  1. Do GEB really charge money for their podcast?! Wooooow ..

Podcast are the best driving and work from home companion. I don't listen to any "celebrity" podcast and never will. Can't name one celebrity I find interesting enough to even grant them 5 minutes of my ear time.

There are legitimate, funny, thought provoking, knowledge based podcasts and I hate the way anyone who has been on TV for at least 5 minutes have invaded the space with their nonsense.

For any nonfan, if you are curious about the hype I would suggest Heavyweight. It's heartwarming, funny and engaging. Great for a podcast virgin.

ETA - the podcast SCAMfluencers have done a show on Teresa and Joe, Erika and Tom and Jen Shah. Bravo didn't even tell 1/4th of what really happened. They go in deep and do not hold back.

Candiace was fired the moment those colorist words came out of her mouth to Gizeelle last Reunion, but like any Corporation, BRAVO (or whatever entity) tiptoed around the optics and waited until now. I feel $orry for her Mom, who will no doubt have to go back to paying for Candiace's husband Chef Chris/child support/musical stardom/IFV without the BRAVO check

My interpretation of the colorist conversation was Candiace saying G, Robyn and Ashley BENEFITED from a colorist fanbase and the people in charge of the show and I agree.

G embedded in her fanbase that Candiace called her a colorist and it's just not what happened. Just like Chris was not trying to "lure" her into a hotel room to see if she was "about it " and he was a sneaky link.

If it's one thing that beautiful devil is good at, it's deflecting.

I disagree. She and Giz will continue now with Reasonably Shady (and the associated Patreon). Now that Robyn is no longer part of the cast, she will be able to sit back and raise questions and talk shit about the cast completely unfettered. She will run with that role serving as Giz's straight man and talking all the gossip about Karen and Wendy that she can knowing that there are zero consequences. She will do this because she is dumb, and because she knows once she gets off tv, she will never need to answer another question about Juan except from her mama and daddy.

YEP! But no way that podcast is bringing in the same income as the show. She better make some more hats.

And who amongst us don't just looove when someone leaves a job and calls back everyday to see what's happening in the office. Thinks they can't be replaced and how will they ever survive with them.

  4. I stopped watching reunions after Nene left. The only ones I truly enjoyed was Atlanta. I find the rest extremely boring. It seems all they do is serve to set up conflict for the next season. It's old and tired just like Gizelle and Robyn.

The 3 who didn't have anyone show up to support them tells me everything I need to know. I can just read this comedy gold message board and be more entertained.

  5. I don't mind any of the "come on now really" scenes because I'm watching a show about people turning into zombies when they die so I tend not to nitpick too much.

I appreciate Danai and Andy coming back to give fans closure. Ended how it started - with Rick reuniting with his family. And as President of the Sucker for A Happy Ending Association, I have already watched the finale 4 times.

Followed by an "All this work and what did it get me" TikTok that suggested she was working to broker peace between the cast. Who does she think she's fooling??

Gizelle is not passing up that check. Unlike Robyn, who actively does other moneymaking things besides a podcast, Gizelle don't do shit. And I don't see GNA being successful. Just looked at their website, and they don't even have a full collection up with the pieces they showcased during the finale. Did we not learn anything from She by Sheree???

Ummm excuse you! The socks are sold out!!! I don't see Athleta selling out socks from Amazon with an iron on logo.

So 10 pair in stock at $15.00 a pair minus production and shipping they both stand to make $2.98 pure profit.

The pivotal scene was the cast confronting Ashley at the photo reveal about what happened between Candiace and Grover:

    Probable Keepers:

    Mia, Karen, Gizelle

    Candiace

    Probable Goners:

    Robyn, Ashley

    Up In The Air:

    Wendy (leans Keeper)

    Nneka (leans Goner)

Ashley posted one of those makeup free no glam car videos thanking the fans and saying "it was a great experience." Word on Sesame Street is The CW read her ass like a Bible at a revival.

