Since she told Kapoor's son about the money and the dog whose life he saved; I think it's unlikely that she used the money for anything other than the stated purpose.  As for Iggy, he is Kapoor's friend, not his accountant, not his spouse.  If he's got reservations about what Kapoor did, he should keep them to himself, it is not his business.  Presumably, $2000 was not an outrageous sum for Kapoor who undoubtedly makes well into 6 figures annually; there's no evidence that he sold his car, depleted his retirement fund or skipped a mortgage payment to provide it to her.  He's an adult and what he does with his money is his business, even if Iggy doesn't agree with his choices.

I don't think Iggy asking Kapoor about it was out of line, but once he responded negatively, Iggy should've dropped it.
