    Oh, so *that's* Steffy.  I've been wondering.  Do we hate her?  I kind of want to hate her. And I don't even know what cha cha cha is.

    There's good and bad with that:

     

    If $Bill and Liam savage Rick in their publications it damages the entire Forester brand and Forester family.

     

    Should they tar and feather Rick, they also soil the careers of the people they allegedly want to protect.

    Oh, and another reason I'm looking at Katie like, "Please kick rocks" is the fact that she sicced her ex-husband on her fiance in retaliation and now she's just sitting around with this placid expression talking about Rick going too far and giving Caroline her "blessing." Easy for her to do since she already exacted her pound of flesh.

     

    Katie is sitting in the catbird seat now: Brook's out, she's back at Spencer Publishing with a vice-presidency to clip to her keychain, $Bill is all humble apologies, cutsie flirting, and truth telling to get back what he's convinced himself he needs to repossess, and she's all warm and fuzzy with her boss Liam. 

     

    Katie got more than her pound of flesh, she's been deemed the gracious lady. Katie will have her calm pose and her hands will stay clean when the shit hits the fan.

    Rick is going to have a serious mental breakdown, and when you surmise that the gun in the nightstand is there for the taking, I'm guessing that Rickster is going to shoot Maya accidently. Either that, or someone else is going to enter the bedroom during Rick's serious break with reality, and that person will get shot.  Maybe Brooke?  But today's episode, after just being pushed by Liam, he really did remind me of Jack Nicholson in the Shining.  I don't blame Liam for busting in there because when he was standing outside the door, it really could have sounded like Rick might get physical with either Ivy or Caroline.  But did you notice that once Rick realized that Caroline was up to something with Ridge, that's when he went bonkers.

     

    JY is doing a good job burning every bridge Rick has to cross while strutting to the abyss.

     

     

    Liam is finally a real Spencer, with or without the corporate crown. He's infected by the same Master of the Universe virus $Bill suffers with. Liam pretending he's a boss of anyone at Forester is a tactical error that will blow back on to Ivy.

    For those grossed out by Caroline and Ridge is it the age difference or TK  himself?

     

    For me it's everything.  One, the actor is just gross, he's greasy and unwashed and certainly doesn't look like he could be a fashion designer.  He's the creepy guy sitting in the bookstore cafe all day long and just looking at people as they walk by him on the way to the bathroom.  Two, he is old enough to be her father, I don't care how old they are trying to say he is or that this actor is younger than the first one.  There's no way Ridge can be anything less than 55 years old.  Rick has to be at least 30 and I'd say he's closer to 35.  Lastly, Ridge and Caroline's aunt, the first Caroline, were actually married.  I guess Eric and Brooke and Taylor have all bedded multiple generations of the same family, but still.

    TK looks like he's gone to seed, from the way he is groomed, dressed and slouches around.

     

    RM wore some "eclectic" accessories from time to time, and his mullet ... well, it was a mullet, but he was always well groomed, his posture and carriage was in keeping with his attitude as heir apparent at Forrester Creations. RMs Ridge walked around filled with self-righteous pride and was dressed as a crown prince of the company.

     

    That said, Ridge Forrester is not The One, The Alpha and Omega, Destiny or Ideal. Ridge Forrester has always been and always will be garbage wrapped in skin.