Gizelle being relagted to that second seat is letting her know she is on thin ice skating like Olaf.  Linneitha Leakes would NEVA!

Nneka at the end in a folding chair letting them both of know Karen is was and always will be THE GRANDE DAME.

With the current cast, no.  Last night's episode actually showed who probably won't be back next season and the reason why they won't be back.

What's your guess? Mine is Nneka, Ashley, Robin and Candiace (confirmed.)

In an alternate reality also Gizelle.

And in my fantasy world they would NYC them and start from scratch.

I don't think Gordon is a bad guy. I think he's old, impotent and scared of being alone at the end of his life and instead of just sitting down in the rocking chair and enjoying his sunset years with his first wife and kids, he decided to recapture his youth by flashing money to get a young chick without the tools or equipment needed to keep a young chick.

This was hard to watch but it reminded me of the early days of this franchise when things were silly and real. I wonder if someone is keeping track of how many marriages we have watch implode on Bravo. I don't even watch all the franchises nor every season and I can name at least 20.

I love how "pressing charges" is such a battle cry. Okay sure. Press charges from that recovery room while scheduling that follow up appointment and therapy sessions for the trauma.

Go right ahead, I guess. LOL

This doesn't equate to just standing there while someone beats me. I just don't find this funny nor a flex so I will bow out of this conversation/replies gracefully.

Yup, don't put your hands on anyone, but I need the next verse to be and it's also unacceptable to inflict emotional abuse upon others as well. It's the diminishment of importance to one unacceptable act in order to condemn the other is what's always got me baffled. It falls hollow to me. Let's condemn ALL the bad behavior or none at all.

I don't think popping Candace in the mouth for the slick shit she says is an acceptable response but in the same token I'm really not going to be broken up about it when it happens. Grown folk can make grown decisions and the aggressor who choose to get physical will deal with their consequences the same way Candace will deal with the consequences of her decisions. Seems fair to me. I mean it is what it is and playing with fire is a saying for a reason.

Let me say my stance is on this particular altercation because this is what happened on the show. I'm not sure how C behavior can be factored in on this night. Not only was she ignoring Deborah but she also refused to engage with her at all. She was approached. Asked her to get away from her. Deborah continued trying to antagonize so instead of using her hands as a weapon C used her words. Now in this instance that is 100% on Deborah. It's not like Candiace walked up to Deborah and started calling her names. That didn't happen. Candiace has never engaged this woman. She always walked away and paid her dust. She called her a Sesame Street character in her confessionals. They all talk shit in their confessionals.

Deborah and Ashley were embarrassed, humiliated, degraded, demeaned and exposed. So they plotted to try again. And again they were embarrassed, humiliated, degraded, demeaned and exposed. In this instance, in my eyes, Candiace absolutely didn't do a damn thing wrong. If you get in my face and I ask you to move and you continue (especially someone who did what Deborah and Ashley TRIED to do) you best believe you are about to the subject of my stand up comedy audition. And you should consider yourself lucky if I don't include ya momma. And if you put ya hands on me, be prepared to bend over and cough.

Understood but what I'm talking about is the narrative that Candace ONLY uses her words and that she is NOT physically aggressive because SHE IS. Chris has had to physically restrain her how many times??? Again just because she has never managed to make actual contact in these altercations she's had, doesn't mean she's any better than the one's that do. She's TRIED to so, for me that negates this whole narrative that Candace is a different animal than the ones that actually manage to put hands on.

Candace BARELY avoids contact and on more than one occasion has also resorted to physical behavior. She just CAN'T follow through on the act  cause either she's getting her ass beat cause they beat her to the punch (literally) or someone has restrained her. The only reason we ain't got pound for pound examples of physical violence to hurl at her is because she just isn't capable of actually following through on her aggression, usually because outside factors have gotten in her way.

