I only remember her saying the word uncomfortable and admitting that he didn’t do anything. However, the implication was there and she really had no reason to do that other than for her own storyline. Had she truly felt uncomfortable she could have said something to them back then. Blindsiding Candiace for shock value was shitty.

A sexual assault allegation is serious and I can see how it would affect his mental health. Chris loved Gizelle. He thought they were real friends. And then blame Candiace for the death threats. Now Gizzy 🙄 folk just don't like you beloved and they was hella mad at you for lying. Stop acting like the colorist conversation is the reason for the death threats. Although I don't condone that. There is no justification to threatened her. Hell if that's even true. Who knows.

While I agree with the some (bold) Gizelle can take the blame for some of this as well .. I'm sorry but she accused him of doing more than just making her uncomfortable. That lie got more obnoxious every time she told it and in the #metoo era, everyone is believed and it's up to the accused to prove them wrong. Even when it's proven, it's over for you. I can think of so many men who were only ACCUSED and yet they lost everything. She should have been way more careful with her words. For all the marriages she has come after season after season in my opinion this is the most vile and she does not deserve to keep her job.

Me and my sister went to China in 2014. While out, we got approached by a scammer running a scam we had already been told was a scam. I was polite and said no thank you. The scammer said something really nasty to my sister because my sister was just ignoring her. Now every time my sister tells that story, she is basically Iron Man saving me from being murdered and I get dumber and dumber with each iteration. That is what G did. She kept adding on to the story and campaigning for endorsements.

All Debra Allen Greer said was Eddie was smiling at her and looked at her while she walked away. To me that is definitely not on the same level of what Gizelle did.

Juan calling another woman the love of his life didn't end their relationship. She certainly won't leave him because he watched another woman drawers go through the spin cycle.

As ridiculous as they are, I will never condone trying to convince another woman to leave her marriage unless she is being abused in any way. I think it's very mean spirited for all of them to keep reading the top 10 reasons Robyn should leave Juan. All women have different dealbreakers.

What did Wendy do to her BEFORE her and G came for Happy Eddie and the cheating rumors. It was Robyn's idea to confront Wendy at that vacation home and try and get her to admit she had all that surgery to keep her husband eyes off Instagram. I 100% believe Robyn knew what G planned to do. I will never be talked down from that. She has sat back and watched G stir up shit every single season and just shrugged her shoulders or laughed. Wendy's show is on YouTube. It's actually watchable. She needs some polishing but the foundation is there. 

Karen admitting next week she didn't put all the names in the hat is comedy gold. Reminds me of an episode of The Golden Girls. 

Karen's daughter is very sweet. However COMMA her and Charisse look like they are going to a 1964 civil rights march as soon as they finish their confessionals.

Since I got so many request for the story, the moderator ask that we discuss in the Small Talk Thread. So I am posting the entire FOL experience here for anyone interested.

The producers of the show (Flavor of Love 2) came to Houston and a friend of my cousin worked on the show (nothing special he probably did lunch orders.) So I let my cousin, her friend and my sister hype me up to go down there and audition. Now mind you, no way I wanted to date this man, I just thought it would be funny and a fun story to tell at dinner parties. I 100% thought it was never going to happen. That club was PACKED so a lot of us desperate ho's was out there in full force waiting on our 3 seconds of fame. Scoping out the competition, I thought I had a better chance being elected president of Russia. So my sister had the bright idea for her, my other friends who came along and my cousin to "pretend" they were my "entourage" and wherever I go they go. I had what looked like a really expensive Chloe bag (which I purchased on Canal Street during a trip to NY) but this was before DHGate etc. so people didn't really know you could buy fake bags. Anyway, allll of this really caught their eye. I answered a few questions, they took some pictures, and we went about our business. We all thought it was funny and just a fun Friday night out. 2 weeks later I get a call asking me to come back and talk to the producers of the show. I tell my sister and I'm thinking what have I let y'all clowns get me into. I don't want to be on this show. But what did I do instead? If you guessed take my dumb ass back you would be correct. Once again, they hyped me up and I took my dumb ass down there AGAIN for shits and giggles thinking it was going to be the end of the line. You get the picture now. So about a month later, you guessed it THEY. CALLED. ME. BACK. Wanted to fly me to L.A. to do an on camera interview and at that point I decided the joke had went too far and I declined. They gave me 72 hours to think about it so then I knew they were serious about me being on the show. Told me they would keep in touch for other opportunities, but I never heard from them again.

