I feel like the show has gone downhill. Everything was predictable. The Pete story was so Liftime movie-like. Guess Jessie and Rick can bone without interruption now. Gabriel feels sorry for himself like he has some all season and in the end, they all pray after Gabriel nearly got them all killed? Um ok. Bleh.

What part of the finale of was supposed to be a tear jerker? Nothing sad happened IMO. Other than Glenn letting Nicholas live, but I don't think that is what they were referring to.

Carol is just a cartoon with catchy one liners that the writers hope people will tweet/create gifs of.

Can Daryl please shower and cut his hair?

I thought it was interesting they bleeped show like it is a curse word and Jessica kept breaking the fourth wall when she wanted to rip off the mic and didn't want to be on camera. Yet didn't she just get married today and hashtag shahs?

I believe GG. Mike acted super guilty. Forget him not staying, when she said he fucked her, his immediate reaction IMO was more "oh shit" and not so much "WTF are you talking about?" If she was totally making shit up, you would think he'd be like "what are you talking about? When? Which night? How?"

IMO Lisa V would look so much better with shorter hair.  The length itself doesn't bother me, but her hair almost always looks frizzy and dried out (I hate Kim, but her long hair looks relatively healthy IMO so it doesn't bother me).  Perhaps a shorter cut would help matters.

The fake Alzheimer's patient made me sooo mad. WTF what a selfish piece of shit! His wife had to deal with 5 years of him supposedly having Alzheimer's and he is complaining about his pain? What in the world? He wasn't of sound mind. It is not like he got drunk and drove. How ridiculous. If I were the wife, well I would be upset I married such an asshat...but I would have him declared incompetent and would force him to have the surgery. Ugh!

So my guess is Derek hasn't had sex with this girl. At most they kissed briefly. The show won't go there with him and Meredith IMO.

I liked Andrea and I wouldn't have minded her and Rick (I actually thought she and Shand had chem too).

But, I don't like Jessie. I feel like they are trying to do too much too quickly and there have been too many fanficy scenarios with Rick and Jessie. Rick goes from spending several seasons not ever looking at anyone even the slightest bit sexually and now he sees this woman and he can't help himself? The haircut, holding his baby, etc. - it is just all too convenient and too fast. What's next, is he going to walk in on her in a towel next? By the end of the episode, Rick appeared to be contemplating killing Pete so he can bang Jessie. Way too much. Especially because I was starting to think the guy was asexual so this other extreme doesn't work for me.

I think at one point Mike wanted or was rejected by Asifa.

I got to give it to Lisa R, Kim, and Eileen. That psycho beast Kim is indefensible. No franchise has anyone as bad as her. Sure you have your Nenes, your Teresas, Vickis, etc. But they all tend to have something about them that people either really liked or wanted to find out more about. Kim is not likeable or interesting IMO. Lisa R is crying and talking about losing family to addiction, she once AGAIN apologizes to that disgusting creature and Kim can't say ok. She is so gross. The way she hatefully and smugly looked at Lisa R while she was crying...just wow. No empathy at all.

And that shit she was pulling with Kyle about Kathy and Brandi? Just gross. Kyle needs to cut off contact with her. That relationship is never going to be healthy.

Please get Kim off the show. She doesn't belong. She is a gross person and I don't want to see what lows she'll sink to next.

I hate Brandi and while she may be egging Kim on, Kim is perfectly capable of being a soulless loon without her. I thought the first game night was an isolated incident at first. I was wrong. This is who Kim is. An ugly person who doesn't care about anyone around her and becomes angry when she sees happiness in others.

I do wonder if some of her extreme anger right now is for being pissed she can't be high while on the trip.

The idea that Amelia would do the surgery alone, isn't just selfish, but incredibly stupid and against the interests of her patient. Rather than maximize her chances and consult with experts in the field (doesn't even have to be Derek), she just goes it alone? I wish someone would point out to get how much she is risking her patient's life, just because of her oversized ego. The idea of her just having one resident in a ground breaking, never been done before, long surgery is idiotic and sounds like malpractice to me. Since the show doesnt care about realism, I say in the middle of surgery, the baby tumor pops out with its sharp teeth and attacks Amelia. Baby tumor slashes Amelia's throat. Derek comes in and saves Harman. Amelia, in her last moments of life, sees this. And then she dies. The end.

