  1. Lol. A dedicated viewer for sure! I'm a lazy one - I rely on my hazy memory and the writers to fill in the gaps :)
  2. I for one loved how they did the flashbacks. Yeah, I didn't need the exposition recap, but more than that, most of the clips they picked focused on the growing psychological game Tyson and Neiman have been playing over the years. As someone who hasn't really watched those episodes since they aired, it added to the tension of the story and the history these characters shared. A 2 min, or more, "previous on..." couldn't do that for me. No electronic records to prove the guy's Tyson? Beckett running off on her own? Sure I eye rolled, but I don't watch the show for logic & realism. Tyson's wink to Castle? Pure chilling entertainment. That's why I watch.
  3. Very fun episode. Loved it. I wonder if Castle calling Beckett "honey" was just for fun this episode or if it'll become his pet name to her "babe"?
  4. It's interesting that you saw a foreboding look there. I saw the opposite - that he seems a bit awed, like he was afraid that maybe she thought the wedding wasn't good enough and now she's saying it's perfect, surprising him again. I didn't get the feeling of a worried look either. I thought a bit of satisfaction, especially after Beckett earlier commented about not wanting to go to Sorenson's wedding and deal with "someone else's perfect day." ETA: Nadine beat me too it :)
  5. That pic of Stana & Nathan in theTVLine interview, which I assume is behind the scenes, is adorable. Lots of moments where I giggled, but laughed out loud at Castle's attempted high five with Ryan during the interrogation. "Where were you at 4am?" "In bed with Beckett." <high five> I live in LA and have seen my fair share of beautiful sunsets bordering on the surreal, but even I was incredibly distracted at that wedding scene. Overall, though, I enjoyed the episode a lot.
  6. If I remember correctly, there were photos & video of Nathan wearing a wedding ring while filming an episode or two after 7x06.
  7. In "Clear & Present Danger" I had to laugh at the receptionist's line, "I love that jacket!", speaking for longtime fans of Beckett's outerwear like me.
  8. Loved Castle's response to Espo at the end on what he'd do if he was invisible, "Be a fly on the wall, see what Beckett's dad really thinks of me." Oh to see more of that relationship.
  9. Or is it not even mentioned? I wouldn't be surprised if it's not, just like none of Beckett's other multitude of hairstyles never warranted any mention (except in" Still ", of course). As much as we viewers may place emphasis on Beckett's hair, I wonder if the writers would feel chopping inches off really merits any character development...even if it seems obvious to us to offer some given the circumstances of the episode. If I had to guess where in the episode it's shorter? After the time jump to further illustrate time passing. ETA: Ha! WendyCR2 beat me to it. :)
  10. Not necessarily. They used a murder board when Alexis was kidnapped even though they knew she wasn't dead. The board's used just to gather facts and brainstorm.
  11. My vote is fan made. Looks like the final scene of "Murder, He Wrote", just turned sideways.
  12. In fact, that's what happened with his Joey Buchanan character - three other actors stepped in after Nathan left in 1997. Side note, I had no idea he briefly returned in 2007 for a couple of episodes celebrating OLTL's 10,000th episode.
