Agreed on that account - and considering the sketch from later in the evening which seemed to have the punchline that Scrooge was gay, it does seem as if this is becoming an Issue (with a capital I) for SNL. I was thinking that same thing when the Scrooge sketch came along, but it kind of seemed like their "message" in that one was that if Scrooge had just been true to himself he would have been happy and not a grump?
