  1. "James!" she shouted, devastated but tearless, as he finally finished loading up the Ryder Rent a Truck with the last of his belongings and padlocked it shut.

"What the Hell d'you want, Meghan," he replied in an dull monotone, obviously impatient, unwilling to look back at her.

"Where shall I go?" she pleaded, desperately fingering the brittle strands of her still-pink hair. "You've either sold or locked me out of all the other houses."

He suddenly turned and faced her, anger flashing in his small dark eyes. "Should have thought of that before you posted that online video of you and Dave Beador making love in the giraffe exhibit at the Orange County Zoo."

She started to move in his direction, awkwardly, in strange pulsing jerks, like some 6'2" praying mantis forced to walk on stamped concrete for the first time.

"I was only trying to trying to shame his bitch of a wife," she sobbed, still tearless. "Besides, Andy told me to do it."

"Bullshit." he said. "You know how many business deals that stunt cost me?" He paused, still glaring. "You never think of anyone but yourself."

"But where shall I go, James?" she asked again, imploring.

"Why don't you call Shannon or Vicki and ask if they've got room for you?" he retorted, a hateful smirk on his otherwise rigid face.

"You know why," she sobbed. "They won't speak to me anymore. None of them will." she continued sobbing. "And Andy didn't renew me."

"I'm out of here," he finally said in disgust, climbing into the cab of the truck, starting the ignition, and furiously gunning the engine. "See you in the funny papers, kid," he called out, the tires squealing as he turned right at the end of the driveway and headed out of her life for good.

Okay, this Tennessee Williams quote reminds me of Tamra:

I don't want realism. I want magic! Yes, yes, magic! I try to give that to people. I misrepresent things to them. I don't tell the truth, I tell what ought to be the truth. And it that's sinful, then let me be damned for it!”

    This is Shannon:

“Physical beauty is passing - a transitory possession - but beauty of the mind, richness of the spirit, tenderness of the heart - I have all these things - aren't taken away but grow! Increase with the years!”

    This is Vicki:

“Oh, you can't describe someone you're in love with!”

    Heather:

“I can't stand a naked light bulb, any more than I can a rude remark or a vulgar action.”

  2. Yeah, Meghan could totally be Quinned. Lizzie is now a "friend of" and she seemed to fit in with the group better than Mghan does. I think being peripheral character on these shows is ideal, actually. Get to go on trips, usually not pulled into fights, and get to avoid the scrutiny that comes along with being a main castmember.

Still curious about what Danielle's deal was, even though now her situation seems like ancient history.

Plus I think Meghan annoyed Andy.

  3. Oh, I hope you don't think I was implying you're too hard on Meghan.  She's fair game, and she brings this crap on herself.  She didn't have to address her "haters" at all, but to taunt them with - I eat thousands of calories, and still look like this!  Not smart when "this" looks like a praying mantis with bulging biceps.  I really despise when criticism is assumed to be motivated by jealousy.  Not jealous Meghan - except of your probably free Cardinals tickets.

Yes, but her awful personality provides more than enough fodder, lol

  4. And yeah, I'm going to stop the body talk because I don't want to seem like I'm picking on her. I just have a lot of friends who exhibited the same behaviors (weight loss, "I eat so much!" Pics on social media and then using compensatory behaviors afterwards...) as Meghan who later ended up hospitalized in residential and inpatient facilities. I think she's playing games with her life and it's kind of upsetting to me because I've seen what can happen.

  5. I'm not sure if you're saying she doesn't have bio kids, because she doesn't ovulate due to low body weight. If so, she told the world in her first episode that Jim has had a vasectomy. It was when Heather offered her left over embryos to her.

I don't know what her body is doing and I don't claim to. She mentioned menstruation in her rant so I was pointing that menses doesn't mean one is healthy.

And I missed the vasectomy part in that episode, so thanks for clearing up. Makes sense why she's upset.

