  1. There are plant stands that make it more difficult for the critters to destroy pots and plants. Also keeping a mister nearby and spritz the cat if he gets near the plants may help. I once had several dozen of the same African violet because the parrot kept attacking them and I grew babies from the leaves.

  2. In a "stitch" response to a tik tok by another reality participant, June said the MJ show earnings while Alana was a minor under Pumpkin's guardianship were split Coogan to direct to Alana as agreed on between Alana and Pumpkin at IIRC 50 per cent Coogan.  MJ alleges something like $160k in an account from that.  Of course, MJ is an established liar so pull out the salt shaker.

  3. From a devotion this week that reminded me of Jill:

    Quote

Proud people are so proud about their supposed humility that they won't seek any help.

Pride can be blinding. It is possible to become so prideful and haughty that a person doesn't even recognize his or her own pride.

Such pride leads to disgrace: When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom (Proverbs 11:2).

Likewise, someone who is prideful thinks that he or she knows everything; such a person refuses to receive correction or instruction. Proverbs 13:10 says, Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.

Furthermore, pride leads to and causes destruction: Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16:18). This is because proud people are blinded to reality -- the reality of their sins.

  4. Jeremy couldn't work out a deal with Matt either. He tried first.

Matt wasn't going to be selling the whole farm either so he could arrange fair inheritance possibly.

  5. I think normally most families would have a discussion before kindergarten. It's usually easier on the child to make small casual references like some people are big, some average, and some small and work forward rather than one heavy duty discussion. I wouldn't leave it to the playground or the kindergarten or first grade teacher.

  6. Lilah should be in a just beginning class. I wonder what the studio owner was thinking. Perhaps she picked other girls who would accept Lilah's differences or whose parents allowed filming. Lilah isn't a toddler any more although she does still look and act like one. She's adorable when she's excited about something.
