This. I was thinking the same thing after reading everbody's comments. A person's taste in clothes and interior decor are two very different things. Just because you like to wear orange doesn't mean you would like to have your tv hung on a wall painted in the same colour. I'd say she needs a soothing environment after the kind of work she does and her apartment looks just that to me. I love how it seemed to be flooded with sunlight...to me THAT seemed like something very Felicity-like.

Maybe its because I'm new to the whole 'following a show' scenario but I find RL shipping disgusting...especially if the people you're shipping together are with someone else. I mean a few weeks back I came across the term 'Stemily' on tumblr and I was truly shocked. And though nothing can be done about it...I can't help but feel bad for SA's wife. Maybe her tweet was a general thing or maybe she really was irritated by people Who're into the Stemily insanity...I can't blame her for the tweet...steam has to be let off somewhere. -
You know you're watching too much Arrow when you find yourself reading a thread called 'you know you're watching too much Arrow' and agreeing with every single post. Shit! I need help...

I'm just glad that instead of making Felicity the daughter of some super villain or superhero, the EPs are concentrating on Felicity herself. If the Goth look ties in with what they are aiming for...great. I'm thrilled that Felicity is getting a believable background. A hacker boyfriend who got caught by the Police is preferable to a crime fighting or generating parent/sibling. I think the EPs have put real thought into Felicity's past and I'm really excited about 3.05.

I'm from a country, in some areas of which, drinking water is not easily available so I'm all for water conservation. Having said that, one bucket or ten buckets or even a hundred buckets of water cannot help us...but they can help the people suffering from ALS. So I say anything that creates awareness and raises money for ALS is a good thing. -

The baby pushing away Emily's hair while maintaining a strong hold on the bottle is totally stealing everyone else's thunder. I just had an awwwww moment. -
How does she look good all the time...it might not be a spoiler but...those shoes and everything that's above them...can't really blame Barry for closing the distance. Damn it Oliver...how could you send Felicity to Central City looking like this? And thank you

I'm nor a Laurel fan (quite the opposite) and I don't feel the need to see her be friends with Felicity BUT if the producers want to make her character likable by showing her to be amiable towards others (Felicity), there's nothing wrong with it. Also a lot of Laurel's reactions towards Felicity could be pinned down to KC's acting choices (as someone else said before on this thread). What she said on the arrow cave didn't sound too rude or offending to me. The city was coming down in ashes and everyone was on edge. I also don't think that this season,is going to be dedicated to Laurel/Felicity's friendship. They'll have maximum 4-5 scenes alone (and that is a stretch) which won't be long...for sure. Can someone please tell me how we know about Barry/Felicity kissing? Were they seen doing so on set? If Felicity really kisses Barry, I'm blaming Oliver...not that it'll be a bad thing. It'll probably be a kiss to end all kisses. Her equation with Ray however still isn't quite clear. I wonder how Oliver will manage being just friends with Felicity. Oh well, if nothing else it'll probably increase his stock of man pain.

This is a brilliant analysis.

