  1. Willow is no Nurse Jackie when it comes to stealing meds.

Okay I may get pelted with rocks and garbage for this ...but I felt Drew and Nina had a bit of a Tracey/Hepburn sparring vibe going today that was more playful and almost flirty than the OTT rage of the last few months. They both seemed to be enjoying it. I might not be mad if this turned into attraction.  Bonus if Carly and Sonny's heads explode.

  2. Feras was the clear winner of the final 3 (for me). Mark was on the wrong side of things too often, and did stuff that made his own alliance distrust him. Caroline was never in contention. As for Ray, I have never seen any player so happy to just be there to support another player in winning!

Very entertaining season. And done without a bazillion idols and advantages and twists happening all the time. Just a few to keep it intertesting, but for the most part, tribals were about alliances and strategies. I fear US survivor will never be great again.

  3. Dex: I want to report I almost murdered Cyrus on Sonny's orders. Oh, and Sonny is involved with Pikeman and illegal weapons dealing.

Anna: Thanks but no thanks! And we never had this conversation. Okay, buh, bye!

That's our Anna! How about immediately interrogate Dex properly about everything he did and knows. Get a team in place to follow up on leads generated by the interrogation and decide next steps. She doesn't know if Dex will change his mind or be killed after he leaves the room. So stupid!

Having bitched about that, I watched every bit of the show today and it held my interest. The new writers must be doing something right, cuz I was almost rooting for Joss as she finally got a crumb of a clue about Jason. ... ...I SAID ALMOST!!!! 🤣

I've liked Diane since she came on the show.  She added some much needed sass to all  the mobby stuff.  Reminded me of the type of characters Eve Arden used to play (anyone?).

I like Diane too and hope these writers do her more justice. ...so to speak. 🤣 I remember my dad listening to old time radio programs of "Our Miss Brooks" and Eve's fiesty working woman character was a true original.

  5. There, there Joss, don't cry. I bet "mob enforcer boyfriend almost murdered old man" sex will be even hotter than "trying to stop mob mole boyfriend from fleeing town" sex.

Meanwhile, I just can't buy that Ava is catching feelings for Sonny. Crazy crypt sex, sure. Demure hand resting on his shoulder as she gazes at him, hell NO!

  6. Ah, just when I was about to be so impressed with the husband actually accepting that his mother did it, being honest with the police, and wanting to help the investigation, he back tracks later. Maybe he was just destroyed by the whole thing, and couldn't face it. The fact that all his mother could say when he cried out "Mom, it was you!" was "is that what you told them?" spoke volumes. I'm sure growing up with that woman he learned to be controlled by her.

  7. When the designers came in, I was like, did they tell them to dress in costumes? I guess we have a couple "characters" this season. So glad they gave each designer their own room. It seems like last season was mostly team challenges, including the first one, so it was nice to see how they all work and think without any collaboration or influence.

That guy was nuts to put the picture of the smoking woman up. Was it someone famous? I didn't recognize her. But in any case, you would not have any relief from looking at it in such a small room. I don't really need my tiny hotel room to be a "destination space."

And yes, of course, @Aulty, I had a tiny heartbreak over Stu's haircut. 🤣

  8. If they make John a bad guy my head will explode. He is the first rootable character to enter the scene in forever. Sounds like Jason is protecting Carly, so of course he will be hailed a hero for killing people for all the right reasons. Does Hallmark make a thank you card for that?

Congratulations Willow,! You have checked bingo boxes "treated a mobster's gun shot wound", "committed crimes", and "allowed criminals and guns to hide out near where you live with your children" ....you are officially a mob moll!

  9. Doesn't matter if Jason is doing all this to protect his favorite mobster, or even if he's doing it for some greater purpose, he is still a piece of shit for dragging Danny into it. He should have given it up right there and then, not pressured his young son to get involved in his crimes and violence. His kids are better off without him.

Okay, now I never thought I would say this.. EVER.. but for the slenderest of moments, when Drew was grilling Carly and calling out her all consuming Jason love, I was Team Drew!