  6. I just looked at the article but the picture of her from before speaks for itself. She might have been naturally thin, but her physique now is not natural. She had better enjoy it now because the effects catch up to you. And one can menstruate without ovulating (and thus lose bone density); it's not a sign that one is at a healthy weight in and of itself. But the way she was crying over not having biological kids gives me pause, FWIW.

And yes, she will be fun social media-wise. Before she was even on the show, she was making snarky comments on the publicity articles that were published in St Louis media. I have no doubt she reads here, has google alerts, and follows social media excessively. I don't blame her for doing that given her maturity level (plus she's probably curious). But responding to "haters" (I loathe that word) is not a good idea; it just encourages them and makes one look petty. She has a lot to learn.

  7. meghan-king-edmonds-defends-herself-against-haters-who-say-shes-too-thin Oh Meghan first the Botox and now the I canthelp that I am thin--see me in my gym clothes.

I'd be inclined to believe her if she were always that thin. But clearly that's not the case. Her siblings aren't as thin as her either.

And did she really post a rant like that or are you being facetious? I bet she's F5ing this thread constantly.

  8. From Meghan's blog:

It is not a perfect situation but it was always temporary and done out of the love we have for our family. I don't see the need to judge this negatively, if I was viewing my situation from an outsider perspective, I would think I would be in awe of the sacrifice we made on behalf of our marriage for the long term emotional health of our child.

"Always temporary" is her way of saying "I knew that broad LeAnne was on her way out" for the 32094083th time? Jeez, this woman has no consideration or compassion for others.

Also, in the SYTTD clip she looks less scary and more soft. She should go back to that look.

  9. She's saying she died her hair pink because Leanne died and life is short. Meh...

Andy seemed disapproving of her sharing the info about Haley's BC on tv, because it's "her information to share." Meghan didn't even seem to understand why Andy was asking about it.

I love Joanna (the other guest on WWHL), I watched her on so many tv shows growing up! She's delightful.

  10. Shannon was on WWHL, and Meghan should be truly grateful to her.  When a caller asked Shannon's opinion of the Edmonds marriage, Shannon tastefully declined to answer other than to say Jim has been very sweet to her.  Could you hear Meghan in Shannon's place?  Andy would have to cut her off when he went to commercial.

I also thought that was very gracious of Shannon. She also didn't go into Brooks' cancer stuff when the bartender tried to pry.

  11. I'd marry Edmonds because the dude would be in St. Louis half the time, and when he was around, he'd be more concerned with me leaving  the house early so that he could get to happy hour than he would with spending any quality time with me. And I'd sleep with Marchese because, based on the RHoNJ rumor circuit, it seems like he loses a lot of his type-A personality in bed and becomes more, um, submissive.

Oh jeez, I'd forgotten that last bit. Need brain bleach.

  12. Jim has the personality of a wet dish rag.

Why do they keep sticking ridiculously young women on the show next to 50+ year old women? Its not like 30 is a baby by any means, but I'm in my early 30s and I don't often hang out with the menopause crowd unless it is people from work and by no means do I have a group of menopausal BFFs. There is nothing wrong with transgenerational friendships (I have a very close friend in her 80s), but most youngish women don't actively seek out a social group of women who are their mother's age. That's just me though.

I think that the fact that the casts are getting older is a big problem for RHOC and RHNY.

  13. For me, it would be Bellino. Bellino is a smug, superior, condescending, misogynistic, BROKE, ass. Edmonds is an unpleasant, disinterested, well-off, ass. At least Meghan can get a car, house, and bag that won't be repo'd, foreclosed on, or returned to pawn shop.

Across the franchises? RHNJ's Marchese for me, all the way. But here? Yeah, I think I'd agree with Bellino.

  14. I knew I wasn't going crazy and recognized Meghan from somewhere! She was on Say Yes to the Dress when she was picking out her dress to get married to Jim!

Not sure if that will clear up the timeline at all but I embarrassingly DVR repeats of that show and will be on the lookout for that one to pop up!

Yeah, I remember that episode. She was very proud of being engaged to Jimmy.
