kismet September 29, 2015 Share September 29, 2015 Moira had so many more secrets to tell and plots to weave. It's a shame they didn't some how preserve the relationship with ST. Because now with what feels like a looser flashback structure, time travel, BA's AUs and magic/mysticism, - there are so many ways they could have had her stories unfold or her secrets revealed in certain episodes. Obviously, they couldn't bring her back from the dead. But there are some many creative ways they would have utilized her acting prowess. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/902-moira-queen-mother/page/2/#findComment-1552230
BkWurm1 September 29, 2015 Share September 29, 2015 (edited) I wish they had explored that more in the trial instead of her love affair with MM. Of course then, she probably would have been convicted. The jury was totally rigged so they could have talked about anything they wanted and she still would be set free. I think Moira had knowledge that Malcolm was going to kill her husband, just not when. She didn't know he was going to sabotage the Gambit, I imagine if she did she would've done anything in her power to stop Oliver from going with. Rewatched that episode from season one recently. She only found out that Robert was in a secret group with Malcolm working on fixing the Glades shortly before Robert left on the Gambit. She did dislike the boat in general, but Robert was specifically using the Gambit in the hopes of flying under Malcolm's radar (who had just revealed his true colors with his Earthquake plan). Robert was at that point pretending to go along with him but had some contact he was going to see to help him deal with Malcolm. Yeah, that didn't go so well. AyChihuahua September 30, 2015 Share September 30, 2015 Robert only told her anything about the group/the undertaking (which Malcolm proposed just before the Gambit left) right before Robert left. She was surprised (because she wasn't a lunatic). She told Robert to stop it. There's just nothing in-show indicating she knew anything about the Gambit being sabotaged beforehand, and quite a bit of evidence that she did not know. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/902-moira-queen-mother/page/2/#findComment-1553312
