  1. Adrienne is going to wind up looking like that cat woman if she doesn't stop.

    http://m8malone.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/catwoman.jpg

Did you catch WWHL?  She already does.  Yikes!

Brandi's blog is up.   Some digs at her last seaon buddy Kyle

"We see Kyle planning her annual White Party, which she claims has become the event of the year in Beverly Hills with everyone trying to get on the guest list. I'm sorry, but its not the Vanity Fair Oscar Party if you have invited your chiropractor. I think she is feeling a little too self important."

I hate Brandi, but this is funny and she's not wrong if Kyle meant it that way.

Like someone said earlier, I don't think that Kyle meant to sound like this was the event of the year for Hollywood all around - obviously not -- but for her sphere, her world of real estate agents, C list stars, commerce gentry and long term residents, I'll bet folks do like to be invited.  It does look like a fun party.

I think you're right and it just got blown out of proportion by how she expressed it and being repeated a million times.  By "Beverly Hills party" I think she just meant the overblown crap like any of Kennedy's birthday parties, not an industry event (which I would consider a Hollywood party anyway, not Beverly Hills).

  2. I realize Juice is lame, but I've always had a soft spot for him.  He's so broken and I've felt so bad for him for so long, but him being kind of resigned to being raped and also eventually murdered just broke my heart.  I think Theo did a great job this episode.

I actually think Juice was going to take the bullet for Gemma when he met with Jax, and then Jax told him about what happened to Bobby, and Juice was all, "Deuces, bitch!  SAMCRO for life!"

The info about Bobby was the last part of their conversation right before Jax thanked Juice for telling him the truth and said he'd make sure it was quick.

  3.

On WWHL, Andy asked her how much a certain drink costs (can't remember the name) and she said $12.50. Now, I will admit I have not been in a bar in years, and even then they were NOT fancy bars, but that seems like a lot for a drink. She actually gave that as an example of their prices being reasonable! I was a Long Island Ice Tea drinker, and the most I every paid for one was $6, but they were usually $4.50. I guess if she uses super top shelf stuff, but damn....

I don't go out as much as I used to, but $12 doesn't seem outlandish for LA.  It doesn't mean it isn't expensive, and I totally hate paying that much for a drink, but I didn't bat an eye when she said it.  You're lucky to get a draft beer at lunch for $6.  $4.50 might get you a shitty well drink at a divey happy hour.  I think $12-14 isn't odd for a mixologist style cocktail.

HA! I actually felt him with the DVR. We recently switched to a multi-room, HD DVR and it was a real conundrum for me, because I had so many things on the DVR I didn't want to lose. Like, I pondered this switch for days because of it. First world problems!

I really want to upgrade my Tivo, but I have MTV's Fat Camp on there and I'm loathe to lose Diane and Petey.  I'm pretty sure that my box is so old that it only records off to VCR.

Also so not buying that Other Tom all of a sudden "needs" to start bartending again after four years because his modeling gigs are fewer and far between, and he is saving for a future with Katie. Please. He wants to bartend for Lisa to get more camera time, plain and simple.

He got moved up to the opening credits this year.  I don't think he was in the credits last year and possibly not the first season either.  Opening credits means a lot more money.  I'm sure working at Pump and the drama around it helped him snag that.

  4. It's probably better than walking the streets for months on end and watching the Food Network.  I personally would be bored out of my mind if that's all I did.

I'm going to be unemployed soon and don't have to get a job for several months.  At first I was like "hell yeah!  I'm going to take a break and not do shit!  It's going to be awesome!" and then reality set in and I realized I'm going to be bored out of my mind, so I might as well look for a job.  I might end up doing some volunteer work and taking useless, but interesting, classes at the community college though.  I surely won't be watching a ton of Food network (or Bravo) and wandering the streets.

Jax broke Stassi's heart and he's a people pleaser?  Okay.

I wish Schwartz had a better work ethic.  That's not cute and it sounds like he walks out on a shift next week.  He seems like a really shitty bartended.

It was funny when Kristin said she had to drink to get through her shifts.  I'd have to drink if I worked at Sur too.  Maybe that's what I should do during my sabbatical.  I wonder if they're hiring.

  5. Stassi leaving her own home to drop a deuce in a public toilet?  Uh, the same icky way Stassi feels about dumping at her own house is the same way I feel about crapping in a public establishment.   I HATE going to the bathroom at a store, restaurant, or gas station. I try and wait til I get home if I can.

Agreed.  I don't even like peeing not at home.  Last time I went camping I didn't go to the bathroom at all for 3 days.  Hence it being the last time.

Girlfriend can apply makeup. I'd love to have her talent with blending shadows.

She is talented.  I question wearing her look as an every day thing, but I'd love to be able to do my make-up that well.  She just needs to figure out that there's a time and place for everything and tone it down for daily use.

Totally agree.  It looks great on camera & from a distance she looks awesome.  I wonder how it looks closeup in person.  And I wonder how long it looks good in the disgusting LA smoggy summer humidity.  And does she do it herself or does she have a great makeup person do it for her?  Given how lazy she is & she seems to be so completely talentless, I suspect that is the artistry of someone else -- def not her.

