I respectfully disagree. I think Jackie has been the best foil to Teresa since Caroline Manzo. It was great to see someone who wasn't typical Jersey--hair teased to the high heavens without much of a functional brain underneath--who could really hold her own with these women. Jackie is the only one of these women to have a graduate degree (many don't have an education beyond high school) and came in hot with her wit and takes and had Teresa doing her stupid blinking and staring during arguments.

Jackie has gone head to head with Teresa about women's (in)ability to control their husbands, the mere mention of Joe Giudice and Teresa's time in the slammer, and a baseless analogy about Gia doing drugs which Teresa completely failed to understand. As someone who finds Teresa to be a loathsome dimwit of epic proportions who has failed upwards for her violent outbursts and idiotic tendencies, it was really refreshing to see her spar with someone like Jackie who wasn't afraid to kowtow to the self professed "Queen Bee" of New Jersey just to keep her spot on the show.

Let me see her go head to head with someone having comparable education...someone like Aviva or Eboni, formerly of RHoNY, other non-practicing attorneys. Instead Jackie takes on someone she knows fully well lacks debating skills and displays the possibility of having some kind of underlying LD issue at play.  It's easy to shoot fish in a barrel. For that matter, I'd like to see her go head to head with someone like Caroline Manzi who doesn't have a degree as far as I know but has a strong and tenacious personality.   A graduate degree means one has put in the time and effort at a school of higher education...it doesn't mean one is superior in every way to those who do not.

I have seen examples of Jackie's attitude toward the rest of the cast a number of times, particularly when she has referred to them as the Italians when speaking to her husband in a way that is probably clear to anyone who was raised in a heavily Italian-American area.  Dog whistles come in a wide variety.

Jackie IS a snob. A snob who didn't work for some years (she only had a mom blog), and received money from her parents (who hid it after they committed fraud) to invest in real estate, and the stock market.

I don't have any problem believing that Jackie gave the new girls some attitude.  As soon as she filmed with them she had to be aware that they both are a better fit for this franchise than she ever was.  Do we know if the decision to make her a "friend of" was hers or that of production? Whatever,  I won't miss her.

I am staring to like the new Danielle.

Totally agree with Joe and Melissa whining over and over.  IF they are "so over it", as they remind us time after time after time, why don't we see them talking about anything else?  (Maybe because they don't really have anything else interesting enough to talk about?  Or, maybe they're not the super-happy, united couple they pretend to be?)

Little Joe and his wife have been playing victim since joining the cast. Teresa isn't a quick thinker and doesn't express herself well so they can easily outtalk her...and that has been enough for a lot of viewers to place them in the right regardless if that is the case.  In this episode Melissa was so upset by the audacity of Luis to bring up her name in a negative light...despite her and Joe aways talking about Tre and her men to others.  Margaret is another one always gossiping but then acting like she is above it all.  I'm noticing there is finally starting to be a sizable shift in opinion beginning to form in regard to the self-proclaimed innocents across a lot of social media.  It's about damn time.  Teresa is no saint and has plenty of her own issues, but there are several on this show who are no prizes themselves.

I feel like the show tried to rehab Matt's reputation.  They showed him all jokey and smiley.   Trying to make it seem like he and Colleen just butt heads all the time and are equal offenders.

Well, if they were rehabbing Matt they seemed to be doing the opposite for Colleen.  What she was giving off seemed like an awful lot of negative and kind of putting him down, particularly the jabs about his stature.  One doesn't seem much better than the other at this point.

Something has always seemed off with Brennan. Here's a nugget. He was arrested for domestic violence just before the show started filming. Alexa's family seems off as well. She seems too sexually open with Dad if that makes sense. Feel like she just says things for shock value. All the overt anger towards Cole was unnecessary. Worry about yourself.

I get the vibe they are trying (and failing) to outdo Cameron & Lauren as being the big success stories of the show.  They're both kind of annoying in many ways.  Far too smug at the very least.  As for Alexa's personal style, I'm all for body positivity but I'm also for dressing to flatter your personal body type in order to look good and well put together.

Raven's the only one who looked good as a blonde. Funny how many of us have come to like her when she appeared to be cast in the villain role. SK was a busy guy, why'd he even bother to propose again?  Feel like his brother knew about the affair(s) and was giving him a strong side-eye.

