How many times does Shawn have to screw up before Sonny finds a competent hit man to take him out? I think its hysterical that he has yet to complete an assignment.

He didn't carry out the hit that killed Franco (the one where Olivia got shot)

He couldnt successfully kidnap Carrrrlos (Morgan busted them and Max ended up shot)

He couldn't keep Ava in Sonny's custody

He couldn't re-kidnap Ava and couldn't get Ava's location out of Jordan.

 

Seriously, he should just stick to diner-ing.

Great, more of Spencer making "townie" jokes. Because if a punchline is funny once, it will be funny a few dozen times. 

 

The only upside of having Jakeson at the hospital is that at least we get hospital scenes. (I think this is one of those tricky, everything you wished for in the worst possible way type scenarios)

I wish they would tell the story of Jakeson finding out who he is and rejecting Jasus' life. Let Sonny and Carly learn what Monica and Alan went through. Let them run after Jasus, begging him to remember how he used to do their bidding for them, and clean up all their messes, and how he should be happy to resume that life. And let them learn what it feels like to have Jason turn his back on them-- the same way he turned his back on the Qs.

 

While at the same time, Michael has rejected them both after learning the truth about Carly helping Sonny cover up how he murdered AJ. A cover-up that included kidnapping and threatening to kill a pregnant woman. 

 

I really want to see Sonny and Carly reviled by those they hold most dear. 

 

*sigh* instead we're gonna get pathetic romantic Sam/Jason/Liz nonsense, instead of a story that utilizes 15 years of GH history.

Blech, I suspect they will retcon Sonny as AJ's murderer. It's all Fluke's fault. He snuck in at some point and killed AJ, so Michael could inherit AJ's shares and become the majority stockholder in ELQ so he could be manipulated into giving them to Fluke.

 

I don't expect it to make sense, and I expect it will suck.

 

The Liz/Jakeson stuff is a little overdone. But was I the only one who liked it when Leisl was talking about Jake being flabby, and Liz said, "I don't see that happening" and Billy had such a great reaction. Kind of a "hey is she checking me out? awesome." I rewound it twice.

Actually, I was a little annoyed that he took her word as gospel.

Of course, Michael recognizes the beacon of honesty and goodness that is Sabrina Santiago.  Ech, give me a break. The topper was her parting line, I'm off to right another wrong. Okay Lone Ranger. Who the f#ck talks like that?

 

The only good thing about the scenes at the Metro Court was that Olivia obviously doesn't give a sh*t about Sonny. Anyone NOT mooning over the Moobster is okay in my book.

 

And I call total shenanigans that Carly caught a spelling error in the specials menu. Or that she would keep a straight face lecturing anyone on high standards. I mean, there is suspension of disbelief-- and then there is downright what-the-fuckery.

Yeah, Wasn't it the story that introduced Matt (Patrick's brother)? I seem to recall some plot about counterfeit drugs. Someone was replacing real meds with fakes and possibly selling the real drugs. Lucky and Sam investigated, as did that nurse who crushed on Nic (Colleen? Nadine?). The actress plays a hexenbeast on Grimm these days. She suspected Matt of swapping out the real drugs and selling them.

 

Somebody torched the clinic with Matt inside, he was in the hospital with potentially career ending burns that were completely forgotten, and the story totally went away.

Man, giving Franco a tumor didn't get him sympathy, making him Carly's wooby didn't work, making him an art therapist didn't work, but pit him against Sonny? All of a sudden a serial killing rape facillatator  seems like the more palatable choice.

Glory have a good time at your sister's wedding. My sister's is the 25th-- so October is a crazy busy month. My sister is pretty low key as a bride, much to the frustration of the groom's sister. She called me the other day to ask about getting the key card for the newlywed's hotel room so we can decorate it with rose petals and champagne. Do people usually do that? Outside of the movies I mean? And why would I take part? That's my little sister she wants to 'set the mood for' and her brother.

Hey Chilli-ites. Now that Hateball is back I thought I'd check in. Formerly BeetFarmGirl from TWOP. I had a ptv account in May, but completely spaced on the name/password, so I had to start from scratch. 

 

This summer has been the bad kind of crazy. I've got one sister getting married, another in the middle of a pretty nasty divorce. Lots o' family drama.

 

I learned typing in 8th grade. We had to take it before we were allowed to take a computer class-- Which worked out great for me in college because I earned a good amount of money typing papers for others, on my Brother word processor. (damn, am I dating myself)

 

As for milestone birthdays, I'm hitting 40 next month, and celebrating my 10th US Open trip.

So very sad to hear about James Garner's passing. He was always so great to watch. Perhaps I'm ghoulish, but when a notable actor passes, one of my first thoughts is, "Ooh! TCM marathon"

 

As long as it includes "The Great Escape" and "Support Your Local Sheriff" I feel like Garner's work will be well represented.

While HP was very good, I really didn't like her being in that room. She wanted to be there when Rafe drew his last breath? What teen thinks like that? and really, she hadn't really spoken to Rafe in weeks, and she just barges in to his room??

 

I don't know why I would expect realism on GH, but that really bugged.

 

Why hasn't anyone (least of all Maxie) noticed that Levi, supposedly Mr Zen, Mr everything is part of the cosmic plan, even the death of a baby", Is soooo unwilling to let go of the whole "who called immigration on me" thing?

 

Shouldn't he be all, I guess mooching off of Maxie is not my 'journey' .. hell, I just want him to leave, body bag, handcuffs, wormhole, just gone.

See, I just interpreted all the Golden Girls nonsense as sucking up to Marc Cherry. Maybe he's angling for a "Devious Maids" gig. Well, that and he probably thinks its 'edgy' to make any reference to gay tropes.

 

I would be interested to see Silas get all revengey. I never watched PC (I mean Lucy as a vampire fighter, really?) So I have a hard time believing that Easton can do anything but too-cool-for-school low energy.

 

I don't like the idea of SamTrick. I actually like Patrick being friends with women. He and Liz have great friendship chem, and I never want that to go anywhere. Let Sam and Patrick be friends. She can talk about her relationship with Silas, and Patrick can feel guilty about the Jason secret. It's especially complicated given he was getting married when his presumed dead wife came back to town.

See,  if they wanted soapy. This would be the point at which Molly needed something to survive the crash-- (rare blood type, a kidney) and Ric would be the only match. He would have to come out of witness protection to save his daughter.
