At least NaNa got out of the game (good redemption for Wee-Bey there walking tall like a man) Its been a few years but I can't recall Namond picking up a street name. aemom April 7 Share April 7 (edited) I've heard a lot about this show over the years and my husband and I finally watched it all over the last month and a half. For a 20 year-old show, it holds up fairly well. It really was an excellent show. It felt authentic especially because the characters tended to be very grey - some good characteristics and some bad. The characters didn't Necessarily get what they deserved in the end. On a funny note, we also watch a show called Will Trent which stars Ramon Rodriguez along with Sonja Sohn as his boss. As we were watching The Wire one evening, there was a scene with Omar and his new friend Renaldo. I said "he looks a lot like Will Trent." Turned out that it was indeed him! Many of these actors went on to other things so good for them.