No, I made my snarky comment about how she and Gordon are broke now but she still has glam show up but it was a shame that her (fictional) stylist didn't show up because I was not fond of her blue outfit...the one that probably looks better on you with your accessories and sass.

 

Who is bleaching themselves? Trauma/norm, I feel like I am left out of that conversation but if we are talking about Mother Wendy, it was the eye shadow and clown lashes that were not good. I did not notice anything else I mean outside of her (fake) Chanel like smock shirt thing that made her look like she worked as a dental hygienist.

 

 

OMG! You auditioned for FOL!!! I just saw Flava Flav on Tamra Hall not 10 minutes ago!  He was wearing an orange leather ensamble, fyi.

I liked that print outfit she wore to the cooking class.

Blue outfit - I didn't take it personal :) Just thought it was funny to read the comment and think "umm I have that outfit" I mean it's funny.

FOL - Yes girl. And I told the story somewhere else (can't remember) and someone in the comments said the worse part was that I auditioned for FOL2 so I knew what I was doing

I haven't finished the episode but unfortunately it is not uncommon for African women to bleach their skin and or wear make shades lighter. It is a trauma and a custom norm in some parts and I don't understand it and won't pretend. On that front I will leave her alone.

Also Mia has a stylist? Both of her outfits (the crying 2 piece and the cooking outfit) are from Fashion Nova. Because I have both but after reading the comments, the blue one is getting donated 😂. Anyway, since I order matching sets from FN am I now a stylist because I could use a new career path.

Boofish agreed. I love these forums and usually just scroll and read and chuckle. I have been here since the TWoP days. I’m always amazed other people watch these trashtastic shows I overly indulge in. The content is often times better than the shows themselves and can result in me seeing things from many different perspectives.

And I understand what you are saying about Candiace. At the time that was my thoughts as well but I had to remind myself that no matter what, unless it's self defense, no one deserved what happened to her. But I was also half mad because acts of violence have been shown on other franchises and it was either laughed off or dismissed and I didn't think that was fair to Monique. She should have been given a chance to redeem herself and offer a sincere apology. Which Candiace herself said that she would have accepted.

But on my THIRD HAND, I am the type that don't care if one person got probation and the other person received death for the same crime. I am always team victim and Candiace was definitely a victim. Now I know Monique is a big ass adult but Ashley, Robyn and Gizelle sprinkled that feud all season. The same way they convinced Charisse that Monique was not her real friend.

I think if they do ice Candiace out she will be fine. Her career trajectory seems to be going towards acting. I can see her having a second life outside of reality TV similar to Tammy Roman. Wendy will also be ok. But Ashley, Robyn, Gizelle, Mia, Charisse and Karen NEED this show to stay relevant. I can't see anyone beating down their door; not even Tubi. They definitely have only reality TV personalities.

As far as Candiace reads - if you can't verbally spar with her then leave her alone. I for one, get tired of people thinking yelling and calling names and hurling insults is a "good read." Now while they are all guilty of doing that, Candiace and Phaedra will also hit you with facts and that is what hurts. 

It is like the whole infamous Claudia Jordan read of Nene. All she did was insult her and everyone was like oooooohhhh she shut Nene down. But watch the episode again and see who was hurt the next morning and asking for an apology.

Part of me wish The Bassetts would have played chess instead of checkers. As soon as G opened her mouth I would have said I'm so sorry my husband made you uncomfortable. Let me talk to him. Then I would have written the text from him to her with a fake apology favorite buzzwords and phrases:

IF, BUT, WAS NOT MY INTENTION, I'M SORRY IF YOU WERE OFFENDED, I DIDN'T MEAN TO MAKE YOU UNCOMFORTABLE, I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION YOU WERE OK BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING. 

I would have poured it on thick. Then she would have had to scramble to find another story for the season. She could tell me 5+5=Abraham Lincoln and I would  agree. I want them all to stop watering her garden.