It's the defense that Candace is above because she uses her words and her words only and she actually doesn't. She's advanced on people and has gone for weapons in the past so I'm just challenging the idea that Candace is NOT violent in any way shape or form. Let's stop pretending that this woman hasn't gotten gully and been down to throw down on more than one ocassion.

For me, it's not about defending Candiace. It's disagreeing with people who openly state SHE DESERVES TO GET HER ASS BEAT BECAUSE SHE TALKS TOO MUCH.

Robyn is very guilty of advancing on people and making threats as well. Honestly everyone except Gizelle and Wendy get in people's personal space with threats and nonsense. Candiace picking up a bottle in anticipation of defending herself was her response to someone else's violent behavior.

My sole issue is people who think Candiace should be popped in the mouth for the things she says. Because let's line up Gizelle and Ashley for one of those beatdowns if that is the only criteria.

My hobbies include walking away and pressing charges.

I always wonder about full-grown adults still living by "Talk Shit, Get Hit." That might work when you're fifteen and have very little to lose, but that life ain't as cute at 40. Any chick that old who would rather lead with a punch versus a nasty comment should be arrested. After the arrest, she should be sued.

Unfortunately too many people have grown up fighting, so losing their dignity, their weave, and their press-on nails won't mean a thing. That means you'll have to go after her career, her home (if she owns one, since these types usually have very little to lose), and anything else she holds dear. Only then will she think twice before throwing hands.

People laugh about black women Karen-ing in situations where they are attacked, but I'm too old now and definitely with the shits. And yep, my mouth is slick. Attack me and I'll have your ass arrested. I'll hire an investigator to hunt down every last asset you have. You'll be wondering if pulling my hair was worth it in the long run.

And that's that on that *BLOOP*

No one is justifying violence. It's stupid to get physical over liquid being thrown at you. It's stupid to throw liquid instead of exchanging words. But let's not act like Candiace doesn't go hard running her mouth. It's just like Kenya with the specter on RHOA and when Porsha had enough and lunged at her. Deborah was confronting her for the things she said last season, as I imagine this is the first time they've been in the same space. But Deborah could've just let it go, but she wants attention and to be on the show so she blew up this issue further.

Keiarna, bless her, was trying to deescalate and it was just wrong place wrong time. But let Candiace deal with her own mess. You see how, when it was over and Deborah was being removed from the premises, all was said and done, Candiace was still running her mouth like a chihuahua? All bark and no bite, but we're supposed to pretend Candiace is completely innocent.

I'm just saying, not everyone is going to let smart mouths fly. Physical violence isn't right, but let's not act like Candiace isn't a provacator. Just like Monique back then. I'm sure, rightfully, Deborah will be banned from RHOP stuff.

Candiace tried to get feisty on RHUGT, but the girlies from the other franchises weren't having it. Make no mistake, I am not defending Deborah. Who even is she? But I'm just saying, at some point accountability has to fall on Candiace for her actions, too.

I disagree 1000% and that's ok. We don't have to try and convince each other. There are other ways to hold someone with an acid tongue accountable and in my orbit, none of them includes violence.

  15. I will never understand this new trope of justifying violence because of words. That is not how self defense works. I find it hard to believe that all the people making excuses for others violent reactions towards Candiace live their life in this manner. How is that socially possible? How many altercations are you involved in per week? Do you only hit people you think will not or cannot defend themselves or do you go toe to toe pound for pound with all your adversaries? I'm genuinely curious. Asking for myself because I have a smart mouth, no fear but can't fight. A bad combination. I need to know if I should take Taekwondo?

  16. GEB having that much power and keeping their jobs despite being uninteresting and hiding their secrets is the colorism problem Candiace is talking about. Talk about skating through life on your looks. I'm not mad at them for being beautiful but I'm upset with everyone else behaving like a bull in a china shop whenever they are in the vicinity. That's why they didn't like Monique and once they pretended they did it was only to cause conflict. If C or W don't come back then I'm done. I will be down to two cities - Beverly Hills. And I only watch that for the label porn. I don't give AF about any of their lives. The rebooted NY although I think me and the women on the show are the only ones who enjoyed it.

