I loved Shannon's spirited reply to Andy's idiotic "interview" of Vicki, but Shannon could have done a lot better rebutting the nonsense. I wish she had.
Vicki is still singing many of the same songs-- Brooks had pancreatitis, but Briana misunderstood... Vicki saw Brooks have night sweats, fevers, vomiting, maybe it was eye drops? (BULLSHIT! She lied about the symptoms, or their severity, but is trying to pretend she didn't lie)... she was away whenever something serious happened...
She cray. I hope Heather, who just wants to be on TV and will do or say whatever makes Heather look good, doesn't toe this new Andy Cohen line of spin. Lord knows what Tamra will do, but I suspect Tamra will eventually fall right back into the game, now that Andy's made it clear what the party line should be. Tamra needs this money like none of the other HWs, especially now that she has to support a granddaughter, a son, his wife, her other daughters...

Vicki also thinks we have forgotten how anal she is. She needles, she meddles, she nags, there is no let up ever. Her daughter couldn't even go out to dinner without Vicki showing up and making it about her. She humiliates her son at his college apt., then has a crying fit in a closet until she gets what she wants. Her son ultimately moves somewhere and refuses to let her know where he lives because she is toxic.
She claims she has Brooks running around like her "wife" doing errands and she wants us to believe she didn't go at him until she found out what she wanted to? She didn't wait until he was passed out drunk, then unlock his trunk and find his medical records? Of course the trunk was empty, but she would of opened it with a crowbar if she had to.
On the other side, Brooks used emotional blackmail because Vicki is desperate to keep a man in his life. These are in no way excuses for Vicki, I just think they both manipulated each other for their own purposes. He would threaten to dump her, take off and leave her for a few days with her begging him to come back. I am sure he threaten to expose all her secrets and illegal business activities, not her S.S. He probably still will, unless he is in cahoots with it. The tiny bit of money he was paid by Bravo/E is probably gone by now, so he will try to blackmail Vicki.
They both operate at a very childish level, so the he/she deserves what they get will happen sooner than later.
Brooks is reportedly sleeping on people's couches , so he will strike first. He will market a sex tape which will be dubbed.."Gross out in the Grotto.
bing bing bing, winna winna chicken dinna, ITA with this entire post, especially: "I just think they both manipulated each other for their own purposes." abso-friggin-lutely!!! Vicki was desperate for "love" and Brooks was desperate for material support. They worked each other to get what they were desperate for.

In this interview, Vicki is talking like she still thinks Brooks had/ has cancer. She talks about when he first had chemo, his second chemo treatment, his symptoms, without saying the sort of disclaimers that would make it clear that she no longer believes in the reality of those events. She doesn't say things like "when he went in for what he led me to believe was his first chemo treatment," she says "when he had his first chemo treatment." Andy is enabling her denial by not challenging her. She is really sick. Pathetic that she is now, after being dumped by Brooks, touting Donn for being an awesome husband. Desperate much?

Omg-that's awesome!!! Yeah, Heather was so put in her place. She would always get this pinched look on her face when Lydia spoke. Lydia is very self-possessed for her age and will call it like it is.
When Lydia was talking about being a virgin when she got married during the reunion show, you could see heather seething next to her since everyone else was saying how great it was. Then Heather chimes in saying her mom said she should always test drive or something, like a jab at Lydia. I would so like to see her back to annoy Heather.
I don't think Heather is a good fit for the oc but it's probably in her comfort zone since she is more accomplished and calmly well spoken than the others. I'd love to see her on the Beverly Hills show to come up against Lisa vanderpump.
Had to write to say I'm a fan of this post. Totally agree with your assessment of Heather. She and Terry are terrifically insecure, but at present (and probably for the future as well) they've been able to pave over their insecurities with grandiosity.

I feel like it's even lower than Teresa Giudice low, because Vicki threw her own daughter under the bus in an effort to protect Brooks. Teresa would never, never sacrifice her daughters for the sake of anyone, including her husband.

I only hope Shannon doesn't lower herself to the level of thinking she has to do anything to "earn" Vicki's so-called friendship.

ITA!! Vicki did NOT pay for Briana/Ryan's house in OK and I doubt that she did with this new house either. It is a real stretch IMO to assume that Vicki paid for anything let alone a house. AND, just because Briana/Ryan are moving back to the OC does not mean she will become a full HW, most likely she will appear alongside her mother as she always has and no more. Also, just because they are moving back does not mean that Ryan is no longer an active duty Marine, he could have been transfered back to the same base he was stationed at before OK, unless someone here knows for certian he opted out.
Yeah, I see Vicki as lending them some down payment money, but not buying the place for them. Hell, that's what she did when she got Briana that stupid Mercedes-- she took care of the down payment on the lease and then Briana had to make the payments.

