  1. I'm ready for him to move on too, I'd be shocked out my shoes if he signs on for S8. I like the guy and I want to see him enthused again with his acting and he is not getting anything from the Castle writers that is firing him up creatively and it shows. The character feels dull and flat. Watching Castle's disinterest in Beckett last season (and the season before) at times was painful and embarrassing to witness and nothing like the Castle of old I just don't get it. Since they've hooked up I'm getting sadly used to waiting for some slapstick comedy routine or forced interruption to ruin whatever romantic moment might be in the offing.
  2. It's been another uneven season for me but overall slightly better (although the Alexis arc really left a bad taste) but yeah otherwise I feel like I'm now on some kind of route march to the (wedding) with nothing interesting along the way to distract me and no guaranteed hope of anything decent when I get to the end of it. Since TWOP is down at the moment I thought I would post this latest tweet from one of the guests stars. jennkathreen 8 hours ago · Hollywood Love a good theme
  3. As long as that stripper is not coming after Castle, I've had my fill of him being accosted by random women who are not Kate Beckett. The finale seems obviously set up for the wedding, lets hope it happens and doesn't get delayed.
  4. Anything is better than some angsty contrived row (usually in her apartment), so right now I'll hope that the hug means they're on the same wavelength no matter what mess they might be in presumably over Bracken. And whilst it's probably a faint hope, I really do wish Marlowe would wind this story up and find some other source of drama. Bracken can't become President, it's just way too over the top even for him, Beckett (or Castle) has to bring the guy down. He can't keeping slipping through the net all the time, the more ruthless and powerful they make him the sillier the notion is that Caskett should be left alive to continue to cause him trouble.
  5. A friend of mine did invite their boss to her wedding but only because he had been the one who employed her straight from school and she had worked for him for about 20 years. I was pretty surprised to hear that Caskett wanted to invite the sister too! They don't even know the woman, so that seemed a bit odd.
  6. I don't think we will be seeing any wedding in the traditional sense either, most of it has already happened in various forms throughout the season and that's been deliberate. Marlowe doesn't intend to repeat himself. I'd be quite happy for them to get married just the two of them as long as it's made a genuinely special and romantic moment unlike the proposal which was anything but. As for the wedding planning, the novelty has worn off and it's got a predictable feel about it, I'm not gaining much insight into the characters as I would like to so it's best they just get on with it. May be their married life will prove more interesting.