Yes, thank you @drivethroo, I could not tell who was doing what in that melee.

Show of hands, who would have rather had Bravo film the fight than film Nneka's insemination?

They are so desperate to give Nneka something other than fighting with Wendy over a shrine that may or may not exist and the best they could do was show her moving and going to the doctor. I don't even know what Nneka does for a living.

It is time for Ashley to go. There’s no storyline left. Gizelle too. I can see next season being about the twins leaving. Her girls are nice but who cares?
I’d keep Karen, Robyn, Candiace, Mia and Wendy. Not sure about Nneka. I don’t think Potomac will remember her.

Dare I say they could also throw Charisse in there *runs from the comments* lol

  18. Ashley is a raggedy bitch and she needs to be fired. How long ago did C make that Sesame Street comment? John C Reilly momma and Deborah Allen Greer needed a reason to confront Candiace. That is why she double checked to make sure production had stopped and the cameras were off.  That was Animal's signal to start the fight. TMZ got it all to the very end. I don't condone violence but Kiernna knocked 5 Mario Coins out her head 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I loved this episode. I suspect it's going to be divisive because it was mostly a 30-minute therapy session with occasional walker-killing thrown in, but the dialogue was purposeful and revealing and ultimately healing. The last scene with the two of them in the bright yellow hybrid stick shift was perfect and funny and I didn't realize how much I needed that return of the Richonne of old until I saw them laughing together again.

The call-back to Carl was beautifully done. The reason why Rick could never give a good description of Carl's face to the cell-phone-etching artist turned out to be heartbreaking; when Michonne handed Rick her portrait of Carl, I teared up.

I thought Danai did a masterful job of writing Rick in this ep. So many pieces were filled in and his survival mechanisms inexorably peeled away. I now get why he built those walls and why he couldn't let Michonne try to break them down, why he was indifferent to the news that he and Michonne had a son. I thought that AL did a fantastic acting job with everything that this script threw at him.

And Michonne! At last she talks about what leaving her children has done to her; her guilt and her fear. Her anger and despair and finally the self-realization that the scenes she had written in her head about her reunion with Rick were nothing like the reality she was now living.

OK, I have to admit that when she stormed out of the apartment, then stopped to see if Rick would follow her as the scene cut back to Rick hesitating to open the door? I was urgently whispering at my laptop screen, "Open it. Go after her. Go after her!" Heh.

So, yeah. This is by far my favorite episode of TOWL so far. I have no idea where the hell this is all going to end up after the next two episodes, but I am now fully invested in this story.

Congratulations to Danai on an excellent script. Also I knew she was a playwright, but I had no idea until now that she's also an Obie winner. I have to track down a copy of that play.

Well there is no point in me writing a post since you got in my head and did such a beautiful job conveying my thoughts :) .. this episode was everything. It was nice to see Rick humanized again. The hopeful Rick that pulled up to the CDC. The hopeful Rick that tried to convince Hershel to let them stay at the farm. The Rick that saw the prison at the end of Season 2. I missed that Rick.

  20. I love catching little hidden gems within the episodes. I watched Janine do the Van Van Shuffle out of Barbara's classroom 3 times. What a sweet nod to that little girl. If you are unfamiliar with Van Van please look her up on Instagram. She is adorable.

  21. Also, confessionals are filmed long after the season has wrapped. So there is time for reflexion and retelling of history. Robyn 100% was part of the scheme. However COMMA by the time the season aired she realized GNA had gotten way out of line and she backtracked. What we saw from her was damage control. I agree with both posts above. Robyn is vertical integration. Cause the problem @drivethroo then sell me the solution @Chatty Cake.

She tried to fix what they did but by then everyone had enough of her and Beelzebub attacking marriages. I believe this was marriage #4 or 5 by this point. Candiace does way too much but Robyn is not innocent.