Yeah but this might be the Hail Mary Pass to keep Vicki on the show. Especially if the other Ho'Wives initially stick to their decision not to film with her. Briana might be able to bring her mother back into the group because as far as I can see the others quite like her. And Brianna isn't exactly averse to being on tv. They could go with a Vicki Redemption storyline about how she is trying to rebuild her old friendships and how Brooks really was responsible for all of it and bla bla bla. I can see Andy Cohen selling that bs to Bravo.
Maybe, I just don't see why Briana would even WANT Vicki on RHOC anymore. I guess I thought she had sense enough to recognize that RHOC has poisoned their lives, and that the cash isn't worth it. I also thought she might have learned how toxic her mother is, and that she needs to create some boundaries there. Seems like I was wrong on both accounts! Ugh, Briana, why...?

Forgive me if this has been posted elsewhere. VG tweeted that Briana and Ryan put an offer down on a house in the OC and it was accepted. Bye bye Oklahoma.
IMO, it's such a huge life mistake for Briana to return to the OC. She needs to extract herself from her mother's enmeshment with her, not bury herself in it.
Here Vicki says she's been to lots of Brooks' doctor visits? Then at a later date she only went to one chemo appointment, then she picked him up from City of Hope after his chemo treatment???? Brooks says Vicki attended 10% of his doctor appointment!!! Just don't believe Brooks had cancer...ever.
"I go to his doctor's visits, and they're reading the scans..." Wow. Methinks we have caught a liarface.

Yes, you're right as far as it goes but--and god knows I realize that Bravo is as far from a reputable news outlet as is possible to get and are purely motivated by ratings and money--there are lines of common decency and avoidance of possible lawsuits for promoting fraud or whatever. Okay, maybe Bravo choosing to air this crap wasn't illegal (undoubtedly their legal department vetted everything) but even posting disclaimers and a real follow up at some point exposing whatever the actual truth is would be a plus.
And, as mentioned above, there are people actually fighting cancer who could well be desperate to forego treatment which really may help and fall into trying the garbage Brooks was selling.
Yes, I hope so but I'm also assuming that, should she be back next season, it will be spun that she was a victim and taken in by the lies because she loved him and all that shit. It may not work, but I wouldn't be surprised if she gave it a shot.
My guess is they'll have her back, and the plot will go back and forth between "did Vicki lie?" and "who's Vicki dating now?"

Tamra did NOT call Brooks out from day one. She was very neutral about the situation for most of the season, at least in the presence of Vicki and Brooks. She was even the one called over to read that gobbeldygook "report" that was supposed to prove something. It was only at the tail end, mostly reunion, that she finally began to speak up. She very well may have doubted him from the start, but she certainly wasn't outspoken about it.
I think that was a reference to the fact that she thought Brooks seemed like kind of a con from the time Vicki started to date him. She noticed right away that he seemed to be working Vicki, that he was "affirming" her all the time, that he seemed fake. From back in Season 7 or 8, whatever season Brooks was introduced.

I had a client who wanted a specific faucet for her bathroom - the faucet for the sink alone was $3500. Some people have stupid amounts of money.
... and spend it on stupid shit! Forget about charity, because I've no hope they would donate that kind of cash, but Heather could produce a TV show and cast herself as the star, for all the loot they're putting into doorknobs.

I wonder if Brooks dispatched himself to Florida for legal reasons. He doesn't seem to be maintaining an address. Like I'm wondering if he wants to avoid service of process, or if Florida has lenient extradition laws... no clue, but Florida always strikes me as a place with an excess of ex-cons. Course he's still a current con, not an ex-con.

If you watch one of the earlier Brooks/ Vicki episodes, there's a scene at a restaurant where Brooks wants a kiss from Vicki, but she objects that she hates PDA. He forces her to do the kiss in a way I always thought smacked -- ever so slightly-- of bullying. When I rewatched that scene, I did feel in retrospect that I was seeing a tiny glimpse of his emotional control over her.

UGH. Vicki is never going to get it. Watching her, after this, is the equivalent of watching walking awfulness. And not even INTERESTING walking awfulness. She's like a wind-up toy, utterly predictable. And I'm not pulling for her in any way, so why would I care to be interested in her life? Nor am I interested to see whether she's going to learn her lesson, because it's clear by now she's TRULY never going to.

Been rewatching Seasons 8 and 9-- which I only recommend doing if you've upped your usual dose of antidepressants!, esp with Season 9-- and my word, but Heather Dubrow was a horrendous c***. Cold, haughty. She and Terry were both incredibly arrogant.

Usually these "lost footage" episodes are funny and sometimes explain things to fill in the holes as to what was aired during the season.
This one was not so much of either.
I really did not not like this season very much.
If there is a season 11 I hope they go back to more fun and less darkness and depressing story lines.
I totally agree. The last two seasons have been really depressing.

The obvious question...how much did Brooks get paid for this 'special' and interview? And will it go to any legal bills? Okay, I'm not a lawyer but we have misrepresentation and forgery here, at the very least.
I believe Brooks was paid $10k to do this special and interview.

Starting at around 4:57, in this interview with Andy from July 2015, Vicki talks about how she thought she was going to lose Brooks this year, not her mom. The notion that she was afraid Brooks was going to die was, by July 2015, a bald-faced (liar-faced) lie.
