Couldn't be bothered to watch until tonight.

Okay, I like to rag on the producers but for once I actually want to be fair and tip my hat to them....that was an awesome bit of trolling the fans like the people on this board and I'm talking about the Key Wheel Petitioner! That was awesome to acknowledge they are aware how everyone hates the loss of the key wheel and wants it back...of course they will ignore us but that was a nice bit of shade throwing.

But with that said time to throw some shade of my own...tonight we learned Alison Grodner has a girl crush on Lisa because of all of this season's evictees they could have brought back they chose her.

Cam is going to change his game? What game?

And just like last week after Quinn won this week I skipped right to the end after Chelsie guessed the right number. No way I am going to give her the time of day listening to her pontificate.

OTEV Huh? Angela can kiss the veto goodbye. First out? Almost certainly.

I’m thinking Lisa was mostly brought back because she was the most local/closest to the studio lot.

  2. What I wished Avery had said, or that production could have shown if she had said it, is that Kaycee is connected up the wazoo and would always protect Tori, Aneesa, Devin and Josh before anyone else.

  3. I know Angela is a lot, and I feel badly for how Lisa had no allies during her run, but I don’t think that dynamic was as one-sided as it seems. During week 1, Lisa told Angela that she doesn’t want to associate with her inside or outside of the house, as it would be bad for her brand. What the f else was Angela supposed to do with that?

Hall Brawl, Pole Wrestle, Balls In ... this feels like home.

    Almost.

Wes, Sarah, Nani, Zach, Jenna, Kyle ... not the same without you guys.

It sucks to have lost Paulie so soon.   I hate Paulie, but he would have kept things interesting.   The kumbaya attitude he displayed in his last appearance seems to have vanished.   Paulie Classic appears to have returned.   Too bad it was cut short.

Maybe the single best thing about this season is that it does not include Jay Starrett.

I think Jenna and especially Wes and Nany were asked, but likely turned it down. Wes and Nany probably have automatic spots on a season for the foreseeable future should they want them.

  5. Devin’s trying to convince us that Leroy played shady in Double Agents? What is he talking about??

Ugh, I want to like Laurel, but her Cara obsession is tiresome at this point. She can’t be both an anchor and someone she’s threatened by in a final!

  6. Wonder why certain people (Jodi, Aviv, Brandon, Nehemiah, Avery, Kyland, Josh) were purple in this?

“Cara buried her horse, so maybe it’s time to bury the hatchet” is an insane quote I never thought I’d hear anyone say.

I think it’s a shame that Ashley Mitchell isn’t on this season. She was a major part of era 3. I’m going to assume that Kam and Jenna were asked but declined.

  7. Pentagon is Brooklyn, Cam, Cedric, Chelsie and Quinn.

I lost track of who is in the Collective, but I think Joseph was a big part of it, as he was championing it even after Angela blew it up.

I thought this was a decent premier, silly AI twists aside. I like that they spent the first hour on the first 8 HGs. I have a pretty good grasp on who's who.

I missed how Makensy (pretentious spelling) won the upgrade. Did she simply get the most right? The entire sequence was BGRY RBGB GYRY BGR. I fail to see how anyone could remember that unless they were neurodivergent or something.

Weird they didn't have their bags with them.

I think Makensy got the most right in the least amount of time.

THIS.  It usually takes about 3 weeks for the Houseguests to bring out the knives, at first behind the backs of the other Houseguests.  I love the idea of them getting a head start on the crazy by bringing in the Survivor 46 crew.   And I'd bet a guaranteed HOH that Liz is allergic to slop.

Seriously, although I'm not sure that a Survivor alum has been cast on BB, I would not be shocked to learn that Q is on the casting office's speed dial.  He's tailor made for that show.

Cirie was on the most recent season of Big Brother.

  10. What is the majority of the house’s issue with Cara Maria? When did she spread false information about Kam and Leroy, or play any more selfishly than the others? If it’s a matter of her being one of the biggest threats in the house, why not just say that (though I think Laurel and Kam have said that, to their credit)?

I’m so tired of Nicole. Laurel at least has some entertainment value, is a pretty interesting and complex person to watch, and is an all around solid competitor.

Jay’s confessional about Avery wanting redemption puzzles me. What does she need redemption from?

  11. I generally like Kam, but she can miss me with “everyone is stupid for playing for Cara Maria’s game.” As if she’s not hoping that the others play her and Leroy’s game.

Veronica is killing it politically this season.

In just the last season and this one, Survivors that I think are easily at least as delusional as Q, and I would say more so. Q is mainly arrogant and condescending. I am not sure that he has been actively wrong about anything such that you could call him "delusional."

By contrast, people have already raised Bhanu and Jelinsky. Yes, Bhanu could be merely acting as delusional, but he's kept the act up.  And Survivor 45 had:

Brandon  - the guy who thought he was great at everything but who was actively and objectively terrible at everything

Sean - who claimed that he could have won the game despite being the only member of his old tribe after a switch, but wanted to speed up getting back to his husband

Bruce - who thought that he was God's gift to Survivor and who acted like his two days of prior Survivor experience made him a wily veteran, even though he literally had no allies, bossed people around and actively alienated people.

When did Brandon claim or imply that he was great at everything?

  13. Moriah had a confessional where she said that Probst doesn’t lie. Danny McCray and the others on season 41 probably have something to say about that. The hourglass twist was an absolute lie, negating an immunity win that Probst gave no indication was ever a possibility.

  14. The Feras and Kirby dynamic was one of my favorites in a long time.

I like Mark, and think he’ll likely win this season, but I don’t see how he’s played better than Caroline. Caroline at least has the Viola and Winna moves that she spearheaded. I worry the jury will skewer Caroline
