It is not a bad idea since after any facial surgery you would have to sleep on your back, I do not remember Jenn having a debut party for her pillow, seems like a missed opportunity to have a party at which the women could scream at each other.

I'm guessing it has something to do with the production company being able to contractually take their pound of flesh from profits if a business is promoted on the show.

When they were packing to go down the shore, I noticed a throw pillow on Jenn and Bill's [gaudy] bed with the initials "LLB".  I can't for the life of me figure that one out, either, considering that a purchase from L.L.Bean seems soooo pedestrian and basic for Jennifer.  I can't figure out if there is some high end designer with those initials!

I thought I remembered something about Jenn and some pillow side hustle she had going and found it again...https://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-jersey/style-living/jennifer-aydins-ultimate-beauty-pillow-lips-lashes-brows

She also confused Hawaii and Cuba when talking about the cigar roller/cigars.  I know that everyone always comments on Teresa's lack of education and basic knowlege, but I always thought that Melissa wasn't much smarter.

There have been slight indictions all along but after that Hawaiian cigar statement I'm wondering if editing has been covering up a whole lot more.

Not a dish of poi, poke or a roasted suckling pig in sight!!!

There was prosciutto, a giant mountain of it that looked like slices slapped on the side of a huge lump of foil...in the heat of summer.  I actually rewound it because I couldn't believe what I was looking at.

  4. Some of this series is a bit ridiculous so far but I can suspend disbelief enough to make it watchable.  I will admit that I bounced around several times in my guesses regarding who was guilty and that is the best I can expect from a crime/mystery type show.  I ignored it on the list for a long time and not sure what made me watch it now but I'm glad I did.

  5. My biggest issue was having competition show veterans compete with newbies.  The veterans are already well aware it is every contestant  for themself.  The newbies are at a disadvantage from the start.

The thing I hate most about these types of shows is when contestants like Andie come on confusing the premise with Queen for a Day and thinking that their needs make them deserving of the win rather than strategy and gameplay.  Cirie played upon just that by suggesting that Arie shouldn't win because he didn't need the prize as much as others. Cirie is ruthless...because she understand that is how the game is played.

Why was what Teresa said about Margaret so bad?  It's better to be her friend than her enemy?  That's just common sense, especially when it concerns a Real Housewife.  Suprisingly, Teresa said something logical.

Marge's and her cronies are making it out to be such a shocking and provocative statement, yet each week we are treated to Marge essentially saying the same thing about herself in her tagline, “I’m a loyal friend and a lethal enemy.” Love her or hate her, without Teresa none of that set have anything remotely interesting to put out there and that has been the case season after season, episode after episode.

This is so spot on! These women presumably all have access to mirrors...I'd like to have whatever filter they are using when they look into them.

But Jen is committed to her martyr act and not really concerned about the ramifications. Evidenced by her bringing up her children’s concerns in a televised therapy session. I’ve been in her shoes (I assume plenty of us have), and the cruel truth is you’re stuck with two options: you can decide it’s salvageable, find a way to forgive, and move on; or you say this can’t work, and we have to find a way to coparent separately, like Delores did.

It is probable that her culture plays a large role. Throw in a bunch of kids, many of them quite young, and an upscale lifestyle too into the mix. Hell, let's throw in that she really loves him and doesn't want to lose him. It's possible Jennifer is still hoping for a turnaround and not sinking into an even worse marital relationship.  I'm not saying she's going about that in the right way but she could well have deluded herself into thinking what she is doing will help.

As for Dolores, it seems like what she and Frank had isn't exactly so much co-parenting as much as co-dependancy.

Everything I’ve seen so far shows that it is Not For Me, so I’ll just take all of everyone else’s words for it that it’s a good one.

I know several people who loved it and hyped it up big time.  I was disappointed when I finally saw it.  Not for me either...that being said, however, I did recognize the quality of the acting , I just didn't care much for the story on a whole.  It had a lot of deep concepts but they were presented in a way I just couldn't appreciate.

Is it normal to only have 1 intern? Because no other interns are listed.

Is it normal to have headshots of interns on the staff page of a business website?  Then again, some of the choices on that website were unique compared to any of the law firm sites I have ever seen. Vive la différence!

Ding! Ding! Ding!  Not only did she get to leave, she got to look supportive of a friend.  Actually one of T's better moves over the years.

I get flashbacks of Teresa and Gia when seeing Danielle with Valentina.

Except this new kid seems to actually deliver somewhat in the talent department beyond looking pretty and striking a pose.  I still cringe remembering scenes like young Gia's acting audition and singing to her uncle while being filmed and ultimately broadcast.  If Gia is pulling a Bravo salary today, good for her after the earlier exploitation.

Jackie went full attack on Danielle because she felt threatened about being replaced by her. And she was right! She was demoted.

I never thought Jackie fit into this franchise.  The casting department seems to have gone back to the original drawing board which is so far turning out to have been a wise move.

Gia is a senior at Rutgers and evidently has an internship at an immigration firm -  Martinez Immigration

The attorney resembles a real housewife so it's a good fit - check out the employee page where they are all dressed in hot pink including what seems to be the only male employee.

    https://www.martinezimmigration.net

Wow! Looks more like a group photo I would expect to see on a page for a  place that does aesthetic stuff but certainly not a law firm.  Interesting too that they have Gia, an intern,  listed, along with her photo with the rest of the staff.  Gee, I wonder why.....

Jennifer is a bully and Margaret has no filters.

Margaret is a bully and Jennifer has no filters...it still works this way!  They both like to dredge up and then stir the shit. They're both pains in the ass.  Of the two though I still think Jen is the more genuine of the two while Margaret comes off to me like a poseur.  At least Jen owns her crap.  Margaret is the first one to bad mouth whomever is on the opposition team to others, yet somehow her gossiping doesn't count? Margaret has an alpha personality and dictating to Joe B doesn't seem to be enough to scratch that itch.  She's been honing in Teresa's spot since day one.  I don't get that vibe from Jennifer.