I think it is great that Lisa R shows her daughters how to drink responsibly. Growing up, my parents would drink socially on the weekends sometimes and would sometimes have wine with dinner. They still do. Me? I just don't like it much. Never drink it with dinner and sometimes drink it socially, but I just think it tastes gross. I never thought alcohol was something taboo though or something to be scared of.

One of my good friends growing up had a different experience. Her parents didn't drink and were extremely strict. The second my friend moved out, she began drinking regularly. She usually gets drunk several times a week.

It is different for everyone of course, but I don't think there is anything wrong with parents drinking responsibly.

[S05.E15: Welcome To Amsterdam?]

Kim is just a vile and mean person. Horrible. I mean she has to be bad to make me feel bad for Kyle, who I don't even like. Yes, Kim, Kyle misplacing her bag is the same as you showing up to Hawaii a week late because you were too busy getting high with your creepy boyfriend. Uh huh. She is just a hateful person. Love how she blames Kyle for shit that her BFF Brandi is actually spearheading. Yuck. Get Kim off the show.

Just watched the first look. There is something about that Lisa and Kristen scene that gave me such strong soap opera vibes - like Erica and Kendall (back when they hated one another) on All My Children.

Mei's dessert did not look appetizing to me. It looked like feta cheese and yogurt. I guess I don't like the modern style. I also don't like how she plates everything on the side of the plate.

I don't like Melissa. When she was ragging on Gregory for doing Asian food a lot, I was thinking, is this coming from the same person that repeatedly does "beautiful gardens"/roasted veggies?

[S03.E12: A Stand Against Stassi]

When Jax was going through his list of women he's been with from Sur, he glaringly left out Kristen. And I'm sure many others.

Muppet is growing on me too! I wonder if he has any sort of music career outside of this show.

I thought it was hilarious when Stassi had her friends over and said the losers from Sur just thought she wore cute clothes all the time (um, when?) and her dad funded everything. I'm sure she wanted them to say "OMG no way, you work so hard!" but crickets from them. Ha!

I think Katie got the balls to confront Stassi after Lisa told her she'd been living in her shadow. I did think it was pretty cold though to leave Stassi at the table crying.

I remember Jax mentioning Kristin.

[S03.E11: Tears Over Miami]

From the first look, it looks that Stassi has gained weight. Her face is noticeably fuller.

[S05.E08: Wining And Dining]

OMG I had the worst case of second hand embarrassment tonight. Brandi was atrocious. And soo creepy. Eileen should get a restraining order.

Man, I am super close with my parents, but we never did the sobbing going away ordeal that each of the wives does whenever one of their kids leaves. Wtf.

As bad as Brandi is, and she is horrible, I didn't think she was coming on to Babyface and it was humiliating the way David called her out. Maybe he is so used to her being inappropriate, he just assumed she was flirting. Or maybe he is a jerk. Perhaps both!

If Yolanda lost her voice for two years, wtf is this shit I have been hearing for the past two years? I think Ken and Lisa would beg to differ.

[S07.E07: Nice To Metria]

Phaedra didn't say 5 years ago that she was standing by her man and now the marriage is struggling, she said this at the end of March when the reunion was filmed and Apollo was sentenced in July and Phaedra was nowhere to be seen.

If somebody is rolling their neck in March about how they got a HUZZBIN and they gonna stand by their HUZZBIN while all somebody else has is a Dixie cup and a deferred dream, then you find out 3.5 months later that they left that same HUZZbin twisting in the wind by himself, yeah, you're gonna be shocked after all that talk.

 

I didn't get the feeling that they're shocked.  They were gleeful and enjoying it, and actually knew from prior events that the marriage was not in a good place.  In fact, Kenya has been implying for years that Apollo was straying and a bad husband, so again, nothing to be shocked over.  Besides, whether their marriage fell apart in 2 years or 3 months, I don't see why it matters because when we knew for a fact that it was bad and they were getting divorced, Phaedra wasn't on screen talking about how wonderful her marriage is.  She was saying that it was over.  So, I don't see how it is inconsistent.
