Since this popped back up... the daughter (Sarah Baker, although I couldn't have told you her name with a gun to my head) is Young Sheldon's school librarian.  I like her in both but they're fairly different roles.

And I don't watch Big Little Lies, but it was interesting see that both she and her Young Sheldon costar are in that.

Alan Arkin plays the dad on Sunshine Cleaning on Amazon prime. I liked it but a simple, very small film.

Someone on another thread (Mom, maybe?) was commenting on how Chuck Lorre definitely has a "bench" of actors.  Sheldon's librarian (mentioned already), Bob's mom (now even older and crankier!), a cameo from Duckie,  who else am I forgetting?

Kathleen Turner was on a recent Moth podcast. Not really “in another role “ but telling a story that definitely fit with her character.
