Maya had a very emotionally spent and confused look on her face at the end of that episode, She didn't want to keep secrets from Riley, and here Riley is keeping one from her. Let's see how this plays out.

It's the classic main character that thinks they're doing the right thing for everybody that ends up being right for nobody trope. At least we got extra Topanga time in this one.

Decisions...decisions. So apparently Riley's not quite feelin the whole sisterly vibe thing after all. Kudos to Michael Jacobs for stopping just short of the "fight 'til they kiss" cliche.

Ya know, I initially watched this show out if BMW nostalgia but do care about the core characters. I'm fine with the show's Angela closure and with giving Maya hope. I can see where at times this show can become the Maya and Shawn learn stuff show, but I'm fine with that. It seems if Rider Strong is not in an ep this season, he's probably directing one. BTW, wasn't the dress that Riley came out in at Demolition the same one she wore on her first date with Lucas?

When I look back on my favorite seasons of BMW, I remember the snappy dialogue and madcap juxtaposition of the actors. I saw that rhythm last night with the show and smiled. Yes, I agree Sabrina is the MVP of the show, but I am not going to dump on Rowan here. Kid just turned 13 and she has the task of carrying this show. If I do recall, Ben Savage annoyed me in the original show until his voice changed. Honestly, I feel like Rowan has the ability to do it if the writers tone her character down just a notch.

Can someone please tell me exactly what Maya said the moment Josh walked in the Matthews' apartment and she went weak in the knees next to Topanga?

My theory, Maya's horse guy and Farkle's cannon guy...same guy.

I think Rowan Blanchard will only improve with age. Honestly, in the early years of BMW, Ben Savage annoyed me until his voice changed. I loved Shawn and Topanga's Mrs. Cory/Mr. Cory exchange.
