covington May 28, 2014 Share May 28, 2014 (edited) I have been really impressed by his development as a character throughout the first season. I thought it would be fun to discuss his highs and lows. He definitely was not the character I thought I'd like the most by season's end. Edited May 28, 2014 by covington Link to comment

dirtypop90 June 7, 2014 Share June 7, 2014 (edited) Francis is my favorite character on this show. Very surprised by his development and the actor who plays him. He's very talented for the CW as has insane chemistry with Adelaide. When I was watching the promo for the show I totally thought I would be a Bash fan. But he became so dull and obsessive of Mary and now really doesn't do anything but play in the woods. I thought he would be different. Who knew he would be the one staying home while Francis would be in battle? Francis on the other hand became everything I wanted in a prince. He has flaws but I love his love for his country (I like that he's not all about Mary) and he's one of the most rational and intelligent characters on this show. I actually found him interesting in the first ep though most people hated him. I liked that he was trying to avoid getting close to this girl who may not be his wife but ended up falling anyways. atomationage June 14, 2014 Share June 14, 2014 I hope the next two years of history last for the rest of the run of the show. Then they can have an epilogue for the rest of Mary's life. Link to comment
Rhondinella June 14, 2014 Share June 14, 2014 Well, considering the historical Henry would have been killed off in the first couple episodes (the jousting accident he died in was at his daughter's wedding celebration, I believe), and yet they managed to drag it out til the end of the first season, I see no reason why not. 1 Link to comment
atomationage June 14, 2014 Share June 14, 2014 History just didn't happen in the right order for the writers' convenience, so they decided to "improve" it. 1 Link to comment