My question is who was paying for the apartment they supposedly had together in Texas.  I don't buy the whole couple thing with these two. I got more of a sense they get along but strictly as friends and agreed to just put on a show for the cameras.

Cole and Zane, Bartisse and Nancy...all come off far too immature.

  4. My guess is that those calendars are going to show up as merch at one of the inevitable Husbands of New Jersey shows those guys seem to love to do between seasons.

Which one was it with the shady remark directed at Bill in regard to the botched botox one of the new girl's mother had experienced. It apparently wasn't his work but they managed to snarkily work his name into it.  That was an unnecessarily bitchy move.

Am I alone in suspecting that Dolores had her butt inflated more between seasons?  Why does an attractive person decide to turn transform into a gargoyle?

Ok wait, one of the new wives (Danielle?) is connected to the group because her stepmom was married to one of Caroline Manzo’s brothers?  Did I hear that right?

If I recall correctly there were something like a dozen siblings...right???...but aside from Dina, Caroline, a brother and one or two sisters I can't remember any others being on the show.

So far we're back to the same recipe.  Same old shit stirring Margaret, same old perennial victims Joe Gorge and Melissa, same old dumb Teresa, same old newly sculpted Dolores, same old scrappy Jen, same old newcomers looking to make their mark.  It's so regular it's damn near comforting.

Isn't the real mystery of this show how Meredith can have such consistently terrible taste in clothes? Doesn't she have a stylist? And if so, why does her stylist hate her?

She's a good looking woman with the kind of figure that can wear almost anything...unfortunately she does just that.

  7. Time to call it and pull the sheet over this franchise.

The only interesting things to come out of part two was that Angie H. donated to Jen's defense fund and how all of them seemed to be more than willing to throw Coach under the bus.

At least Mary got sneaked in via a flashback appearance.

My final take is that there isn't one of them who comes off either genuine or likable at this point.  Oh, and that John needs to do something different with his hair because that spiked up thinning and receding mess on his head does him no favor!

    Bravo do better!

Here we have a person who from all appearances has settled for infamy instead of true celebrity status.  She seems to sign on for any quasi-reality show that will have her. Pushing or crossing boundaries has been paying off.  At this point Bravo knows exactly who they are hiring and keeps bringing her back for more.  The chances this will have been her last Bravo rodeo  are pretty slim.

Jen knows more about Meredith and her weird family than she has blurted out thus far. Jen is a loose cannon and those that were friends with her before are scared.

Remember in the first season, Jen went on and on about how close she and Meredith were?
I also remember that she mentioned that she slept over at her house a lot, which is weird, imo.

With maybe the exception of Lisa and Meredith I have serious doubts as to most of them having even known each other beyond possibly rubbing shoulders at some social event prior to signing on to the show.  Jen has proven herself to be unreliable in terms of things she states as being fact and there has been plenty said about the "friendships" vs. being merely co-workers in all of the franchises over the years.  What I would possibly believe is one or more cast members with the financial ability hiring someone to do a deep dive into the rest of the cast to find information that could be of use to them for some purpose in the future though.

  10. Has there been any other housewife who has so spectacularly fallen from having been a fan favorite as quickly and with the same impact as Heather?  It seems like her sole function how is to make Crocodile Tears and Baby Doll look good. At least she gets to plug Beauty Lab + Laser.  Otherwise she is doing herself no favors.

Meredith's main reason for being on the show appears to be promoting her son's "fashion" line and her love of bathing in a tub of bubbles.  No push for her boutique or jewelry which makes me wonder if she chooses not to so that she won't have to give a cut to Bravo.  Same for Whitney's line of whatever the hell she sells which hasn't had much of any airtime that I can recall this season.

Lisa doesn't miss an opportunity to promote her tequila or her "son's" toiletries.

Oddball Mary is already gone.  Volatile Jen right behind her.  Say what you will but those two brought more interest than the other four (Jennie of the offensive online posts doesn't even count).

Judging by the three thirsty "friends" the well in SLC might not be dry but it is shallow.  Might be time to pull the plug on this franchise and look to another city.

