! What did the dead guard's keys get her access to anyway?

There is so much to comment on about this ep but I'm going to mention two things I haven't seen mentioned anywhere yet. 1) The 'eyebrows seceding from forehead' line...that has GOT to be a sly reference to the vote taking place in Scotland in a few weeks on secession from the UK! 2) We didn't see any gold regeneration energy coming out of the Doctor's mouth at any point. That has been a standard with the last 2 regenerations. Oh, and a bonus item...I have to believe that the fixation with him half-recognizing his own face must mean that they're going to do something with the Fires of Pompeii...in some kinda retconn-y way.
