Anything is better than some angsty contrived row (usually in her apartment), so right now I'll hope that the hug means they're on the same wavelength no matter what mess they might be in presumably over Bracken. And whilst it's probably a faint hope, I really do wish Marlowe would wind this story up and find some other source of drama. Bracken can't become President, it's just way too over the top even for him, Beckett (or Castle) has to bring the guy down. He can't keeping slipping through the net all the time, the more ruthless and powerful they make him the sillier the notion is that Caskett should be left alive to continue to cause him trouble.