LA doesn't really get that humid that often.  We've got a pretty dry climate.  Our smog isn't that bad anymore either, it isn't like the 80s and 90s.  I can probably count the number of times I've had issues with my eye make-up melting off on one hand.  It isn't like we're Florida or Hawaii.

  6. Were we supposed to believe that the ambush on Marks' guys was set in motion in advance, and that the pinching of TO and Rat was anticipated and planned? That ... defies belief.

I think we're supposed to believe that Blackwater Guy called Tyler for a meeting.  Tyler called Jax to ask what to do since they are in cahoots.  Jax then set him up with the crazy plan to point to TO and have TO send them to the neo-nazi house.  Rat was probably at that bar/clubhouse talking to TO about the plan, but shit went down faster than expected and he got picked up too.  It was a very dangerous plan for Tyler and TO (and accidentally Rat) and they could have ended up maimed or dead, so I don't know why they went along with it.  I'm sure Jax wasn't worried about the collateral damage, so it makes sense he would come up with such a nutty plan.  It does seem out of character for Blackwater Guy to go to the nazi house himself and leave only a guy or maybe two guarding all the prisoners.  I think TO might have said the whole charter was at the cabin to get him to take a lot of guys there, but I didn't catch what he said and don't feel like rewatching.  The clearing of the nazi compound seemed sloppy too.  Maybe Blackwater Guy and team were getting cocky due to so easily capturing multiple Sons and had decided SAMCRO were a bunch of jokers?

I'm usually the one complaining about Abel, but this is how I saw it. Abel heard his grandma say something about hurting his mommy. Abel is confused by his mommy's death, Bobby's death, leaving his home etc and hurts himself for attention. He mentions Grandma because he is somehow mad at her without knowing why.

That's what I thought too, that he was just acting out due to all the insanity and mayhem in his life.  I don't think he was throwing shade at Gemma with the "Do you?" either, as funny as that would be, I think it was just not great acting from a little kid.  His actions this week are much more awesome if you ascribe them to adult motivations, but I think that's the same as thinking your dog dug in the trash because he was mad at you.  Dogs are not that complex, he dug in the trash because it smelled delicious, not because you yelled at him earlier in the day.  Although, the fork might have been his weapon of choice due to overhearing that's what killed Tara.  Are we supposed to think Thomas really scratched him, or was it another instance of self-harming and he just blamed Thomas?  I do think 5 is a little young to be a cutter, though, but I guess Abel has had a pretty shitty, chaotic, and violent life.

  7. Still unclear if Tom and Ariana are living in Tom's old place, but wherever they're living, it's messier and dumpier and more trashy looking than how Tom and Kristen lived.

They said on WWHL that Ariana didn't live there and that Tom had a messy roommate at the time.

Is that guy James (the deejay/busboy) really dating Kristen?  I got a very gay vibe from him.

    He's Euro.

I get that, but he's been on every season so far without working for Lisa. As long as he sticks with Tequila Katie he'll still get his VPR money. They only film for a short time anyway (few months I think) so he could easily get bartending gigs elsewhere when the show's not happening. Besides, now that the show's in its third season I am guessing they've all re-negotiated better salaries in their contracts, even TK and Schwartz. Although as far as modeling is concerned Schwartz seems a little short. Is he even 6ft? Doesn't look it. Or maybe that's only a thing for male runway models. I dunno.

I don't think he's ever been in the opening credits before and been a main cast member, he's been whatever the equiv of "friend-of" status is for this show.  Main cast members get paid more.  He was probably hustling to get the bartending gig so he could move up to the credits.

What does this mean? Sorry if that's a stupid question but I don't understand this.

I can totally see why Eds went for huh. He clearly likes crazy ass broads. And dat be Schemer.

    Attempted English translation:

"I can totally see why Eddie Cibrian went for her(?).  He clearly likes crazy ass broads.  And that is Scheana."

So either something in that rockstar humping is making them both have to poop at the same time and he is just a little faster or ends up closer to the bathroom or he is spending an inordinate amount of time by himself with the door locked.

I'm assuming she just doesn't want him to know that she is pooping.  My sister will drive to my mother's house to poop if my BIL is home.  I live alone, so I just hold it until I'm home.

  8. Ick. I am rewatching this episode and the scene where it's Kristen, Busboy, Scheana, and Shay in a bar and they are talking about FI Tom cheating....Busboy seemed to be enjoying the scandal even more than Kristen was. He was like, leaning forward and his face was all sorts of lit-up in this creepy gleeful way. He's a scary douchebag. No wonder he likes Kristen! Anyone else notice this? Those two are the dream team of sleaze.

It was totally creepy how excited and gleeful they were, especially him.

It's taken me a few seasons to realize it, but Katie's face is really unfortunate and Igor-like.

  9. can't believe that is $5 million, seemed like a little bungalow/ranch style house

I think that $5M is actually kind of low for that house given the location.  LA real estate has recovered and is expensive.  The finishes on that house looked nice and like it had recently been updated and Trousdale is a very nice area.
