This Is A New Note From Your Mods

Hello everyone! 

In anticipation for the new season starting up this week, there are some other small changes in the air with the mod team. We are your mods, @deaja and @Lady Calypso. We are here to answer any questions or concerns you may have. 

Just some basic stuff to get started here:

First off, we do want to keep the episode threads about the actual episode. We know that discussions can sometimes get very in depth and you get into a good flow. But we have a multitude of threads to take off topic discussions to if it stops talking about the episode in itself. 

If you aren't sure where exactly to post, we have quite a few different threads to post to! Here are just some of them:

• This Is Our Minutiae Thread: For Those Pesky Job/Housing/Money/Geographical Details: Sometimes, there are those tiny details from the show that aren't quite right in terms of accuracy. Or, perhaps, there is something that they got precisely right. Whatever the detail is, if you want to discuss it in length outside of an episode thread, it belongs here! 
• This Is Our Social & Cultural Issues Thread: There are always going to be some discussions about the social and cultural issues on the show, and it's important to talk about! This is where you can take any further discussion about these important issues! 
• This Is Our Speculation Without Spoilers Topic: Do you want to talk about the season and speculate without having the worry about running into spoilers? Then it belongs here!  
• This Is Our Spoiler and Speculation Topic: This is where you discuss any spoilers for upcoming episodes. Hear something in the media about a character dying? Is it Jack for the umpteenth time? Did the showrunners specify what will make you cry this time? Then any spoilers belong here! 
• This Is Us Future: What Plots Or Storylines Do You Want To See?: This is slightly different from the Speculations Without Spoilers topic. This is essentially a wishlist thread of what you'd like to see, whether or not it has been hinted at on the show. For example, do you want to see a flashback of Jack and Rebecca taking a trip together? Do you want to see more flashfowards? Then feel free to post them all on here!
• Unpopular Opinions Thread: Ironically, this may be the most popular topic on here! Do you share an unpopular opinion and are afraid to admit it? Do you just really hate Randall and are afraid of the pitchforks coming out? Do you love Toby the most and are determined to talk about it with people but don't want to be judged? This is where you can post all of that!  

These are just some of the threads you can post on if the discussion goes beyond the actual episodes.