Seems to me she is confirming what many have suspected and that is these storylines are more than fabricated.  Her time with Bravo, for pulling back the curtain, is now limited and probably over.

I don't doubt that storylines are manipulated. Behavior though is something altogether different.  It's not like everything can be attributed to some kind of deep fake production.

Sure I could be wrong, but it's my opinion this could possibly have more to do with an attempt to explain away her time on the show and any negative light upon her as a result of that time by suggesting it was all fabricated as well as a ploy to hold out for the biggest possible paycheck in return for her exclusive interview.

Jen sat there on the front step of her rented home with her mother and never admitted to her mother that she did the crime and took her mother's retirement money and even though she pled guilty her mother still was saying how Jen was innocent?

I don't trust that anything I see on television is 100% true, particularly in regard to this issue. I won't believe her mother emptied her retirement account to aid Jen's legal defense unless I see the documentation to prove it.  Do I believe Jen capable of having taken it? Sure.  Did she?  Who knows. I do think it is possible that her mother and other family members believed her to be innocent though because I think Jen likes it up on that pedestal she seems to fancy herself to be standing upon in terms of appearing to be the savior of the family.

The bottom line for me is that she is despicable, in the crime(s) committed as well as how she has and continues to portray herself in the media.

  13. I can't be the only person to have laughed out loud when that "choir" started singing!  Y'know, the "choir" that people had to audition in order to join...   The only thing funnier was that it was at a party to reveal the cover of book that would not be released until many months later.

Wonder how Jen feels right now knowing all that has been revealed publicly in terms of evidence while she has still been appearing TV proclaiming her innocence.

I hope they put some more time between this and the fourth season than they have in the past.

Unfortunately Asher was not entertaining for his vocal abilities which, I assume, is what they hoped for. First couple of shows I kept wondering why she kept bringing her teenage son to the parties. Yes, I could  have paid attention, but I wasn't THAT interested.

All of that and more is exactly why I found him amusing.  His vocal abilities had nothing to do with it.

That's exactly what happened.  I don't like these three thirsty dipshits:  Danna, Angie and Angie.  All of them angling for Jen's seat.  I hope none of them get it.  They're all gross.

Suddenly realized that until just now I had completely forgotten about Jennie Nguyen from last year! It's like she never existed as far as this show is concerned.  I suppose it's possible that the three new girls are in friend of limbo because it was decided to not fully add anybody new to this cast until they could be fully vetted, given enough rope to hang themselves, or first prove their worth. Something like that could possibly be responsible for amping up the thirst level.

Ughhh! Scrambling every chance she gets.  I feel like this entire season for her was nothing more than an attempt to play to the courtroom.

I stumbled across a very "earnest" review of Brooks' tracksuits from someone who bought one on the Redditt forum. It was a bit droll. They are what we all expected them to be - not very high end hoodie and pants that have the logo plastered on.

That one black dress literally looked like it had stickers plastered to it and there was a two piece outfit with big bluish logos that reminded me of a sign on a car wash in a nearby town.  Can't say I wasn't entertained by the chutzpah of someone sending out that kind of stuff on a runway and considering themselves a clothing fashion designer.

At this point I think Heather gave herself the black eye so she would be the center of attention...

I think it just shows that the entire show had nothing other than the elephant in the room (Jen's trial) that they couldn't really get into other than superficially despite there being plenty of meat on those bones for several meals.  Whether that eye thing and how has been handled thus came from Heather alone or was production driven...it's been a dud.  They should never have rushed into season three if Jen's situation could not be fully addressed.

Speaking of Heather though...hate to see a wasted opportunity.  She came through season one with a lot of support.  Whether it was a case of hubris or editing or who knows what, her fall from favor has been spectacular.  She should have cranked that book fast between seasons one and two.

Have you never been in a fight with someone and said something in the moment? Especially someone you have known for a while like family and you say things ..... yes we all think things but we dont say everything we think ... And when mad you say things to vent it ... I am not excusing what she said but we ALL have said things in the heat of the moment ALL of us

Yeah, but how many of us do it with the knowledge there are cameras and/or microphones on us with the potential for our words to be broadcast on television to  strangers far and wide?