Great news as this is, I would like to actually SEE it happen. S2 Part1 was sprinkled with moments that had the potential of turning into a full blown falling-in-love scenario, but it never actually happened. Much as both Oliver and Felicity were shown to be extremely caring for each other, to admire and respect each other and to be genuinely fond even ...but love? Ok so Felicity was probably a bit jealous of Isabel and Oliver of Barry but it wasn't exactly the romantic kind of jealousy or if it was, that angle was left in the air and never explored. It seemed more like the kind of jealousy that Michael feels for George in My Best Friend's Wedding and not the sort that Jules feels for Kimmy. A friendly jealousy, if that makes sense. Because at the end of the day, Oliver invited Barry to be Felicity's plus 1 and when Oliver had a real relationship with Sara, Felicity didn't bat a lash either. Her problem with Isabel really was what she said, she wasn't worth it. I can believe though, that Oliver's fake confession felt so real to him that, for the first time, he realized that he had deeper feelings for Felicity than friendship and affection. But it still can't be love, no matter how close to it. Same thing goes for Felicity. True that she had a crush on him in S1, but that had turned into something more moderate in S2; which though quite like it, wasn't the deepest, truest love. Case in point: her brief (but cute) stint with Barry and her lack of jealousy where Oliver/Sara were concerned. So I would love to see how their feeling transformed from a deep liking to a deeper emotion called love. And I would prefer that instead of being told at the beginning of S3 that it happened while I was sleeping, the EPs make it happen on the show, throughout the season. I don't want to be robbed of seeing them fall in love cuz whatever S2 Part1 was...S2 Part2 definitely didn't contain any scenes that portrayed two people slowly falling in love...except for the fake out. About Oliver's reason for not pursuing a relationship with Felicity...I hope it is not the newer version of 'because of the life I live...' cuz that didn't make sense in the first place. If he was so scared of getting people he 'could really care about' into harm's way then he should never have involved her into the Arrow business. Felicity's life was in constant danger anyways by association with him...it hardly mattered if they started dating as well. Saying that 'I'm not ready' or that 'I might unintentionally hurt you emotionally' would have been a more convincing response (not that she was asking for one or that he owed her and answer, they weren't that intimate then). IMO. So I'm trusting the EPs to come up with a believable reason for them to stop dating. God knows that they aren't ready and perhaps they should both say as much...especially Oliver. Oh and about 'am I Laurel or am I my sister?' Three words...WTH???

If Laurel has good Chemistry with her new love interest then Oliver officially will be the only man on the show she doesn't have a romantic chemistry with since she had a good one with Tommy too. This should put the lid on their relationship (or lack thereof) permanently cuz it will prove that they don't go well together. IMO Here's hoping for a knock out Chem test and wishing KC all the best. Though just because Laurel's out of the picture doesn't mean that there weren't be other women...this is after all a Green Arrow adaptation. Right now I'm satisfied with the Felicity only policy for this season, future seasons are not something I'm thinking much on.

As an Oliver/Felicity fan...I was SHOCKED at what SA said about no more chance of Oliver/Laurel. Because after the constant assurance of the EPs about Oliver/Laurel being end game, I wasn't expecting it. Even though there were overwhelming signs recently that there might be a change in the lead romantic pairing on the show...I simply couldn't make myself hope too much. If I, as an Oliver/Felicity fan could be so surprised, imagine the shock of the Laurel/Oliver fans. They were so sure that no matter what happens, no matter how many women Oliver beds, no matter how many dates he goes on...he'll end up with Laurel 'because comics' and also what the EPs and KC have been saying in the not so distant past. Not trying to defend the backlash from the Laurel fans, because nothing condones name calling and demanding an actor be fired because something didn't suit the fans' fantasy. But this reaction is natural, though rude, still natural. They were majorly invested and had the EPs blessings. Some Olicity fans have also said unbecoming things (about KC) in the past. This is the price of popularity. I'm sure the EPs are used to fans' heavy handed response to whatever they do and Stephen Amell is media savvy and fandom aware and knows how to handle these things maturely. They'll live. But everyone should learn to respect other people's choices from this incident. After all, who knows how long Oliver/Felicity will last (hopefully forever). ETA: I would love for Farhan Tahir to be Ra's al Ghul. He was Raza in Ironman and also played Osiris in Supernatural.

I think what AK meant (about Laurel) was that they've given her crap storylines like making her a very well turned out alcoholic(with perfectly manicured nails), a blackmailer, a dinner party bomber, and someone who knows the Arrow like her own name and KC went with all of it without once complaining. Maybe the EPs think that she needs to be compensated for the brain damage the audience suffered; hence the reward. The writers really did a horrible job with Laurel's character...its their way of making it up to the poor woman.

Good to know that cuz I was on hiatus from Arrow and wasn't following the series while the last episodes aired.

Willa Holland and her outfit is totally stealing the show, though I like Emily's lace top as well.
