Exactly.  Colin’s swap idea was ridiculous.  I think he’s just been really unhappy since day one, and saw this as an opportunity to leave.  But it won’t fly for the reasons you stated.

The part that surprises me is the tv angle.  I always got the impression he enjoyed being on tv and the whole reality tv-fame thing, so I’m surprised he’s ok with walking away from that.  For this season and I guess future seasons.

I agree he’s homesick, but I actually think it’s the crew that he’s uncomfortable with. Other than J-Wow, he hasn’t bonded really with anyone. Colin is more wholesomely goofy whereas Jack, Aesha and Travis are vulgar and overly sexual. Hannah and Anastasia are cold and superior acting. Then there’s June who isn’t interested in him. He’s been more of a friend to her than she has to him. He’s over pretty much all of them, but I agree, Colin will not be the one who goes home. It’s definitely June, who undoubtedly got pregnant either before or after filming.

I have to admit I find Whitney (mostly) entertaining.  Of course he brought his Braun (or whatever) electric toothbrush.  Of course he's sanitizing the remote control.   Never change, Whit.  It was nice of him to pick up the dinner tab at the restaurant, especially since everyone ordered a steak and the 2 bottles of wine, alone, were over $200.

I think Whitney “picking up the dinner tab” just means that the show is taking care of the bill since Whitney is the executive producer and show creator.

Cameran just seems to be an extra.  She is non-compelling and plays it too safe. She’s just showing up for the paycheck at this point and I’m done with her whining about how hard it is to be a mother. I’m sure Kathryn rolls her eyes too.

Metul seems a bit machismo to me. Naomi went to the other extreme with him.  He makes me uncomfortable and I find to be too much of a try-hard.

Eliza looks like she’s on the wrong show.

Exactly! And you said it perfectly...she’s an extra. An extra in way too many scenes with too much camera time.

She’s very similar to Whitney, although at least his scenes are limited. He shows up to a few parties and mutters a couple sentences — which is all Cameran should be doing if she’s going to be boring and hide her husband.

  4. It’s awkward that Cameron’s husband refuses to be on camera and interact with her or accompany her to dinner parties. Don’t get me wrong, I think she’s an interesting cast member but she also feels hollow and above everyone else because she doesn’t share a very large part of her life. I personally think she doesn’t belong on the show.

  5. I’m not buying Denise planned the wedding 2 days before the wedding , probably more like she planned the wedding in 2 days.

If you have enough money to throw at people you can get flowers, catering, a venue, and servers in a pinch — the wedding also took place on a Sunday, so the venue would have been easier to get. Besides, it was a Bravo event of sorts so was likely paid at least in part by them.

And since it was an event filmed for the show it also meant the HWs had to show up or not get paid, and since Mauricio’s business anniversary was planned way in advance it wasn’t the kind of thing Kyle would skip out on.

The HWs are probably required to stay for a certain length of time, like a minimum of 2 or 3 hrs, so the fact that Denise was abysmally late to her own wedding was probably not that big of a deal. The producers may have even “encouraged” her to take her own sweet time for dramatic effect, but who knows? It didn’t negatively impact her special day and things went off relatively smoothly and she was able to put her own spin on it and make it her own.

  6. The first episode was the best and went downhill from there. For me, the way this series was produced and all the jumping back and forth from past to present was clumsy and hard to watch. I’m glad this series is over and that both daughters survived the hell their mother put them through. I hope the youngest daughter is able to work through the trauma, heal and find her place in whatever makes her happy.

Oh, that mom bugged me too.  She seemed incredibly immature and annoying.  I was wondering what the age difference was between her and her husband.

I don’t think they’re all that far apart in age, maybe 5 years. She has to be mid 30’s. The mom acted only slightly more nature than her 2 toddlers, okay I exaggerate.

She doesn’t “like” doing laundry? Well, guess what...most of us don’t, but it has to get done. She’s incredibly immature and obnoxious. And who teaches their kid to say “booby time” when they should be drinking from a sippy cup?

No way she’s able to keep this up. Her house is probably already near clutter capacity. Bet that couple fights loud and below the belt often. Whoever said this couple will be divorced in a few years is right.

I love decluttering and minimalism, but I couldn’t get past the 1st episode. 🤷‍♀️

  8. Their getups are sparkle trash. They all look hideous. Cari looks a little better than the rest, I’ll bet her husband picked out her dress, lol.

Nah, I take that back — Cari’s dress is just as bad.

DeAndra looks like she’s wearing heavy curtains from the 80’s.

Emily,  your mother does not CHOOSE to have a mental illness.  It's not all about you.

    This!

Can we put Emily in a casita too? At least while her mother is in town so she can visit the grandkids without being guilt-tripped for having severe depression.

Which explains the outfit, right?  ;)

LOL, this comment wins best post of the thread!

ETA: And the reason being, because I haven't heard him mentioned for decades. He used to be on everything back in the day; he was legendary 70's TV.

  11. I'm liking Dorit less and less. She's a terrible host and miserable, whiny guest. It's one thing to give a little humored ribbing to Kyle about the state of her party, but to complain, and point out the obvious numerous times is ugly and in poor taste and shows her thirst for superiority, which has the opposite affect. I actually like un-perfect parties and people who are un-afraid to be flawed. Dorit is a poser.