  10. When Carly said "Wait outside until my lawyer gets here," I was like, OMG the show doesn't know how search warrants work! Then John goes "I don't think you know how search warrants work!" 😍😍

And also, Jagger should have known about the bridge-it was the same one Stone bungee jumped from after he was diagnosed with AIDS.

I forgot about that. That bridge is high enough to bungee off of and all of the these people are surviving jumping/falling off it! 🤣 Jason is still a wimp though, cuz Sonny had his bridge fall with him and still lived! Jason merely has a flesh wound.

  11. The case was new to me too. 48 Hours is very hit or miss. They almost always give away the entire case in the opening minutes, so there is zero suspense. And they often present an espisode like this right before the defendant goes to trial. Why not wait until April so so they can give us the conclusion?

  12. Tragic. This is why I always told my brothers to break up with a woman immediately if they have a crazy ex or weird shit starts happening. It is more common than one thinks. Doesn't often end in murder, but no one needs to suffer that over someone they just met.

Also, Dateline is on to us and our fast-forwarding, cuz it looks like they no longer announce "coming up...." before commercials, which is when I hit the FF until the next segment. Now they just subtley blend it in! 😖

  13. Nothing turns Sonny on more than having some female comfort and absolve him after he's gotten (or nearly gotten) a loved one killed. Good thing Ava is just "helping Nina get her husband back." 🙄

Just make Jason and Carly end game and get it over with. At least SBu was able to squeeze out a single manly man tear for her and I will get the joy of watching Drew and Sonny's heads explode.

Who do we want for John? I'm gonna say Liz or Alexis. Maybe Nina is on the list too, but she might be one toe over the drama line for him.

  14. "They either have something on him or Jason is working against Sonny!!"

Um, yeah, like there hasn't been brain implantations, memory fuckery, look alikes, twinning shennanigans, and massive amounts of brainwashing that these people are well aware of. I hope to god they make it more compelling than a redux of that. Or that he is just working with the enemy in order to protect Sonny. ...but not gonna wait on the edge of my seat for that.

  15. Noooo! Fucking Nigel! They couldn't get anyone else?! There are so many talented and well spoken alumni.

I know the premier didn't do great in the ratings, but I'm hoping that the popularity of DWTS last season will give SYTYCD a bit of a boost.

  16. Okay, Anna might be dead to me. She tells Chase it's okay to give her an update on Dante's shooting while Sonny is standing there, then she stands up for Sonny when Olivia goes off on him, literally stepping between Liv and Sonny to assert that Dante was simply shot in the line of duty. I guess yesterday's disgust was fleeting, cuz today she had boo boo tears for Sonny.

The way they kept zooming in on Dante, I thought for sure he was going to go into the light and see Lulu. That would be fun, but unlike Mike, Curtis, Sonny and a great host of others, I do not want Dante to cross over.

  17. It would have been absolutely epic if Raymond had voted out Feris or Kirby. That would have made him a legend. I wonder why he didn't go for it. Doesn't he see that they will get rid of him whenever it suits them. Especially now that he is making moves. I don't get why he was so keen on Val as some huge threat when he had the opportunity for a mike drop moment taking out one of the top dogs.

I don't have way to watch Jury Villa. 😞

  18. Rage at Sonny telling John about his powerlessness with Deke, and how that made him uniquely qualified to relate to Karen and know what she needed. I'm sure he did see her pain ...but only used it to prey on her so he could feel powerful.

I really hope the tears in Anna's eyes listening to John were because she was realizing how deluded she has let herself become about Sonny. ...but then the woman sobs at dog food commercials these days, so who knows!

  19. I did not know they were doing this new style of auditions and was like, wow, these are the most curated, staged, scripted auditions ever! Seems like kind of a "The Voice" format when we have to see them at home and learn the saddest/most challenging thing about their life immediately. I hate that.

Having said that, so glad the show is back, and Jojo is nowhere to be seen. WTF with that 30 second tribute to Twitch. They could have shown some of his amazing dancing highlights in different styles!

    the bits I could read

I froze the letter every time they showed it and was able to read quite a bit. She was definitely trying to get the mother to probe the brother to see if he would be willing to come forth with a made up story that she was providing about the husband and drugs and Mexico. She probably never sent it cuz she knew they would not do it.