As for bragging, they all do it.  Each and every one.  Some are overt and others more covert...but bragging it is!  They all gossip too!  Each and every one.

Rachel's husband and that beard!  I kept thinking it was like a cartoon and then it came to me...Bluto!  https://popeye.fandom.com/wiki/Bluto

Danielle is extra, but damn, I know so many people in real life who are just like her and I can't help but like her so far.

Jennifer Kessler is throwing in.  Wonder why she didn't make the cut beyond "friend of".

I cackled when Joey and Kariselle lost to Olivia and Dom. He proposed for nothing! I wonder if they're still together? Off to Google I go...

    No surprises here!

Isn't the primary purpose of this show simply to extend the contestants' 15 minutes?

  12. Li'l Joe: I'm not goin' to the party because blah, blah, blah (I need a storyline) blah, blah, blah.

Margaret & Company proceed to treat his absence as though he had been turned away at the door.

Melissa takes the opportunity to make a failed play for some kind of acting award.\

Judging from the looks Gabriella was giving during that talk with Melissa I'm beginning to think we have a dark horse for a future strong player in the franchise.  Those quiet ones...they take it all in but when they're ready to strike, watch out!

Jen Aydin is doing herself no favors so far this season.   Too strong and too wrong.  I hate it that she is giving Margaret ammunition though.  She used to exercise a bit more wit and strategy.

I really am TIRED of Gia throwing in her two cents about stuff she should NEVER have had an opinion.  Now we're adding Gabriella to the equation. The kid who never said TWO WORDS on this shitshow until... NOW.  Just stop it.

This doesn't bother me at all.  Both have been on the show since day one.  Both are now adults.  Both probably have more smarts than their mom.  I'm interested in hearing what they have to say at this point. It's not like having them put their two cents in is unheard of on this franchise.  The Manzo kids had plenty of input in their day.

I like Danielle, so far.  She seems open, fun and she reminds me of soooo many people that I know, both in actions, voice and demeanor, that I feel like I know her.

Same!  I grew up in a heavily Italian-American area and she is like so many people I knew there. I get a more genuine vibe from her than anyone else on the show at the moment.  That's bound to change if she sticks around for another couple of seasons which will be a shame.

Jenn Fessler reminds me of that one season girl, Cindy, on RHONY - the one who owned the personal grooming salons that also bedazzled women's private parts.  I didn't like Cindy, either, LOL!

I also think she resembles Cindy Barshop!  This one apparently didn't have the goods to make it to full-fledged and wound up as "friend of" for some reason.  I can see why!

Jackie just came off mean girl for going after another woman's appearance - especially for someone who is struggling with an Eating Disorder.

She pretty much doubled down and seemed mighty proud of it.  I'm guessing we're finally getting a look at her true colors.

  13. The musical chairs going on with some of these people in the last episodes was a bit much at that point.

Francesca and her provocative posing became a real bore.  I have a feeling that aging and being upstaged by a new generation of attention seekers is going to hit some of these people hard in the years to come.

Compared to the others, Kariselle and Joey look and act like they are somebody's middle-aged aunt and uncle, but Joey had the best line of the series during the country game (something along the lines of them all being on reality shows because they aren't very bright).

How the hell were those two the winners?!?!?!  I'm guessing not one of the final "couples" remained together much if any time beyond wrapping up filming.

I wouldn't go that far. Joe did something right.Broken clock and all that. NOT that I am defending Teresa. They are all terrible

That's it right there!  Teresa is no saint and has had a long list of negatives to carry on about.  Joe/Melissa have had the advantage of editing, a better command of thoughts and language overall than Teresa, and are physically attractive. Many automatically giving them a  pass on a lot simply because they are not Teresa or show time selves to be anti-Teresa.  The thing is though that they have plenty negatives as well and it's about damn time that there is more light shined about that.  As you say, "they are all terrible"!

Except Joe and Melissa have NEVER allowed their kids to talk bad about their aunt or uncle no matter what they were saying as opposed to Teresa from season two in the limo allowing a toddler to openly smack talk her brother and aunt.

On camera.  I think the biggest difference between Joe/Melissa and Teresa is that they are much better at using the cameras to tell the story they want to be seen and heard.

Not at his best anymore and it’s clear he’s mad at Paulie for potentially ousting him for his place amongst the men.

How about when he referred to Paulie being in his house!  Of course the whole dynamic between Dolores and Frank is weird, but as far as I recall the house belongs to Dolores now and it doesn't matter if Frank's name was on the deed once upon a time.

Well, wasn't Jackie showing off some of her true colors during the mean girls lunch.  She, of the horrible posture, wardrobe and hair, has no room to talk.

As much as Luis throws off a creepy vibe I can't help but think if he were truly that bad  Teresa's girls would not seem as comfortable as they do with him.  Those girls are old enough where they would presumably how some indication that he puts them off.

Joe G reminds me of a former narcissist in my life.  Always something to bring the attention back to themselves,  be it something good, or an imagined slight, whatever, always thriving on drama.

I'm not so impressed by the juxtaposition of Melissa making sure her kids weren't there to hear the adults talking compared to Teresa openly discussing the matters with her girls.  I choose to look at it as Teresa's version of events being being based upon the truth and those two girls (who are both adults at this point)`backing her up on that while Melissa's kids would be well aware of how truthful/untruthful that side of the story is. I tend to believe Gia based upon how she has responded to T when she has not been agreement with Hern in the past.  By the same token, Antonia would probably have no problem calling out Melissa if she felt she wasn't being truthful.
